Abstract Reconfigurable organic electrochemical transistors (r‐OECTs) are considered a promising platform for fully integrated physical reservoir computing (RC) owing to their dual switching modes, which are suitable for both the reservoir and readout layers. However, their restricted dynamic ranges (DR) have constrained their nonlinearity, high‐dimensional mapping capacity, and the reconfigurability of neural networks for optimal physical RC. In this study, r‐OECTs with a modified PEDOT:PSS channel and solid electrolyte is designed and fabricated, achieving dual‐modal essential synaptic functions (nonvolatile and volatile) through ethylene glycol (EG) content adjustment. The r‐OECTs with the EG of 680 and 1000 µL exhibit exceptional DR of 1.12 × 10⁵ in nonvolatile mode and 1.20 × 103 volatile mode, respectively, representing a significant improvement over previously reported OECTs. The nonvolatile mode exhibits long‐term memory with robust and gradual long‐term potentiation (LTP) and long‐term depression (LTD), while the volatile mode demonstrates short‐term memory for extracting reservoir states. The r‐OECTs, functioning in two modes as the reservoir and readout layers with high DRs, enable accurate classification of human activities such as jogging (J), brushing teeth (B), and folding clothes (F) with an accuracy of 84.38% in a fully integrated physical RC system.

Twenty-first-century roboticists envision robots capable of sorting objects and packaging them, of chopping vegetables and folding clothes. But although many today believe that the only factors necessary for robots to achieve dexterous manipulation are data and artificial intelligence (AI), managing all the mundane manipulations that humans perform daily requires constant adaptation to changing conditions. These operations include tasks demanding millisecond-level responses to prevent irreparable damage, such as quickly stabilizing a slipping package or halting a knife just before it cuts into a table. Although recent advances in intelligent robot control have considerably expanded-and will continue to expand-the range and complexity of tasks that robots can perform, AI, data, and control theory alone are not enough. A brain cannot manipulate items effectively without a body-and specifically hands-suited to the task.

The animated series “Omar & Hana Arabic”, which is known as an Islamic educational show, presents a representation of father’s role that is different from patriarchal stereotypes. This research aims to 1) to identify the form of fathers involvement in domestic work; 2) to explain the impact of fathers involvement in domestic work. This research uses Qualitative with Qualitative Descriptive approach. The main source in this research is scenes and dialogs from the “Omar & Hana Arabic” animation series. Data collection was conducted through observation using three documentation techniques, namely watching, listening, and recording. The data were then analyzed according to the Miles and Huberman stage model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study illustrate that: 1) father is actively involved in the domestic sphere, namely childcare, such as reading inspirational stories to children, making children's toys, preparing children's meals, teaching children to ride bicycles, and playing with children. Father also contribute to household chores, such as caring for parents, washing dishes, folding clothes, preparing dinner for the family, cooking, shopping for home needs, and cleaning the house. 2) the involvement of fathers in childcare and household chores has three important impacts on the family: social impact for women (wife) because she has the opportunity to express herself; psychological impact for children when father have emotional closeness with his children; and cultural impact through the transmission of gender ideology that educates children that in the family, men and women have the same role and help each other.

Folding clothes is an important job in a convection, where when folding clothes must be neat so that when packing, consumers become interested. But many think that folding clothes is boring. From this problem, the researcher produced an automatic clothes folding device based on Arduino uno. It is hoped that it can make it easier and shorten the time in folding clothes in the middle to lower convection. The purpose of design and research is to be able to design and make a folding device with automatic drive, the size of the shirt that can be folded with an automatic mechanism folding device, namely Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L). This tool uses three servos for the drive, LCD and buzzer as a reporter of the display and sound. By testing the feasibility of the hardware and the entire prototype of the automatic folding tool used at the Ririn Tailor Convection in Blitar Regency, based on two sources, the first from the user test, the results of the user test that has been carried out 3 times per person obtained a value of 72,6% of the average percentage of each user test because it has not been exposed to water, then the second source of robotics system experts with 3 tests got a score of 75% because, the existence of construction less solid so less for the long term.

In the era of globalization and modernization, every nation has the opportunity to become an advanced and independent nation, but if the nation does not have strong character and resilience, modernization and globalization will bring threats to the nation. Both "personality" and "character" are interchangeable concepts. Both of these are considered as traits based on a person's social formation. Character is defined as a unique characteristic, quality, style, or personality of a person based on the formation of society in the book Mutmainnah. Many researchers make literary works such as song lyrics, novels, and so on as objects in their research because literary works are considered the easiest objects to analyze. However, only a few of them have researched the development of the nation's character in literary works. In fact, the formation of national character is very important for students in the world of education so that it attracts researchers to conduct this research. The aims of this research are (1) To identify the national characters building that appear in song lyrics of Stand out fit in, A millions dreams and By my side. (2) To describe the contextual meanings of the national character building found in the selected songs‟ lyrics. The researcher chose descriptive qualitative as the research design because the researcher wanted to analyze and report the results and findings using words rather than numbers. In analyzing the data, this study uses content analysis techniques by comparing data, making categorizations, presenting data tabulations, verbally describing, and interpreting findings to make inferences. The results showed that: The researcher found 4 national characters in “Stand out fit in song” that has been analyzed into 3 independents, 1 hardworking, 1 love of peace. In “A million dreams song” the researcher found 5 National character building that has been analyzed into 2 Curious, 1 independent, 1 Communicative, 1 peace loving, 1 Tolerance. Then in “by my side song” the researcher found 2 National character building that has been analyzed into 1 curious, 3 peace loving.

Simulation of the static loading to the folding frame of the clothes hanger investigated by using Software Autodesk Fusion 360. The strength of the folding frame is important during hanging the clothes weight. The simulation of loading of wet clothes was by Autodesk Fusion 360 and performed in real life. The loads spread to three positions, which those locations investigated as critical locations. The locations are at short distance X1, medium X2, and far X3; the zeroing is from the wall. The simulation performs Von Misses procedure for the loading analysis. Thus, the result of the analysis responds to the external load at the joints of the structure. The loads are the weight of the wet clothes during drying time. The bar aluminum structure connects its parts using hinges. Simulation result obtains data of loading. Further, displacement analysis completes those data. The safety factor was at the frame loading simulation. That is, those data are in by Von Misses stress-strain analysis. The result reveals the effect of the frame loading. The process of loading 12 kg induces a safety factor 3.746, normal stress 73.42 Mpa, and a displacement of structure bar 6.452 mm. At loading 22 kg obtains the safety factor 2.038, maximum stress 134.9 Mpa, and the displacement 9.86 mm. Furthermore, loading 37 kg-load, the safety factor 1.21, prime stress enlarges 61.48 Mpa, and the displacement was larger by 10.97 mm. Therefore, the simulation result concludes the weight of clothes trends a linear effect on the loading of part joints. The frame structure is tough to the weight of dry clothes and safe, deformation of the bar is less than 10 % of normalizing for 37 kg-loading.

Gait recognition is the process of identifying a person from a distance based on their walking patterns. However, the recognition rate drops significantly under cross-view angle and appearance-based variations. In this study, the effectiveness of the most well-known gait representations in solving this problem is investigated based on deep learning. For this purpose, a comprehensive performance evaluation is performed by combining different modalities, including silhouettes, optical flows, and concatenated image of the Gait Energy Image (GEI) head and leg region, with GEI itself. This evaluation is carried out across different multimodal deep convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures, namely fine-tuned EfficientNet-B0, MobileNet-V1, and ConvNeXt-base models. These models are trained separately on GEIs, silhouettes, optical flows, and concatenated image of GEI head and leg regions, and then extracted GEI features are fused in pairs with other extracted modality features to find the most effective gait combination. Experimental results on the two different datasets CASIA-B and Outdoor-Gait show that the concatenated image of GEI head and leg regions significantly increased the recognition rate of the networks compared to other modalities. Moreover, this modality demonstrates greater robustness under varied carrying (BG) and clothing (CL) conditions compared to optical flows (OF) and silhouettes (SF). Abstract For people living with dementia, information‐processing capabilities and previously acquired knowledge is generally limited. Daily tasks such as making coffee or teeth brushing may become too difficult to complete independently. People with normal cognitive functioning learn about the environment as they move through it with spatial information obtained sequentially, requiring mental activity to process this successive input into a comprehensive understanding of a task. Without this ability, individuals with dementia in many cases then rely on repetitive cuing for tasks from their family member or caregiver. The approach for this project was the evaluation of task prompting for a wearable cognitive assistive technology for support in cueing on for multi‐step home tasks. Choosing meaningful tasks, and breaking them down in a way that a caregiver would usually provide prompting support is not trivial. The physical or environmental context of the task can also affect the flow of the task, and the personality of the person carrying out the task can influence how methodically the prompts are followed. The testing took place in a lab setting set up to represent a one‐bedroom apartment. A sample of older adults 65+ took part in a series of protocols for eight multi‐step tasks and for each task four delivery modes options (written text, audio, still photo, video) and four sequencing modes (auto‐generated, self‐request, one‐time, step by step) which included: kitchen‐ loading the dishwasher, setting the table and making coffee, bedroom‐ making the bed, folding clothes, bathroom‐ brushing teeth, hand washing and face washing. This pre‐testing of system components was performed in order to reduce marginal risks, increase effectiveness, and maximize benefits for the end‐user population of individuals with dementia who will test the device in future projects and the outcomes from this research will ultimately enable the mode and sequencing of task prompting for this populations' frequently changing needs.

Achieving multicapability in a single soft gripper for handling ultrasoft, ultrathin, and ultraheavy objects is challenging due to the tradeoff between compliance, strength, and precision. Here, combining experiments, theory, and simulation, we report utilizing angle-programmed tendril-like grasping trajectories for an ultragentle yet ultrastrong and ultraprecise gripper. The single gripper can delicately grasp fragile liquids with minimal contact pressure (0.05 kPa), lift objects 16,000 times its own weight, and precisely grasp ultrathin, flexible objects like 4-μm-thick sheets and 2-μm-diameter microfibers on flat surfaces, all with a high success rate. Its scalable and material-independent design allows for biodegradable noninvasive grippers made from natural leaves. Explicitly controlled trajectories facilitate its integration with robotic arms and prostheses for challenging tasks, including picking grapes, opening zippers, folding clothes, and turning pages. This work showcases soft grippers excelling in extreme scenarios with potential applications in agriculture, food processing, prosthesis, biomedicine, minimally invasive surgeries, and deep-sea exploration.

The growth of laundry every year will increase by 20% and reach 50% in 2022. In the laundry washing process, the process of ironing and folding clothes is a process that requires the most energy and long time. Constraints that occur in the process of ironing and folding clothes cause overload so that many laundries refuse customer requests causing the resulting turnover to be not optimal. The folding ironing table innovation can combine the functions of ironing as well as folding clothes in one process. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is used to get the voice of the customer and build the House of Quality (HOQ) matrix. Customers desire an ironing board product that has strong and sturdy material, ergonomic design, wide table size, flexible and multifunctional, quality base, and has an attractive design. The development of a folding ironing table product design with a strong and sturdy material, specifically stainless steel, as well as an ironing table base that can be rotated and folded flexibly is expected to make the process of ironing and folding clothes more effectiveKeywords : laundry, ironing, folding clothes, Quality Function Deployment, House of Quality

Current pre-training methods in computer vision focus on natural images in the daily-life context. However, abstract diagrams such as icons and symbols are common and important in the real world. We are inspired by Tangram, a game that requires replicating an abstract pattern from seven dissected shapes. By recording human experience in solving tangram puzzles, we present the Tangram dataset and show that a pre-trained neural model on the Tangram helps solve some mini visual tasks based on low-resolution vision. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed method generates intelligent solutions for aesthetic tasks such as folding clothes and evaluating room layouts. The pre-trained feature extractor can facilitate the convergence of few-shot learning tasks on human handwriting and improve the accuracy in identifying icons by their contours. The Tangram dataset is available at https://github.com/yizhouzhao/Tangram.

Manipulation of deformable objects is an essential task in surgery, the textile industry, and household tasks, such as washing, hanging, and folding clothes. However, current studies on fabric manipulation, have rarely considered the scenes in which rigid objects have to be wrapped by fabrics. This type of operation is widely adopted in the logistic packaging and packaging of surgical instrument baskets. In this study, we propose a method to perform this operation, which can be used in fabric folding or wrapping a box with fabric. Owing to the complex dynamics and configuration spaces of fabric, our method is based on deep imitation learning to estimate pick-place points and the phase of the manipulation process. The dataset was completely generated from an open-source physical simulator. To make the data as realistic as that in actual scenarios, we adopted domain randomization and rendered the texture of fabric and box from the real world to simulation data. This not only helps in transferring the learned policies to a physical robot, but also allows the robot to wrap a box with complex patterns. The experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the developed method for accomplishing complex manipulation tasks. The results also showed that it could be generalized to fabrics with different colors and boxes with different sizes, textures, or geometric shapes.
