The study aims to analyze and categorize the pressing issues within the regional system of vocational education and to propose solutions accordingly. The research employs methods such as theoretical comparative analysis of scholarly sources, synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, deduction and synthesis of internet-based resources, and logical content analysis of academic papers and dissertations from the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. These methods are utilized to investigate modern challenges in the regional vocational education system, with a historical perspective spanning from 1981 to 2024. The research results in an analysis of the current issues in regional vocational education, categorized into institutional, individual, and socio-group problems affecting students and teachers, as well as socio-economic challenges within the regional vocational education system and issues related to its development. In conclusion, specific strategies are proposed to address each category of problems, drawing on psychological, pedagogical, and socio-economic advancements within the framework of the regional vocational education system.
