Peran Mahasiswa KKN Melalui Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur’an dalam Meningkatkan Potensi Anak-Anak di Kelurahan Muara Laung 1 Melalui Seni Baca Al-Qur’an

The ability to read the Koran well, correctly (tajwid) and beautifully (qiro'ah) is very important for every Muslim. This research was carried out by involving KKN students who collaborated with this institution to organize interactive and interesting learning programs. The method used is Participation Action Research (PAR). The research results show that this activity not only improves Al-Qur'an reading skills, but also builds children's interest and motivation to learn. In addition, this program has succeeded in involving parents and the community in supporting children's religious education, creating a positive learning environment. Thus, the role of KKN students has proven to be significant in the development of religious education in the community and a significant increase in certain aspects, such as recitation, recitation and interest in reading the Al-Qur'an. This research recommends increasing collaboration between educational institutions and the community for the sustainability of Al-Qur'an-based education programs in the future.

Strategi Efektif dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di TPQ Darul Ulum Desa Kreyo Wonotunggal Batang

Education is a systematic and continuous process for developing a person's knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. The main goal of education is to prepare individuals to function effectively in society, as well as to facilitate personal growth and development. One of these is the Al-Qur'an Education Park. The Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) has an important role in children's religious education, but often faces challenges in terms of improving the quality of teaching. This article discusses various effective strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of teaching at TPQ Darul Ulum . This research also explores the role of technology in supporting the teaching and learning process and the importance of parental involvement in supporting children's learning. The research results show that strategies such as continuous training for teachers, use of interactive learning media, and regular evaluations have a positive impact in increasing the effectiveness of teaching at TPQ. It is hoped that this article can serve as a guide for TPQ administrators to implement best practices and achieve higher educational standards within the TPQ environment

Upaya Peningkatan Nilai Religius Pada Anak-Anak Desa Kandri Melalui Implementasi Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an Di Desa Kandri Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang

Religious education for children at TPQ Kandri Village plays a crucial role in shaping their personality and faith. This study discusses the implementation of religious values through various interactive and fun learning methods, allowing children to internalize Islamic teachings effectively at TPQ. The results show that the religious values implemented in the TPQ of Kandri Village children, such as mutual respect, worship, self-confidence, social discipline, discipline, honesty, respect for previous scholars, and the cultivation of the value of Ahlu Sunah Waljamaah teachings, succeeded in increasing their religious values. This activity was conducted in Kandri Village, Gunungpati Subdistrict, Semarang City. This research is expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of the approach applied in educating children in the TPQ environment, as well as its impact on the formation of their religious character.

Hubungan Antara Pembelajaran PAI & Budi Pekerti terhadap Perilaku Sosial Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama: Studi Deskriptif di kelas IX SMPN 48 Bandung

This research aims to explore the relationship between learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and character towards the social behavior of students in class IX SMPN 48 Bandung. The research method used is qualitative with a naturalistic approach. Data was obtained from students, PAI teachers, school principals, and deputy heads of curriculum. The research results show that PAI learning plays an important role in shaping students' character, especially in the aspect of discipline in worship. Factors such as the behavior and characteristics of other people, cognitive processes, environmental factors, and cultural background also influence students' social behavior. PAI teachers have a crucial role in guiding students to develop positive attitudes, such as a sense of empathy, integrity, responsibility and honesty. There is a positive relationship between PAI learning and students' social behavior, where understanding religious values ​​can influence student behavior positively. PAI teachers also play an important role in shaping students' social behavior through real examples in everyday life and interactive teaching methods. The implications of this research for education are the importance of developing an innovative PAI curriculum, continuous training for PAI teachers, supporting a positive school environment, and involving parents in their children's religious education. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the formation of character and social behavior of students at SMPN 48 Bandung and strengthen understanding of religious values ​​in education.

Challenges and Solutions in Religious Guidance for Converts (muallaf) in Tanjung Beringin, Tanah Karo

This study investigates the primary challenges and potential solutions in the religious guidance of converts (muallaf) in Tanjung Beringin Village, Tanah Karo, North Sumatra. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. This study showed that the absence of continuous religious guidance, combined with the lack of permanent da’i, has weakened the religious understanding and enthusiasm among the converts. Additionally, parental neglect in supporting their children's religious education exacerbates this issue. The study proposes several solutions, including establishing collaborations with Islamic organizations and da'wah institutions to provide alternating da’i, appointing permanent Islamic religious instructors, revitalizing basic Islamic studies, and enhancing parental involvement in religious education. These measures aim to strengthen the religious identity and resilience of the convert community against external influences.

Literature Review of The use of Islamic Educational Games to Increase Interest in Learning and Understanding Islamic Teachings in Children

Islamic religious education in children is an important aspect in the formation of religious values and understanding from an early age. However, teachers and parents often face challenges in attracting children's interest in learning and effectively conveying Islamic teachings. In this context, the use of Islamic educational games promises an innovative approach to increase children's interest in learning and understanding Islamic teachings. This article explores the potential use of Islamic educational games as an effective learning tool in the context of children's religious education. By integrating Islamic values into the game, Islamic educational games are able to provide a fun learning experience while strengthening the understanding of religious teachings. Through a theoretical approach and practical implementation, this article presents arguments that support the use of Islamic educational games as an effective means of improving learning and understanding of Islamic teachings in children.

Improving the Quality of Children's Faith Formation through Catechesis for First Communion Preparation in the Parish with a Holistic Approach

This study aims to evaluate and improve the quality of children's faith formation through catechesis preparation for First Communion in the Parish. The research method is descriptive quantitative, with data collected using surveys through Google Forms. The study population consists of parents or guardians of children preparing for First Communion, with a sample of 23 respondents. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that catechesis activities and children's experiences preparing for First Communion significantly impact the quality of children's faith formation. Most respondents reported positive experiences and perceived improvements in their children's understanding and practice of the Catholic faith. However, factors inhibiting optimal faith formation were also identified, particularly the need for increased parental involvement. The study recommends encouraging parental participation, providing necessary resources and guidance for active engagement in children's religious education. To enhance children's faith formation, collaboration between parents, churches, and catechists is recommended, along with establishing effective communication channels between these stakeholders.

PEMBINAAN PEMANFAATAN PEMBELAJARAN AUDIO VISUAL BAGI KREATIVITAS PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ANAK DI GEREJA BETHEL INDONESIA TABITA LOBAM BINTAN

The aim of this research is to determine the development of the use of audio-visual learning for creativity in children's religious education at the Bethel Indonesia Tabita Lobam Church, Bintan. This research is research in the form of field research or field research is a type of research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the community at the PkM location. The research results obtained in the implementation of coaching on the use of audio-visual media consist of several stages. First, the teacher makes preparations by preparing equipment in the form of a projector, sound system, laptop and children's story CDs. Second, the teacher carries out apperception, such as asking questions about the story they are going to learn. Then, the teacher conditions the children to sit neatly and comfortably, after that the teacher shows a video with a duration of 15 minutes. After that, the teacher and children conduct questions and answers regarding the video that has been presented and give the children worksheets to measure the extent to which the children understand the material presented using audio-visual media. With this audio visual learning media, children are able to: increase interest in learning, motivate them in the learning process, and children get a real picture of the concepts being studied and this becomes an advantage in itself. The inhibiting factors in efforts to maximize the use of visual media are human resources, infrastructure and also less than optimal internet signals

Mixed Catholic-Orthodox Marriage according to Canon Law in Poland

The sacrament of marriage between a Catholic and an Orthodox member of the faithful is treated in canon law as a mixed marriage. However, owing to the doctrinal affinity between the two Churches, marriage is also treated differently than other possible mixed marriages. This, however, does not eliminate the need for compliance with the legal regulations when obtaining the required permission and possibly a dispensation from canonical form. The article focuses on the reasons and possible canonical and pastoral issues that may pose problems in such marriages. Therefore, with the concept of mixed marriage and legal requirements presented, the dangers related to mixed marriage are also indicated – all kinds of spiritual threats to the Catholic party that may be experienced in such a marriage. The potential difficulties include divergent notions of marriage, excessive attachment to one’s own Church, and the danger of religious indifferentism, impediments to worship, difficulties in the religious education of children. The permission of the local ordinary, as prescribed by law, should meet conditions that will help the competent authority to decide a specific case. The article also lists the most common situations that priests may encounter in the case of Catholic-Orthodox marriages, for example: difficulty ascertaining that a person is baptised or single, aversion to the institution of promises on the Catholic or non-Catholic side, expression of the desire to join the Church of the other party.

Patriotic and Religious Education of Children and Young People in the Works of Ewaryst Estkowski

Ewaryst Estkowski (1820–1856) believed that the most important task in the education and upbringing of children is teaching religion, reading, writing, calculation, history, drawing, physical education and geography. He based his specific programme for the patriotic and religious education of young people in elementary school on this principle. He saw learning to read and write as a way to broaden the horizons of the Polish people, learning calculation as a means to fight for their financial well-being, and history and geography as a means to awaken in young people a love for their homeland. He perceived physical education as a source of strength to work for the good of others and the country. The practical use of drawing was to sensitize people to the beauty of their homeland. After finishing their primary school education, pupils were supposed to be good and pious persons, above all, aware of their duties to their family, community, homeland and the Church. Further education was supposed to help develop their ability to think independently and facilitate making good choices. Estkowski believed that if Poles were deprived of the Catholic religion, they would lose their national identity. Parents and teachers, the Church and priests, as well as the community and the nation were to help implement this model of education.

Parent and Child Interaction Models in Islamic-Based Family Education

In the context of Islamic teachings, religious education for children is the main obligation that parents must carry out before teaching children another knowledge. The choices and patterns of parents in educating children in the family are directly correlated with the child's religious habits. In fact, the religious formation of children must be taught as early as possible, in fact these religious habits must begin in the womb. In fact, this research aims to find out how parents and children interact in Islamic-based education. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, data sources were taken through in-depth interviews with seven informants, to strengthen the interview data the author also carried out direct observations to document various activities carried out by parents in educating their children in an Islamic way. All interview and observation data were analyzed using the Milles & Huberman interactive thematic analysis model technique. Research findings found a model of interaction between mother and child in the informant's family, such as putting the family in one system, seeing children as small adults. Models such as the findings of this research can be used as examples by Muslim families in educating and interacting with children

Empowering Islamic Education

The village of Jaharun B was selected as the site for the Community Service Learning program by students from STAI As-Sunnah due to the presence of Al-Barokah Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah, MDTA), which serves as the primary educational center for children in the village. Despite MDTA Al-Barokah's crucial role, most children in Jaharun B Village still require a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and the ability to recite the Quran according to Tajwid rules. The student's participation in the Community Service Learning program is expected to significantly reinforce the role of MDTA Al-Barokah as an educational institution advancing the children of Jaharun B Village in Galang. The method applied in this initiative is asset-based community development, which comprises three main stages: planning, action, and evaluation. The outcomes of this community service project demonstrate notable and positive changes. Children at MDTA Al-Barokah have shown an increased understanding of the fundamentals of Islamic teachings, improved Quranic recitation with better adherence to Tajwid rules, and enthusiasm in the learning process, particularly in comprehending the taught concept of Mahfuzhat. This community service brings renewed hope to the people of Jaharun B Village, fostering positive changes in the religious education of children and strengthening the role of MDTA Al-Barokah as a center for enhanced knowledge and understanding of Islamic teachings for future generations.

Dilemmas Faced by Polish Migrants in the UK Concerning Brexit and Return Migration

This paper presents the results of an original quantitative sociological study conducted in Autumn 2019 on a sample of 620 Polish migrants living in London, Oxford, and Swindon. The study was conducted using a group-administered questionnaire. It was primarily to address the question of whether they intend to return to Poland and when. We identify some significant factors influencing their choices. Those are the length of stay in England, their financial situation, their knowledge of English, their ability to assimilate culturally, their relations to the families in Poland, homesickness, and better religious education of children. Religious issues, although mentioned, are less critical; however, a deeper statistical analysis allows to understand the religious background more broadly, to provide a clearer image of the respondents’ deep motivations.

Parents' Views on the Implementation of TPQ in Increasing Students' Religious Understanding

The rapid development of technology has made parents of students at the Muhajirin Mosque Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ/TQA) in Air Dingin Lubuk Minturun Padang pay less attention to their children's religious education. TPQ/TQA institutions have a very important role for students to recognize the Qur'an and shape students' understanding of religion. This study aims to describe parents' perceptions of the implementation of TPQ/TQA in improving students' religious understanding. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and data analysis. The results showed that the Parents' Views on the Implementation of TPQ / TQA in Improving Religious Understanding are good, it is evidenced by the students' easier understanding of learning and changing behavior so that they become better students, and also motivating students to study harder, besides that, through the implementation of TPQ / TQA students are taught to help each other. This research also reveals that parents are very careful about TPQ/TQA as a place to learn to read and write the Qur'an for their children.

The Relationship Between Parental Attention and Learning Outcomes of Darul Izzah Abai Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an (RTQ) Students, South Solok

This research is suspected by the low learning outcomes of RTQ Darul Izzah Abai Solok Selatan students. This research aims to see: (1) a description of parents' attention to the Darul Izzah Abai South Solok Tahfidz Qur'an (RTQ) house, (2) a picture of the learning outcomes of students at the Darul Izzah Abai South Solok Tahfidz Qur'an (RTQ) house, ( 3) the relationship between parental attention and the learning outcomes of students at the Darul Izzah Abai South Solok Tahfidz Qur'an (RTQ) house. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive correlation research. The population of this study was Darul Izzah students totaling 38 people and 79% were sampled, namely 30 people using cluster random sampling techniques. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage formulas and product moment correlation formulas. The results of the research show that: (1) there is low parental attention, (2) the low learning outcomes of Darul Izzah students seen from the January June 2023 semester exams, (3) there is a significant relationship between parental attention and the learning outcomes of Tahfidz Qur'an home students. (RTQ) Darul Izzah Abai South Solok. It is recommended that: (1) RTQ managers remind parents to pay more attention to their children and support their children's religious education at RTQ; (2) Parents should be able to increase their attention to children's learning activities, both in terms of providing supervision, providing guidance and care. Apart from that, parents should pay attention to their children's education, parents better understand the nature and importance of RTQ in order to fulfill their children's religious education needs; (3) For future researchers to be able to look for other variables related to learning outcomes. Religious Education of Children in Interfaith Family

The phenomenon of religious education for children born and raised in families with parents of different religions, Muslim and non-Muslim, is interesting to study. This field of qualitative research uses a phenomenological approach, aiming to describe the interaction of religion in interfaith families in the context of religious education in the family. Data collection took place from January to March 2023 for participants consisting of 10 families of different religions in Kaloran District, Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. The results of the study show that there are three types of religious interaction in interfaith families. First, parents introduce all their religions to their children. Second, parents teach one religion to their children. Third, parents’ direct religion for their children based on division.

The present article attempts to answer the question of the possibility and pedagogical expediency of harmonizing religious and natural science knowledge in the classroom within the framework of the parish education of children. For quite a long time, natural science knowledge was used as a powerful means of atheistic propaganda and destruction of any thought about faith and religion among the people. At present, there remain difficulties in combining scientific knowledge and religious faith in science and educational practice. As a result of the materialistic approach to teaching natural science subjects at school, the young believers reject the biblical picture of the world offered in Sunday School as contradicting scientific knowledge and suffer from ideological dualism.The purpose of the present work is to substantiate the necessity and value of integrating elements of natural science knowledge into the educational process of Sunday School through effective ways of its implementation. The article reveals the theoretical aspects of the indicated problem and describes practical methods of integrating natural science knowledge into religious education within the framework of parish activity. Such forms of integration as natural science laboratories of a young naturalist, master classes, creative workshops and others are singled out as the most efficient. Basing on the available practical experience, the article presents the real and expected educational effects and highlights the pedagogical conditions that contribute to their achievement.The author expresses the hope that due to the integration of elements of natural science knowledge into the religious education of children, it will be possible to avoid the ideological and religious crisis among teenage schoolchildren and reduce the number of children who abandon the faith planted by parents and teachers and leave the confines of the church.

Pendidikan Agama Berbasis Budaya Lokal Papua Suku Kokoda Di Maibo Kabupaten Sorong Dalam Pengenalan Nilai-Nilai Agama Pada Anak


 The purpose of this research is; firstly, analyzing and describing forms of local culture-based religious education conducted by the Kokoda Tribe, secondly describing the roles of parents, tribal chiefs and mosque imams in designing forms of religious education with a cultural basis and thirdly, analyzing and describing the challenges and opportunities for Kokoda children's religious education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to provide a real picture of religious education in the Kokoda tribe in Maibo. The data collection process uses in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The research results show that; first, the form of religious education of the Kokoda Tribe through the Syawat Tale tradition which contains stories of the Prophets and Apostles. Second, the role of parents and tribal chiefs in designing forms of religious education by upholding personal communication as a form of ethics and manners in interacting with tribal chiefs or people who are elder and respected. Third, the challenge for Kokoda's children's religious education is that there are no proper learning facilities available

Religious Education in the Early Years: An Irish Perspective

Ireland’s education system at primary level is renowned for its lack of diversity, with most schools falling under the patronage of the Catholic Church. This homogeneity of school type is problematic from a number of perspectives, not least the changed demographics in terms of religious affiliation in Ireland. There is a desire for change by all; however, the pace of change is slow. Whilst the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) determines the curriculum for all subject areas in primary schools, this body has no remit over the subject of religious education (RE). The responsibility for the provision of RE has rested with the patrons of schools since the inception of the national school system. This review focuses on the provision of early years’ Catholic RE in schools and pre-schools in the Republic of Ireland. In recent years, the importance afforded to the subject of RE and its status in schools has been eroded. The impact on early childhood religious education of this diminution is outlined. The review also addresses the training and support of teachers to work in the Catholic school sector and concurs with other writers in the field that current programmes of preparation require reform.

Analisis Role-Model Guru PAI Dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Agama Islam Dalam Perspektif Psikologi Pendidikan Islam

Psychology and Islamic education play a role in the world of education, both in learning and in teaching. In everyday life, we find that children's religious behavior is essentially obtained by imitating. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role models of PAI teachers in enhancing Islamic learning from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology. The research approach uses qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN Bhayangkara. The subjects of this research are teachers and students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and data conclusion verification. The results of the study allow it to be concluded that this role model is a positive method in children's religious education. In the process of learning the Islamic religion, students will see and imitate the behavior of their teacher. The application of educational psychology in Islamic learning is through strengthening and punishing. strengthening, for example, with praise, grades, or prizes for students as a reward for their achievements. While the punishment is memorizing or replacing the teacher in front of delivering PAI learning material, Through the application of reinforcement and punishment, it is hoped that it can increase student motivation in learning PAI.
