TECNOLOGIAS PARA ESTRATIFICAÇÃO DE RISCO PEDIÁTRICO: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA NARRATIVA

Objective: Search for bibliographic reviews on mobile applications for pediatric risk stratification screening. Method: This is a bibliographic review. The investigation was carried out at an Emergency Care Unit (UPA) with the objective of developing a soft-hard technology for nurses in pediatric risk stratification. Results: It was observed that 80 articles were identified, including scientific articles and dissertations, however, a careful reading of the articles was carried out from which, as a result of a careful reading, a selection of 23 articles was obtained, including review articles, repeated articles the articles. which escaped the focus, 4 articles were excluded. In the end, 8 articles were selected. Conclusion: It is concluded that mobile applications are necessary in nursing care, including in the stratification of pediatric care during the nursery, helping to provide better care and clarifying doubts.

HUMANIZAÇÃO NA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM DOS SERVIÇOS DE SAÚDE

This article will address the strategies adopted by nursing for the humanization of health services, understanding the importance of nursing professionals who are on the front line in patient care, the advancement of good care combined with humanization in health was observed. Therefore, this present work will describe the concept of humanization, and will also address the National Humanization Policy that was launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Health with the aim of producing changes in care and care for the patient through empathy, good communication and the relationship between the caregiver and the one being assisted. The objective of this research is to present the strategies used by nursing in the process of welcoming and humanization. The methodology of this research chosen was the bibliographic review, involving some steps, contributing to a good analysis, establishing the theoretical basis, the theme, the role of the nurse in the humanization of health services. In view of this, an analysis of articles published since 2015 was carried out to obtain information related to the research theme, so 20 articles were analyzed, but only 15 were chosen because the others had irrelevant information. However, it is necessary to share the importance of humanizing health, as there are still cases of poor care and poorly qualified professionals in several health establishments.

VIOLÊNCIA OBSTÉTRICA CONTRA MULHERES NEGRAS:IMPACTOS NA SAÚDE MATERNA

Obstetric violence is a form of abuse that occurs in healthcare services, involving physical, verbal abuse, and neglect, often perpetrated by healthcare professionals. This violence has an even greater impact on Black women in Brazil, who face additional barriers to accessing prenatal care and maternity services. General Objective: To highlight how obstetric violence directly affects the lives of these women, causing emotional, physical, and maternal trauma. Methodology: This study is a bibliographic review that investigates obstetric violence, with a special focus on the experiences of Black women. The research was based on scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024, collected from databases such as BVS and SCIELO. The selection of articles included the analysis of titles, abstracts, and full readings of the texts, aiming to gather relevant information for the proposed review. Results: Obstetric violence is recognized as a serious public health issue in Brazil, where the lack of clear management policies hinders reporting and perpetuates the vulnerability of women. This situation highlights the urgent need for increased social awareness, as well as investments in the education and training of healthcare professionals, to prevent this form of violence and ensure respect for women's rights.

AS TEORIAS SOCIOLÓGICAS CRIMINOLÓGICAS E SEUS REFLEXOS NO DIREITO PENAL: UM ESTUDO COMPARATIVO DASTEORIAS DO CONFLITO E DO CONSENSO

This work analyzes the intersection between consensus theory and conflict theory in the context of criminal law, highlighting its main characteristics and practical implications. The justification for choosing this topic lies in the need to understand how these theories influence the formulation of criminal laws and the treatment of criminals in a society marked by social inequalities. The objectives include examining the divergences and similarities between both approaches, as well as discussing their implications for criminal justice. The methodology used was a bibliographic review of fundamental works by authors such as Quinney, Zaffaroni and Foucault, aiming for an in-depth understanding of the theories. The main results indicate that, although consensus and conflict theories present opposing views on the role of criminal law, they also share similarities that can contribute to the construction of a fairer criminal system. It is concluded that integrating elements from both approaches can provide a more comprehensive understanding of social dynamics and the effectiveness of criminal laws, favoring the protection of human rights and social inclusion.

MÍDIA E PROCESSO PENAL: A INFLUÊNCIA DA COBERTURA MIDIÁTICA NAS DECISÕES JUDICIAIS E AS VIOLAÇÕES AOS PRINCÍPIOS CONSTITUCIONAIS

The media coverage in the Brazilian criminal justice system, especially in the Jury Court, has raised concerns about the impartiality of judicial decisions by interfering with the fundamental rights of defendants. This study aims to analyze the influence of the media on the criminal process, highlighting violations of constitutional principles such as due process, the presumption of innocence, the right to a fair trial, and the right to a broad defense. The impact of public opinion pressure, often fueled by sensationalist media coverage of high-profile cases, is discussed in the context of the impartiality of jurors. The main objective is to propose strategies to mitigate this media interference, including jury sequestration, precise guidance for jurors, and the implementation of measures like "gag orders." The research adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach, based on bibliographical review and the analysis of a concrete case, the Nardoni Case, to illustrate the effects of media on the criminal process. The study suggests that, although it is difficult to completely eliminate media influence, the adoption of effective measures can contribute to ensuring a fairer and more transparent trial, respecting the constitutional rights of the defendants.

IMPLANTES DENTÁRIOS INSTALADOS EM PACIENTES PORTADORES DO VIRUS DA IMUNODEFICIENCIA HUMANA (HIV)

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) compromises the immune system and, as it progresses, causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), characterized by the emergence of opportunistic infections. Transmission occurs mainly through sexual contact or via blood and, in Brazil, between 1980 and 2022, more than 1 million cases of AIDS were recorded. Regarding implantology, patients with HIV face oral complications such as gingivitis and candidiasis, and although the impact of osseointegrated implants in these patients is not yet entirely clear, prior evaluation of bone health and conditions is essential. This research aims to describe the care in the osseointegration process in HIV-positive patients, investigating the possible complications and the importance of biosafety, in addition to highlighting the relevance of treatment to improve the quality of life of these patients. The methodology used was the bibliographic review, using articles published between 2012 and 2022 in Portuguese. Oral rehabilitation with dental implants in HIV-positive patients has gained importance due to the increase in life expectancy provided by antiretroviral therapy. These patients, with an improved quality of life, are looking for viable options to replace missing teeth, with dental implants being an attractive alternative. Although the literature on the topic is limited, the results indicate that the success rates of implants in patients with HIV are similar to those of healthy patients, as long as the treatment considers the immune status. However, specific care is needed, such as monitoring for possible complications resulting from the continuous use of antiretrovirals, which can cause liver and kidney problems. Additionally, strict biosafety protocols are essential to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare providers. Further research is recommended to clarify outstanding issues and improve pre- and postoperative care, providing more predictable outcomes and greater safety in treatment with osseointegrated implants.

A DIFICULDADE DAS CRIANÇAS COM TEA NAS CRECHES PÚBLICAS

The adversities related to the teaching of children with autism spectrum disorder are derived from an inefficient preparation of the basic educational system, mainly of municipal day care centers. The objective of this study is to analyze the obstacles faced by children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Brazilian day care centers according to the pillars of special education and inclusive processes. Methodologically, an exploratory and documentary bibliographic review was used through a qualitative research based on works, texts and scientific articles by the following authors: Camargo (2020), Rosa e Eugênio (2020), Perin (2015) , Zaqueu et al. (2015), Andrade (2018), Silva (2016), ECA (1990), Brasil (1988), Mariano (2019), Fernandes (2021), Mariano (2019), Severo (2017), and Zanon et al. (2015). It was found, therefore, that continuing education is essential for education professionals to remain able to accompany children with ASD during the first student day at day care centers and preschools. Similarly, the role of psychopedagogy is given by the simultaneous understanding between the interaction of these students and the need for primary attention to each of their abilities and limitations.

A IMPORTÂNCIA DE ATIVOS NATURAIS NAS FORMULAÇÕES DE SKINCARE

INTRODUCTION: This study investigates the effectiveness of natural products in skincare beyond their aesthetic function, exploring their therapeutic properties for skin care. The analysis focuses on active ingredients such as Aloe Vera and essential oils from the Amazon, highlighting their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing benefits for individualized treatments. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of natural active ingredients in cosmetics such as skincare, exploring their benefits beyond aesthetics. METHODOLOGY: This study presents an integrative bibliographic review on skincare and natural products, analyzing articles from 2020 to 2024 in databases such as BVS, PubMed, Google Scholar and Web of Science. Five relevant articles were selected to develop a review framework, focusing on the potential of cosmetics with natural products in adjuvant treatments in skincare. RESULTS: This study reviewed cosmetic formulations with natural products, focusing on their pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties to enhance aesthetic and therapeutic benefits, especially in combating skin aging and treating acne. six articles were analyzed that highlighted active ingredients such as Aloe Vera and cocoa extract, proving their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing effects. CONCLUSION: The conclusion highlights that a skin care routine with natural cosmetics, such as Centella Asiatica and Aloe Vera, can prevent premature aging and treat conditions such as acnes, due to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

STALKING E CYBERSTALKING CONTRA A MULHER

In contemporary society, there has been a significant increase in the crime of stalking, resulting in the emergence of a new form of cyberstalking. The crime of stalking is characterized as an obsessive and repetitive pursuit directed at a person, with the intention of causing fear, anguish or disruption in their daily life. In the digital context, cyberstalking involves the use of the internet and communication technologies to perpetuate this same type of persecution, expanding its reach and impact. The article focuses on women, who are the main victims of this violence. Although anyone can be both the perpetrator and the victim of stalking, the central issue to be explored will be: to assess what are the factors that contribute to women being the main victims of stalking and cyberstalking? This scientific article has the general objective of analyzing the practices of persecution, known as stalking, and its virtual variant, cyberstalking, with an emphasis on the impact of these forms of violence on the dignity and psychological well-being of female victims. Furthermore, the article investigates how the Maria da Penha Law can be applied in stalking and cyberstalking situations, assessing the effectiveness of these legal protections. The specific objective includes addressing social, cultural and psychological factors that explain this disparity, in addition to examining the consequences faced by women, ranging from psychological suffering to the impact on their personal and professional relationships. The article also investigates how this legislation has been used to prevent and combat psychological and physical violence resulting from obsessive stalking, in addition to identifying possible gaps in the legal protection offered to victims. This article used a deductive and descriptive approach, based on a comprehensive bibliographic review of public documents, books, scientific articles and online sources. The results show that current laws are insufficient to adequately address the problems of stalking and cyberstalking.

ATUAÇÃO DO FARMACÊUTICO NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA A SAÚDE

Primary health care is essential in the organization of health systems, functioning as the gateway to health services and the main point of contact between users and the system. Within this context, the pharmacist plays a primary and active role in promoting health and preventing diseases, offering guidance on the correct use of medications, preventing problems associated with them and promoting healthy habits. This involvement occurs both at the individual level, through personalized counseling for patients, and at the community level, through educational and health awareness initiatives. In this way, the pharmacist demonstrates his versatility as a health agent, adapting to the specific needs of each population served in primary care. Investigate the importance of the pharmacist’s role in primary health care and its impacts on health promotion and disease prevention. Exploratory and comparative bibliographic review based on qualitative research. Investments in continuing education, development of policies and guidelines that promote their integration into the health team and strengthening interprofessional collaboration were recommended. It was concluded that the role of the pharmacist in primary health care is essential for promoting the health of the population and strengthening the health system as a whole. Its comprehensive and multifaceted role demands recognition, appreciation and continuous investment to ensure that it can continue to play its role efficiently, benefiting a healthier and more resilient society.

FAGOTERAPIA COMO ALTERNATIVA NO COMBATE A INFECÇÕES RESISTENTES: AVANÇOS E DESAFIOS NO TRATAMENTO DE E. COLI UPEC E EPEC

Resistant bacterial infections represent one of the biggest public health challenges today, resulting in a significant increase in morbidity and mortality linked to infectious diseases. On the other hand, Escherichia coli stands out as one of the most significant bacteria, particularly the uropathogenic (UPEC) and enteropathogenic (EPEC) variants. Infections caused by these strains have become a problem due to their ability to develop resistance to various antibiotics, thus harming therapeutic alternatives. The objective of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of phage therapy as an alternative in combating resistant bacterial infections, focusing on UPEC and enteropathogenic EPEC strains of Escherichia coli. Methodologically, it was an exploratory and comparative bibliographic review through qualitative research. As a result, it was found that future directions in phage therapy present a promising outlook, full of technological innovations, research needs and ethical considerations. The success of phage therapy as a viable alternative to treating resistant bacterial infections will depend on collaboration between different disciplines, careful consideration of ethical implications, and a commitment to ensuring that new technologies benefit society as a whole. The development of robust guidelines and regulations, along with increased public awareness, will be critical to the effective integration of phage therapy into clinical practice and public health. It was concluded that progress in this area represents a response to the bacterial resistance crisis, as it opens up new perspectives for biomedical research and clinical practice. Therefore, the continued engagement of researchers, health professionals and policy makers will be essential to ensure that phage therapy is established as an integral component in the fight against bacterial infections, benefiting public health in a broad and effective way.

SUPERLOTAÇÃO DOS SERVIÇOS DE EMERGÊNCIA: IMPLICAÇÕES PARA A SEGURANÇA DO PACIENTE E PARA O TRABALHO DA EQUIPE DE SAÚDE

Introduction: Overcrowding in emergency services is a reality that is likely to worsen, making it necessary to implement measures to ensure patient safety in the care provided. Objective: To describe the implications of overcrowding for patient safety and the work/daily routine of the healthcare team. Methodology: This is a bibliographic review article in which an exploratory, qualitative approach was used. The search for articles, theses, dissertations, book chapters was conducted in databases such as Lilacs BDNF, Medline, Scielo, and university repositories containing scientific journals. Publications were sought that addressed the topic in Portuguese, within the period of 2015 to 2024. The results yielded 34 articles related to the topic, of which 12 were selected for this study, in addition to the book by the Joint Commission International (JCI), “Managing Patient Flow: Strategies and Solutions for Overcoming Overcrowding.” Results and Discussion: It is well known that patient safety is a globally discussed topic and a recurring requirement for institutions undergoing accreditation processes. In this context are healthcare professionals, who, due to the nature of their work, are subject to committing/experiencing adverse events within their professional environment. Final Considerations: The consequences of overcrowding bring numerous implications for the work of healthcare professionals and for patient safety, such as reduced quality of care, exhaustion of healthcare professionals, increased risk of infections, inequality in access to care, impact on the efficiency of the healthcare system, and increased costs, making it a critical challenge for both public and private healthcare systems.

VIOLÊNCIA INSTITUCIONAL: DESIGUALDADES RACIAIS NO ATENDIMENTO HOSPITALAR A MULHERES NEGRAS: REVISÃO DE LITERATURA.

ABSTRACT: Institutional violence in the healthcare sector is manifested through racial inequalities that disproportionately affect Black women in hospital care. This study aims to review the existing literature on the barriers faced by these women, such as limited access to services, lower quality of care, and resulting psychological impacts. The research seeks to analyze how institutional racism affects hospital care for Black women, identifying the main factors that perpetuate these inequalities and their consequences for physical and mental health. The methodology includes a bibliographic review of studies published between 2016 and 2023, obtained from databases such as SciELO, PubMed, and LILACS, with an emphasis on the impact of institutional racism on the health of the Black population, with a primary focus on Black women.

Propuesta de lineamientos generales para la gestión del conocimiento en bibliotecas infantiles

The objective of this research is to present a proposal for general guidelines for knowledge management in children’s libraries, taking as reference the experience of the academic activity of the School of Library Science, Documentation and Information (EBDI) of the National University (UNA) of Costa Rica with the name of the Miriam Álvarez Brenes Children’s Library (BIMAB) in the period between January 2018 and June 2020. This study had a qualitative approach and was explanatory; data collection was done primarily through bibliographic review and experiences obtained in the management of this academic activity. As main results and conclusions, it is possible to highlight the definition of a series of general guidelines for knowledge management that can be related and adjusted to the context of any children’s library; so, general guidance is provided for the continuous improvement of management processes of the information unit and to facilitate access and democratization of information products and services for its community of users.

INFLUENCE OF FLUORIDE ON PUBLIC HEALTH AND WORKER’S HEALTH – LITERATURE REVIEW

Dental caries is a multifactorial disease that affects a large part of the world's population. Can be prevented by various means and methods, including the use of fluoridated mouthwashes, topical fluoride, fluoridated toothpaste and fluoridation of public water supplies for human consumption. Fluoride has been shown to be a therapeutic agent that modulates dental caries. Frequent contact between patients and small concentrations of fluoride hinders demineralization and activates remineralization, in addition to inhibiting cariogenic microorganisms. The oral health of workers is directly related to the health of the population, since they are part of this context and suffer from the same problems that occur in the environment in which they live. Since workers are the agents who convert work activity into profits for the employer, a detailed and complete vision addressing prevention is extremely important, as this is a way to reduce absenteeism and keep workers in their jobs, achieving better performance of their activities. This bibliographic review aims to analyze fluoride in its various forms and evaluate its anti-cariogenic power for workers, with the aim of preventing cavities and providing well-being, quality of life and greater productivity to them. Based on the data analyzed, it is concluded that fluoride is an effective and inexpensive measure to prevent the appearance of cavities and that due to the large size of Brazil and its socioeconomic difficulties, fluoridated toothpaste associated with assisted brushing, with topical fluoride applications, prove to be the best measures to prevent cavities and absenteeism, consequently improving public health indices. This is one of the most relevant public policies, which is in fact underestimated and which can change the reality of Brazil, reducing high government costs and promoting the quality of life of the population, which suffers from oral problems, which can affect the entire organism, causing a series of other ailments, which should be avoided by adopting preventive measures on a permanent basis.

How to build an agribusiness giant: the role of rural extension services in Brazil during the 20th Century

In this article, we argue that Brazil’s ‘exporting vocation’ is not a natural tendency but the result of national political and economic projects aligned with the international context and external interests. To support this thesis, we reconstructed the trajectory of rural extension services during the 20th century in three distinct phases, according to the official philosophical and pedagogical perspectives adopted in each. Based on extensionist reports and an interdisciplinary bibliographical review, our objective is to present the sociopolitical and economic panorama along with the motivations, general characteristics, and consequences of the extension service in establishing Brazil as an agribusiness giant. We conclude that rural extension services assisted rural and agrarian development that favoured the agrarian elite in the concentration of land, resources, and knowledge. It also consolidated agribusiness as an intensely active political category at all levels of Brazilian government.

O PAPEL DO PROFISSIONAL DE ENFERMAGEM NA ATENÇÃO A CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Among the professionals involved in the health care of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), nurses stand out as the first to establish contact, maintaining significant proximity with this patient. However, the theme of nursing care aimed at childhood autism is still little disseminated in the scientific community and in the practice of nursing professionals, especially when the focus is the mental health of children and adolescents with ASD. The objective of this study is to investigate the fundamental role of nursing professionals in the care of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with an emphasis on promoting the mental health of both these individuals and those who live directly with them. To this end, a qualitative and descriptive research was carried out based on a systematic bibliographic review using the descriptors “Autism Spectrum Disorder”, “Nursing”, “Mental health”, "Child", "Adolescent" in the scientific platforms Google Scholar, PUBMED, LILACS, SCIELO and MEDLINE. A total of 1,098 articles were identified, of which 1,090 were obtained from the Google Scholar database, 4 from MEDLINE, 3 from SCIELO, 1 from PUBMED and none from LILACS. Of this total, 28 were considered eligible after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A huge gap was found in Brazilian research regarding the promotion of mental health of children and adolescents with ASD by nursing professionals. Therefore, it is considered urgent to conduct scientific studies that offer nurses more knowledge about ASD, helping them to develop a critical, analytical and humanized perspective.

USO DA BIOLOGIA MOLECULAR NA PRODUÇÃO DE NOVOS MEDICAMENTOS

INTRODUCTION: Molecular biology, by acting in the development of biotechnological drugs, such as Zidovudine and Sofosbuvir, offers significant innovations in modern pharmacology, providing more specific and effective therapies for complex diseases. These drugs, although promising, still face challenges related to high costs and limited accessibility. The field is constantly evolving, seeking to improve the specificity and sensitivity of therapies for better prognoses. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To explore the applications of molecular biology in the production of new drugs and its impact on the creation of personalized treatments. METHODOLOGY: This work is a qualitative, exploratory bibliographic review, which analyzes 7 articles published between 2020 and 2024 on molecular biology correlated to drug development. The research used databases such as BVS, DrugBank, PubMed and others, applying rigorous criteria for their selection. RESULTS: This study analyzes the potential of molecular biology for the development of new drugs, highlighting techniques such as PCR, DNA sequencing and CRISPR/Cas9. A review highlights the importance of these approaches in personalizing therapies and identifying molecular targets, in addition to discussing the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of drugs. Advances in molecular pharmacology offer new opportunities for more targeted and specific treatments with several drugs in complex diseases. CONCLUSION: The integrative review highlighted the importance of molecular biology techniques, such as DNA sequencing, PCR and CRISPR/Cas9, in drug development and personalized medicine, demonstrating their effectiveness in the treatment of genetic and infectious diseases. It is urgent to carry out new studies to explore the interactions of these technologies and their clinical applications, evolving towards better pharmacological treatments.

Cardiovascular surgery and the importance of dental consultation

Introduction: A health system is based on meeting the needs of the population, which presents cultural and social differences when defining these needs and health-related problems and when using available health care services.Methods: A bibliographic review was conducted using the terms "health system", "dental consultation", "cardiovascular surgery" to search databases.Development: Valve surgery involves a comprehensive patient care process that covers from the request to leaving the surgical center, with the aim of providing information, comfort and safety. This process includes several phases such as surgical indication and presurgical evaluation, whose purpose is to identify risk factors and optimize perioperative care to reduce morbidity and mortality.Conclusions: The oral cavity can contribute to the development of pathologies such as caries and periodontal disease, which are risk factors for cardiovascular conditions. Infective endocarditis (IE), a bacterial infection of the heart valves, may be associated with oral foci in 10-20% of cases. For this reason, organizations such as the American Heart Association recommend dental consultation before valve surgery to minimize risks.

From Software Management to Software Ecosystem Governance: A Bibliographic Review on Software Governance Practices Within Organizations and Their Evolution

Objective: The objective of this study is to map the publications that deal with IT Governance and the main aspects of Software development, acquisition and maintenance, identifying when the concepts related to software governance emerged and the main search sources for publications on the subject, highlighting the central issues of each of the emerging contexts. Theoretical Framework: A theoretical framework was used on the organizational structure of IT governance areas, focused on directing, analyzing and monitoring software development, differentiating the typical management activities designed by Juiz and Colomo-Palacios (2020). Method: The methodology adopted for this research comprises a qualitative-quantitative approach, using bibliometrics, bibliographic analysis and the application of a fractional authorship algorithm to identify the main authors to publish on the topic. Data collection was done using a set of search databases such as the Web of Science database and the Scopus database. Results and Discussion: The results obtained revealed the main authors identified in each of the databases searched, as well as the central themes of the searched themes, indicating the first appearance of each term and its main article. It is also possible to analyze the academic production related to each of these themes. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research indicate fields of research that have become popular, bringing perspectives for future work, as well as fields that are being poorly explored in software development governance and management. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the area of ​​Information Technology management as the main themes studied in governance and management of software development formalize essential concepts for these fields of research and promote process improvement.
