Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is a system designed to facilitate, streamline, and control one's work. With the existence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), it will make the stages in the implementation of an activity run properly and correctly, so that it can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations. PT. Nusatama Berkah, Tbk does not yet have Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in each department, so there is often miscommunication between employees and departments that causes the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations still not maximized. A study on the role of implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations at PT. Nusatama Berkah, Tbk aims to know the importance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each organization. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with Data Collection Techniques with interviews, assistance, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that it is necessary to recommend Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each department with good assistance in its production. The performance of employees has improved since the availability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), so the availability and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each organization or company is said to be essential for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's operations.

Exploring the logistics and supply chain services of HIV/AIDS facilities in north-western Nigeria

This study aimed to assess the logistics services of HIV/AIDS facilities in the northwestern states of Nigeria, with a particular focus on the National HIV/AIDS Supply Chain Unification Project. The project aimed to streamline the distribution of antiretroviral drugs, HIV rapid test kits, and co-trimoxazole by establishing a coordinated axial storage location for all healthcare facilities providing HIV/AIDS services in Nigeria. A field visit was conducted, covering hospitals under the Supply Chain Unification Project in the Phase 4 region, which includes Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara States. Fourteen (14) assessors visited one hundred and four (104) health facilities comprising thirty-nine (39) providing comprehensive care sites and sixty-nine (69) sites providing Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission (PMTCT) services. An adapted Logistics Indicators Assessment Tool (LIAT) was administered. Data were collated and entered into the pre-designed database on Microsoft (MS) Access. The significant gaps identified during this research included inadequately trained personnel, low levels of availability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manuals, a dearth of firefighting gadgets, and non-use of Personal Computers (PCs) and internet availability for transmission of reports. All these require urgent attention from stakeholders in most of the sites visited. Findings were documented, with follow-up actions to be implemented as appropriate. Findings and recommendations have been communicated to the government, implementing partners, and sub-recipients supporting the facilities. It is expected that the findings from these visits will be used in developing appropriate solutions/next steps to improve the HIV/AIDS commodities supply chain management in the country.

PELATIHAN DAN PENERAPAN CHSE DAN K3 BAGI PENGELOLA OBJEK WISATA PEMANDIAN AIR PANAS PADANG GANTING

Padang Ganting Hot water springs, Tanah Datar regency has experienced a drastic increase in tourist visits in 3 years. Although the problem faced is that visitors often faint due to soaking in hot water and there are even some who are found dead after soaking in hot springs. In addition, visitors' neglect of health protocols in the context of preventing the transmission of Covid-19 while in the bathing area is also a problem that cannot be ruled out. This is exacerbated by the lack of information provided at the bathing location and the incompetence of the management officers in carrying out their respective duties, thereby risking the safety of visitors. Especially now that we are in the Adaptation of New Habits to fight the spread of the Coronavirus, no preventive action has been taken at this tourist attraction which refers to the Covid health protocol. The purpose of this activity is to increase the manager's understanding of K3 and CHSE (cleanliness, health, safety, and environment) at the Padang Ganting Hot Springs tourist attraction. The method of implementing this service activity begins with an initial survey in the field and then continues with Focus Group Discussion activities then training related to the implementation of CHSE (cleanliness, health, safety, environment), installation of occupational safety and health signs and signs calling for the application of CHSE and ends with monitoring and mentoring both directly and online at this tourist attraction. The result of this activity is that managers understand and implement CHSE, the availability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at Padang Ganting hot springs, and the installation of occupational safety and health signs (OSH) and the installation of signboards an appeal for the application of CHSE in Padang Ganting hot springs. So, can avoid the risk of visitors fainting and even dying while soaking in the Padang Ganting Hot Springs.

PKM Pendampingan Penyusunan Standar Pelayanan Publik Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19 DI Desa Candinegara Kecamatan Pekuncen Kabupaten Banyumas

Special service standards for pandemic conditions must be made considering the importance of the safety of service providers and beneficiaries of public services. The legal basis for regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic disaster and Ministry of Health regulations that require the implementation of the COVID-19 protocol. Security and safety guarantees can be applied very strictly to avoid transmission. The preparation of SOPs can serve as a guideline to anticipate various unexpected situations that will be faced by the company (service offices), as well as a reference for carrying out work. In addition, SOPs can also be used as a legal basis in the event of irregularities in the company/public service provider.This Community Partnership Program is implemented on the basis of the urgent needs of partners to be able to realize public services in accordance with government regulations. One of them is the availability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) during the Covid-19 Pandemic for public services at the Candinegara Village Village Office, Pekuncen District, Banyumas Regency. The stages of assistance carried out are First, socializing the importance of the availability of SOPs for public services during a pandemic. Partners are given material related to the importance of the availability of Public Service SOPs during a pandemic. Second, training and assistance in the preparation of public service SOPs during a pandemic. Partners are given material related to the steps and stages of preparing the SOP for Public Services during the pandemic. Third, training and mentoring on strategies for formulating SOPs for public services during a pandemic that is effective and efficient. Partners are given material related to the strategy for formulating an effective and efficient SOP for Public Services during a pandemic.The results obtained from this community partnership program activity are the availability of a Public Service Standard Guide during the Covid-19 Pandemic in the form of Standard Operating Procedures. The SOP will later be used in the implementation of public service activities at the Candinegara Village Village Office, Pekuncen District, Banyumas Regency.

EVALUASI MUTU PELAYANAN KEFARMASIAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI RUMAH SAKIT SANTA ANNA KOTA KENDARI

Quality is compliance with predefined standards or following the requirements. Minimum Service Standards health in hospitals is very important to measure the hospital's performance of health services. This study aims to describe the quality of service at the Pharmacy Installation at Santa Anna Hospital, Kendari City during the Covid-19 pandemic based on five indicators of minimum pharmaceutical service standards are waiting time for drug services, the absence of errors in drug administration, writing prescriptions according to the formulary, patient satisfaction and availability of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). This study is observational research which is descriptive used cross sectional design. The sample was outpatients for 90 samples at Santa Anna Hospital, Kendari City, who fulfill the inclusion criteria. Instruments used questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. The results showed that the indicator of waiting time for concocted drugs and non-concocted drugs was 8 minutes and 4 minutes, respectively. There was no error in administering medications (100%). The suitability of prescription writing to the National Formulary was 99.73%, patient satisfaction to tangible dimensions and reliability dimensions were 82.23% and 84.84%, respectively. The responsiveness dimension was 79.65%, the assurance dimension was 83.54%, and the empathy dimension was 85.48%, and the availability of the standard operating procedure was 63.64%. This study's pharmacy installation at Santa Anna Hospital in Kendari City has not fulfilled the predetermined Minimum Service Standards.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Palliative Care in German Comprehensive Cancer Centers - an evaluation of the implementation status

BackgroundThe working group for palliative medicine within the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) network funded by the German Cancer Aid in Germany has developed and published 14 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for palliative care in CCCs. This study analyzed to what extent these SOPs have been implemented in the clinical routine in the CCC network one year after their publication.MethodsAn online-based survey on the implementation status, limitations in daily practice and further themes was conducted between April and July 2018. In total, 125 health professionals in specialized palliative care from all 16 CCC locations were invited to participate. The data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS.ResultsThe response rate was 52.8%. More than half of the respondents (57.6%) knew about the free availability of SOPs on the CCC network website. The extent to which each SOP was being used actively in practice by the survey respondents ranged from a low of 22.7% (for the “Fatigue” SOP) to a highest of 48.5% (for the “Palliative Sedation” and “Respiratory Distress” SOPs). The respondents became aware of the SOP through recommendations from colleagues, team meetings or from the head of the department. The SOPs “Respiratory distress of an adult palliative patient” and “Palliative sedation” were perceived as the most practically oriented and understandable. Barriers to use SOPs were mainly limited time resources and lack of knowledge of existence and availability.ConclusionsIn practice, better knowledge about the SOPs and at the same time increased use can be achieved through systematic training or discussion of SOPs in regular team meetings. There is a need to take measures to optimize the implementation in clinical practice.

PERSYARATAN LABORATORIUM LINGKUNGAN DAN KONDISINYA DI INDONESIA

The level of environmental quality is indicated by how much the pollutants enter into and stay in it, that is whether they are still below or already above the regulated pollutants standard. In knowing pollutant concentration in the environment, pollutantmeasurement must be done by employing appropriate instrument and using qualified/ certified operator. Therefore, the role of environmental laboratory is crucial in preparing instrumentation, operator, as well as standard operating procedure (SOP) in order for sampling and analysis of pollutants to work properly and result qualified data. This type of laboratory is strongly determined by how the laboratory is operated with the standard mechanism, called good laboratory practice (GLP). GLP will be met by the laboratory that owns the current state of the art instrumentation, capability and experience of the operator/analyst in conducting sampling and analysis, availability of SOP, capability to control thequality (Quality Control) and to assure the quality (Quality Assurance) of its work and the results. Some of laboratory in Indonesia has received certification from National Committee on Acreditation (KAN). However, the granted certification from the KAN must be first checked whether it is for all or part of the laboratory capabilities. Second, whether during the analysis it is already checked the accuracy and preciseness of the instrument employed. Unlike in developed countries, this type of such check has not so far been done in Indonesia. In term of QualityAssurance, the institution that grants the laboratory certification, for example KAN in Indonesia, will send blind samples to targeted laboratory to analyze how much the concentration of certain pollutants detected by this laboratory. Third, whether the operators have strongly followed the existing SOP. Thus, in order to operate laboratory in a right procedure and accuracy, a lot of work must be done carefully in order to result a qualified data. This paper is going to describe and to evaluate how the environmental laboratory is operated and how their condition in Indonesia.
