The article continues the series of publications about the development and designing the construction of cars and their elements in Uralvagonzavod and covers the period from 1949 to 1963. It considers the changes in the construction on side walls and set of new running parts to gondola cars: tieless trolleys of models M-44 and MT-50 and later, trolleys TsNII-X-3. Construction changes of automatic coupling of a node device “central bearing - thrust bearing” are shown. An important part of the period is the use of low-alloy steel 09G2 for the production of a center girder: zet № 31 and beam № 19, and later, to all body bearing components, end doors and manhole covers. Due to the implementation of steel 09G2 it was possible to reduce the fine weight of components almost to one ton of a car. Due to the fine weight reduce of the tar of a gondola car connected to the buffer removal, weight capacity of gondola cars was increased from 60 to 62 tons.
