Exploring Early Childhood Interests and Talents Through Role-Play Methods

Children's interests and talents are two very important things to develop from an early age. Both can be the foundation for children's future development, both in academic and non-academic fields. One effective method to explore children's interests and talents is through role-playing. This method is not only fun for children, but also full of educational benefits. Exploring children's talents and understanding their potential from an early age is the key to helping them grow and develop optimally. Children have their own world full of curiosity and uniqueness, through observation and deep understanding of their responses and behavior. We can find valuable clues about the interests and talents they are born with. Providing freedom to explore and the opportunity to try various activities is an effective way to help children find their own interests and talents. This process is not only about finding a particular talent but also about building self-confidence and the ability to adapt to various situations. In the role-playing method, the themes that can be given are themes that are close to the child's world, such as family and profession through these themes, role-playing will be more effective because children know and directly play the characters they will play and children will interact with other friends. So that social development can be honed to the maximum.

The role of parenting styles in increasing the achievement of Shorinji Kempo athletes: a literature review

Achievement is one of the universal aspiration among athletes in the world of sports. The aim of this research is to determine the role of parenting styles in enhancing the performance of Shorinji Kempo athletes. The study employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques that include editing, organizing, and synthesizing information. The data analysis conducted through content analysis, utilizing internet applications such as Scopus, Sinta, and Google Scholar. The results of this study show parental involvement plays a crucial role in boosting the performance of Shorinji Kempo athletes, particularly during adolescence. Parents are the jewel and main educators for an athlete at home and in the social environment, even though they train with a coach and then study at school. While coaches and teachers contribute to an athlete's development, they act as extensions of parental guidance, providing education and support that may not be available at home. Facilities that cannot be obtained at home but are obtained at school can be complement for children in their development process, while coaches are developers of children's talents and interests that are previously identified by parents. The study concludes that the achievements of young athletes are significantly influenced by the parenting styles they experience. The role of parents in this case is to provide warm, caring, and affectionate family care that has maximum positive impact. As a result, athletes are more likely to grow into well-rounded adults with strong personal qualities, capable of fully realizing their talents and achieving excellence in sports performance.

Implementasi Kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka pada Pengembangan Bakat dan Minat Siswa SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 Songgom Brebes

This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum policy in developing the talents and interests of students at SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 Songgom Brebes. The author uses field research where researchers go directly into the field to obtain research data. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum policy in developing the talents and interests of students at SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1. The data collection methods used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. Next, the author analyzes the data using the Miles and Huberman model by reducing data, presenting the data and verifying the data. Then the data was tested for validity by data triangulation. The results of the research show that SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 has implemented an independent curriculum to develop students' talents and interests, including: providing motivation to students, fostering enthusiasm for learning, paying attention to students, exploring family backgrounds, and establishing collaboration with student parents. SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 also does several things to support children's talents and interests, including: drum band training, scout training and others. There are also several computer units and sports equipment.

Education is one measure of success or success in the knowledge/intelligence of students with their talents. Talent is an innate potential ability, which still needs to be honed and retrained so that it can become a capable ability, expertise and skills. Talent can be obtained from several ability tests that will be carried out so that children can find out what talents they have. MIS Mutia Rahma is a school that plays an important role in developing the talents of each of its students with various standards from the lowest to the highest. This school strives to maximize the potential of its students. Based on data obtained from 2010-2022, there are 1056 student talent development data. However, from this data it is not yet clear how the process of dividing groups and monitoring student talents is carried out. Therefore, an effective method is needed to process this data in order to classify the development of children's talents. The method that can be used to group data on children's talent development is the K-Means algorithm. Of the 20 data, there are 3 groups, namely group 1 has 7 data and group 2 has 11 data, and group 3 has 2 data with the most results obtained being cluster 2 with the group level of talent development in children aged (X) 8-10 years, who have the ability (Y) linguistic ability (KL), musical ability (KM), spatial ability (KS), kinesthetic ability (KK) & intrapersonal ability (KIP), the type of extracurricular (Z) that is developed in children is Football.

Parents' attention in educating children in the family environment is very important because the family is the best place to start education, in the family environment learning opportunities can be utilized to develop children's talents. Discipline is obedience and obedience to something that has been agreed upon. Discipline can be trained from an early age through the family's parenting style, in which parents play a bigger role. The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis research method. The research results show that every person who has a different educational background certainly wants their child to be successful and disciplined in the future, therefore every parent provides rules, motivation and encouragement to become an educated and disciplined person because that is important.

The Role of Educational Program Evaluation in Optimizing the Quality of Learning at MA Nurul Fadhilah

Evaluation of educational programs is an effort to find out the goals of education, it can also be interpreted as an effort to provide information that will later be conveyed to decision makers. This study is intended to review how evaluation of educational programs can play a role in optimizing the quality of learning. By using a qualitative ethnographic research approach in which we conducted direct observations and interviews with one of the teaching staff at the target school, this study found: First, evaluation activities were carried out regularly on a weekly basis. Second, the method used in evaluating madrasas is through standards of infrastructure, curriculum and financing. Third, the educational program implemented is a question and answer pattern regarding children's talents and interests. This makes it easier for educational staff to find out which programs are suitable to be implemented. Thus, evaluation of educational programs plays a very important role in improving the quality of learning.

CHILDREN'S RIGHTS IN A QUASI BROKEN HOME PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC LAW AND LAW NUMBER 35 OF 2014 CONCERNING CHILD PROTECTION

Abstract: In modern society, many symptoms of a quasi broken home are found in a family. This results in communication between children and parents being disturbed, the family becoming disharmonious and children's attitudes tending to become naughty. The aims of this research are (1) to determine children's rights in quasi broken homes in West Langsa District, (2) to determine the perspective of Islamic law and Law Number 35 of 2014 on the practice of fulfilling children's rights in quasi broken homes in West Langsa District and (3) to determine the similarities and differences between the perspective of Islamic law and Law Number 35 of 2014 regarding the practice of fulfilling children's rights in quasi broken homes in West Langsa District. This research uses a normative empirical approach and the type of research is field research. To obtain data, researchers used observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that (1) children's rights in quasi broken homes in West Langsa District are not implemented well because parents are busy at work. (2) The perspective of Islamic law and Law Number 35 of 2014 on the practice of fulfilling children's rights in quasi broken homes in West Langsa District, namely in fulfilling the right to life, the right to education, the right to voice and participate and the right to fulfill identity and inheritance has been fulfilled properly. However, children's rights related to protection from violence have not been fulfilled properly and children's rights related to the provision of love and care are also not fulfilled properly because parents are busy. (3) The similarities and differences between the perspective of Islamic law and Law Number 35 of 2014 regarding the practice of fulfilling children's rights in a quasi broken home in West Langsa District can be seen in the fulfillment of children's education where in Islamic law children's education consists of formal education which is worldly in nature and religious education, whereas in Law Number 35 of 2014 it is only limited to education adapted to the child's talents and interests. Apart from that, another difference lies in Law Number 35 of 2014 which also states the child's right to be able to be cared for by someone other than their parents.

Increasing the Interests and Talents of Children in Titi Payung Village in Learning English and Malay

Language is an essential thing that is applied in almost every field of life, including in the field of education, bussiness, industry, entertainment, etc. In the current era of globalization, English is very important to master because English is one of the most widely used international official languages ​​to communicate globally. Learning English opens various opportunities both in education and career of an individual. Children in Titi Payung Village, Batu Bara District, Air Putih District, Sumatra Utara Province have some difficulties in approaching and learning English. Besides English, of course, the local language also needs to be preserved in order to study and introduce culture to the outside world. The people in Titi Payung Village have a diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Javanese, Bataknese and Malay. By that the children in Titi Payung Village are the right target for learning Malay in order to conserve the Malay culture. Based on this, students from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of North Sumatra took part in the KKNT-2022 activities and held programs of theaching languages such as English (English Course) and Malay to the children in Titi Payung Village namely in the Rumah Belajar program. This is done with the aim of improving language skills in children with carry out teaching English and Malay to children in Titi Payung Village and publish every activity to Titi Payung`s KKNT-36's social media account so that it is known and supported by the community.

Implementasi Program Sekolah Penggerak di SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang

Sekolah Penggerak Program is one of the education recovery steps taken by the government. In the implementation of this program, there are five interventions, namely consultative and asymmetrical assistance, improving school human resources, new paradigm learning, data-based planning and school digitalization. Among the five interventions, new paradigm learning is the main focus of schools. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Sekolah Penggerak Program at SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang on new paradigm learning which includes differentiated learning, a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila of the students and the process of grade increment and subject selection in class XI. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with case study method. The place of research at SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang in May to June 2023 conducted by the researcher as the main instrument of research. The data collected through interview, observation and documentation study techniques. The collected data analyzed with the stages of reduction, representation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using data source triangulation techniques. The results revealed that the school implements Sekolah Penggerak program by focusing on new paradigm learning, namely the implementation of differentiated learning, the project of strengthening sutedents’ profile of Pancasila and conducting the grade increment process as well as the selection of subjects that apply the principles of child-centered learning. Differentiated learning is implemented with three strategies: content differentiation, process differentiation and product differentiation. The determination of differentiated learning strategies is based on data mapping children's learning readiness obtained from diagnostic assessments. The Strengthening Profile of Pancasila Project of Students is implemented with a one-day project scheduling system every week. The process of implementation the project from preparation to assessment is designed based on the themes and profile dimensions set by the facilitation team. The grade increment system from grade X in phase E to grade XI in phase F is based on the achievement of learning objectives and the completion of the project theme in that grade. The selection of elective subjects in grade XI is based on the child's talents, interests, and readiness then the selection process is carried out freely and refers to the results of the child's diagnostic test. Children are given the opportunity to change their elective subjects in the first semester of grade XI by considering the child's learning progress and psychological condition.

ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN PADA HOMESCHOOLING & PKBM ANUGRAH BANGSA SEMARANG

The aim of this research was to analyze: (a) homeschooling as an alternative education in some communities, (b) homeschooling education programs facilitated by institutions (c) exploring cultural aspects in homeschooling education, (d) the implementation of government policies in the Non-Formal Education shown as equality procedures for homeschoolers. This research applied qualitative methods with a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects in this research were institutions that housed single homeschooling and community homeschooling called Homeschooling and PKBM Anugrah Bangsa. The research was conducted by following the steps and processes of inductive qualitative research. The research found three main findings; (a) the choice of homeschooling as an alternative education with a single (independent) and community (classical) practice model has reasons, motivations, methods and approaches as well as developing children's talents and interests as well as efforts to build a child's future. (b) a factual model of the implementation of government policies in the implementation of educational programs shown as applied curriculum and procedures for switching to formal schools.

Natural-Based Learning Practice at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School

Education is an important foundation in shaping future generations who are competent and have integrity. In the context of Islamic education, learning that is centered on fitrah (basic human nature) has become an important focus in developing students' potential. The purpose of this research is to describe the practice of nature-based learning at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School, so that the focus of the research is in the form of planning and implementing nature-based learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Respondents in this study included school principals, teachers, and students of SD Muhammadiyah Pakel. The results of this study indicate that nature-based learning practices are implemented through extracurricular activities as well as fostering students' talents which are contained in 6 development models, namely: 1) religious values ​​and moral ethics, 2) physical and motor skills of students 3) reasoning knowledge, 4) grammar , 5) soul socially and emotionally, and 6) works of art. In practice, learning is done by making class groups of students according to the interests and talents of each student. This is done so that the child's self-potential is growing rapidly because in the learning process it refers to the child's talents and interests.

Implementation of P5 in the Merdeka Curriculum towards Strengthening the Character of Love for the Motherland in Early Childhood

National education in Indonesia implements various aspects of development by increasing abilities and forming dignified character in students. This research aims to analyze the implementation of P5 in the independence curriculum on the character of patriotism. This type of research is research that uses qualitative descriptive research methods. This research focuses on implementing P5 and strengthening the character of patriotism in early childhood. The population of this research is students and children's teachers. This research also uses observation, interview, and documentation data collection methods to collect data from group teacher subjects and principal informants. Data validity uses data analysis techniques such as triangulation, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this research show that implementing P5 as an effort to increase the character of patriotism is carried out in three stages. In the initial stage, the teacher deepens the child's talent interests to adjust the activities and themes of the P5 project. Project activities will be developed and arranged at the development stage based on a predetermined project theme. At the conclusion stage, the teacher will evaluate and reflect on the activities that have been carried out based on the children's achievements and feedback from parents. Apart from that, in its implementation, the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile are also inserted into children's learning and daily life to familiarize children with character development.

The Communication Approach Employed By The Coach and Students In Training and Developing The Potential of Student Basketball Athletes at DBL Academy Basketball

In life, humans are often brought together in a container or organization, either formal or non-formal. In a sports club institution that has many students, an effective way is needed for a coach in the process of developing children's talents by communicating well. To find out how the patterns and processes of communication between coaches and students in the process of developing the potential of basketball student athletes at DBL Academy, researchers conducted descriptive qualitative research, using Bandura's social learning theory which has a starting point that humans learn through observation and Devito's theory of interpersonal communication patterns. The researcher concluded that DBL Academy offers a series of programs that are not only focused on basketball but also on teaching and training life values to be reflected in the realization of developing student athlete potential. In addition, the researcher concluded that DBL Academy uses interpersonal communication patterns, including intimate communication carried out with people who already have emotional closeness, social conversations that are not so deep but are fun for the perpetrator, interrogation which is communication that demands information from the interlocutor, and interviews. Like communication patterns that are implemented in all educational institutions.

Analysis of the Implementation of Angklung Art Learning Patterns as Early Childhood Actualization

Learning for early childhood aims to develop various abilities and train children in meeting their needs. One of the needs of children is self-actualization which can be stimulated through learning at school. Learning activities at school can be done with various activities. One of them is angklung learning activities. Where these activities are extracurricular activities at school with the aim of increasing children's talents and interests. This study aims to determine how to implement angklung learning patterns in schools as a form of early childhood actualization. This research was conducted with qualitative descriptive research methods with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research were analyzed to find out what kind of angklung learning can realize early childhood self-actualization.

CERTAINTY FACTOR METHODS IN IDENTIFYING INTERESTS AND TALENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN AL IKHLAS TAQWA

Psychologists and child education experts always remind the importance of knowing interests and talents from an early age to provide a stimulus to children from an early age, because the provision of the stimulus affects the future of children. This study aims to (1) To make calculations in mathematical models to calculate and analyze the interests of children's talents using applications. (2) To create a web-based information system that can facilitate teachers and parents in determining the interests of children's talents at the Al-Ikhlas Taqwa Plus Elementary School using the Certainty Factor method. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) method using the certainty factor. The population in this study were all students of SD Plus Al Ikhlas Taqwa Medan T.P 2021/2022 starting from grades 3-6. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by interviews, material expert test questionnaires, and media experts, and the results of the children's talent interest questionnaire were processed using the Certainty Factor. The results of this study are the results of interest and talent analysis based on 7 intelligence criteria and also the highest summary results from several criteria with one of the tests yielding a percentage of 93.58% in the field of linguistics.

Predicting Children's Talent Based On Hobby Using C4.5 Algorithm And Random Forest

A person's talent is closely related to intelligence, hobbies, and interests. These factors are the best features to be used in a dataset to predict a children's talent, such as in an academy, arts, or sports. This research uses the C4.5 and random forest algorithms in 8 different models to predict a children's talent based on a dataset gained from a survey involving 1601 parents. Each model contains four training-testing data ratios, such as 50:50, 60:40, 70:30, and 80:20. We calculate each model prediction performance using 10-fold and 20-fold cross validation, with the accuracy, f-score, precision, and recall values as a comparison. The best result for the training evaluation we get is 91.5% for each comparison value from the random forest model (70:30 ratio) using a 20-fold cross-validation. For the testing evaluation, we get 92.7%, 92.8%, 92.8%, and 92.7% from the random forest model (50:50 ratio). The worst testing evaluation we get is 81.7% for each comparison value from the C4.5 model (50:50 ratio) using a 20-fold cross-validation. For the testing evaluation, we get 89.2%, 89.2%, 89.3%, and 89.2% from the C4.5 model (50:50 ratio).

Sistem Pakar Untuk Mendeteksi Minat Dan Bakat : Sebuah Systematic Literature Review

We present a systematic literature review of an expert system to detect children's interests and talents. The purpose of this review is to plot all aspects of knowledge in the field of education, especially those using the expert system method, what children do in learning and how expert system methods can help in determining children's interests and talents. We conducted a systematic literature review of published studies that focused on the use of expert systems methods. The systematic review in this study is used to analyze how expert system methods can contribute massively to developments in the field of education. This research can also be used as a guideline for the most widely used expert system method to determine children's interests and talents. Research on determining children's talents and interests from 20 papers in a systematic literature review provides a broad understanding of the research conducted on what makes the system able to determine the best talents and interests for children through data obtained from experts

Development of Children’s Talent and Creativity through Digital Media

Inappropriate use of smartphones can have a negative impact on children's development so it is necessary to utilize smartphones in developing children's talents and creativity. This article aims to find out alternative strategies for developing children's talents and creativity through digital media. This research is library research. Data collection is done by documentation technique. The sources of research data were obtained from articles, journals related to the problem being studied which were obtained from internet sites. The results of this study are alternative strategies in developing children's talents and creativity using smartphones during a pandemic can be done with expressions of love for the Qur'an, exploration of the yard, creating art at home, and creating caring. Efforts to develop children's talents and creativity can be done by creating a fun playing environment.
