In this article, methods of voice recognition were studied for the development of an intelligent virtual consultant, which plays an important role as an auxiliary tool when working with business process information systems, or rather with an ERP system. This study is intended to describe an intelligent virtual consultant in assessing the usefulness and effectiveness of using real functions in a business process modeling software system for enterprise resource planning (ERP). An intelligent virtual consultant is integrated with a Web-ERP prototype. In this study, natural language processing (NLP) was based using Levenberg Marquardt (LM) and Broyden-Fletcher Goldwarb-Shanno (BFGS) methods with the Mel kepstral frequency coefficients algorithm. A comparative analysis of these methods was also carried out to determine the effectiveness of the methods used. The big advantage of this virtual consultant is the voice input of long text data fields when working in Web-ERP. This system is relevant, as it significantly expands the search for business workflows. The system allows you to convert speech into text by receiving information system (IS) instructions, which, in turn, are transmitted to an ontological database, where a query based on terms is executed to obtain a set of commands available for execution. The introduction of an intelligent virtual consultant not only expands the application’s capabilities for users through the system, but also allows users to interpret data using speech synthesis. This prototype will be used for further research on the integration of intelligent virtual consultant and data analysis.

Multilevel Marketing (MLM) business visualizes a business network into a hierarchical tree consisting of relationships between nodes. In its application, a branch is generated from each node which when visualized becomes a tree with a height that continues to increase and will consume space which will have an impact in terms of less than optimal data access. In order for the tree structure to be formed from relationships between nodes with hierarchically ordered data, and to streamline time in the search and data access process, an MLM business process information system was built by applying the Binary Tree algorithm. The concept in the Binary tree itself is a hierarchical organization of several nodes, where each node has no more than 2. Nodes that are under a node are called children of the node. A node above a node is called the parent of that node. A binary search tree is a search in a binary tree by tracing nodes that are placed in the left branch if the information content sent is smaller than the information at the root, or tracing the right branch if the information content is stated to be greater than the root. The goal is to implement sorted data into the information system in accordance with the hierarchy of the MLM system and in this way data retrieval can be done quickly and easily.

Ameera Store is a company engaged in the distribution of baby products from various kinds of principles, marketing products on credit and cash to customers. Salesmen who work at the Ameera company have an important role in distributing a product to customers. In each order, the sales and admin records data twice. Customer data and visits can only be seen manually by sales. Therefore, it is necessary to process customer data, visit frequency, order goods and billing. Currently, there is no application for salesmen as reminders on every visit, this raises problems in the form of: frequent interchanges between bills and orders, so that visits are not on target and have an impact on reducing sales value and time effectiveness. Therefore, designing a sales visit information system becomes the basis for managing data. The method used is descriptive analytical method by means of interviews, observation and literature study. For the development of information systems applications using the waterfall methodology and modeling the business process information systems using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). The research objective is to produce responsive web-based applications in the distribution process. The application of this system will greatly facilitate and benefit more parties, both sellers and buyers. One of the advantages for the seller or sales is that it is more time efficient because you don't have to go to the admin first to find out the schedule of visits that are adjusted to the status of the bill, whether the customer has made a payment or not. Thus, buyers also feel more helpful because sales visits are right on target. The meaning of right on target is a salesperson visiting because it's time for a bill and a new order is made by the customer or buyer.

The development of the technological world provides for humans in carrying out business transactions. With the existence of business process information systems or can be more efficient and effective. Soto Kudus still uses manual paper records in its business processes, so that data requests are less effective which causes data manipulation, and there are no web-based monitoring charts. By implementing a web-based information system, it is expected to be able to provide convenience in running business processes. The programming language used is using the PHP programming language with a codeigniter framework. For storing data, the author uses Mysqli. The results of this application to facilitate the admin in processing data and facilitating management in monitoring sales data charts, as well as saving paper usage and sales data security

System security management can increase public confidence in the information produced and processed by a company and increase the quality assurance of information. To reduce the threat to the company’s business process information system, there must be an assessment of information system security management needed to support the company’s business processes, especially in the humanitarian foundation, in this case, is “Dompet Dhuafa Foundation.” In the use of information systems, security risks will arise, which will hurt the institution. In order to reduce the negative impact, it is necessary to handle the security risks of the system. ISO / IEC 27001 offers a set of specifications, a code of ethics, and best practice guidelines to ensure the management of IT (Information Technology) services. ISO 27001 is a standard that is often used to determine the need to implement information system security. With the application of ISO / IEC 27001, It can protect aspects of information security, namely confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

An Integrated Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Approach for Evaluating Business Process Information Systems

The prevalence of business-to-business (B2B) has made the relationship among firms more closer than ever. Whether in simple arm-length transactions or business cooperation, many firms, in order to reduce costs and achieve efficiency, have shifted their day-to-day operations from the tradition of relying on manpower to the use of information technology in handling tasks such as inventory, procurement, production planning, distribution, etc. As a result, the need of a business process information system is imminent for firms to coordinate with partners in the supply chain and to be sustainable in the competitive market. This study thus proposes a hybrid multi-criteria decision-making approach for evaluating business process information systems. First, the factors that should be taken into account in selecting an appropriate system are explored. The Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) is adopted next to understand the interrelationships among the criteria. Based on the results from the DEMATEL, the Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) is applied to calculate the importance of the factors. Fuzzy Techniques for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) is used to rank the business process information systems. The interrelationship among the factors should be considered in the decision-making; thus, the FANP can be a recommended methodology. However, the FANP questionnaire is usually very lengthy and cumbersome. The use of DEMATEL in advance can shorten the questionnaire substantially. FTOPSIS is used to rank the alternatives so that the pairwise comparisons of the alternatives required in the FANP can be avoided. Fuzzy set theory is incorporated in the study so that the uncertainty and ambiguity present in decision-making can be considered. The proposed approach can provide references for decision makers for making relevant decisions and can be revised and adopted in similar problems.

Cloud Based Cross-system Integration for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

The usage of information technology (IT) is one of the major factors for ensuring the growth and competitiveness of enterprises, as well as it also benefits the effective knowledge management within the organisation.There are large-scale knowledge management systems (KMS) covering the full functionality for facilitating the effectiveness and productivity of employees. These systems are frequently integrated into other organisation's management systems. But the most of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) cannot afford to use these KMS, and also the full functionality of these KMS is not necessary for them. Thus, the solution is to combine the parts of cloud based knowledge management systems with business process information systems that jointly propel the business core of the enterprise.This paper investigates the architecture of different cloud based solutions for knowledge management to define the possibilities of cross-system integrations.

Beyond Quality: the Information Integrity Imperative

Information Integrity is the dependability and trustworthiness of information. Its determinants are accuracy, consistency and reliability of information. Business organizations are increasingly becoming ‘open systems’ emphasizing information. This makes the business process information system (IS) a multistage decision process involving information origination in the presence of uncertainty. This leads to information errors and, thereby, to loss of Information Integrity at each decision stage. For a business model operating in complex and changing environments, therefore, although quality assurance is vital, it alone is not sufficient to achieve an adequate level of quality. For competitive advantage this error-ridden business IS must process information efficiently and economically. This is possible if and only if the information has integrity.
