The Role of Principal Leadership Management as a Driving Force in Implementing the Independent Curriculum Using AI

In the millennial era, characterized by constant change and progress, schools that thrive possess specific qualities and characteristics. Education not only functions as a place to transfer knowledge but also as a place to develop students' skills, character, and critical thinking abilities. In this increasingly complex world, educational institutions must adapt curricula and teaching methods that are relevant and able to meet students' diverse needs. Schools that innovate and provide captivating learning experiences will be better able to attract the attention of students and parents. In addition, educational institutions must realize the importance of building an identity and characteristics that distinguish them from other schools. This includes developing superior programs, adequate facilities, and a positive and supportive learning environment. This study investigates the role of principal leadership in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum while integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in a kindergarten/early childhood education environment. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores the experiences of a principal and staff at TK IT Tunas Mulia. Findings indicate that principals play a critical role in fostering a culture of innovation and adaptation to AI, providing the necessary training and resources for teachers to utilize AI tools effectively, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. However, the study has identified challenges such as limited teacher proficiency in AI and the need for more comprehensive AI-integrated curriculum materials. While principal leadership plays a critical role, the study concludes that further support and professional development are necessary to fully harness the potential of AI in improving early childhood education.

Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Setingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental parenting on students' interest in learning at the high school level in Indonesia. The role of educators is not only the responsibility of teachers at school, parents have an important role to support children's education when outside of school. Effective and efficient parenting has a great influence on students' interest in learning, at school students receive education and at home students actualize what they have received, the role of parents is important to provide the right response so that it is able to increase the motivation of students' interest in learning. The urgency of parental parenting for children, especially for high school students who are in adulthood. Thus, the form of parental attention to their children in education is not only in material form, but must be balanced with parental attention that is given directly, not only the provision of facilities that support education. But also, motivate children in learning, accompany them, ask questions, help solve problems faced and so on. This study applies a literature review method through analysis of various relevant scientific sources. The results of the study revealed that parental parenting has a real contribution to increasing students' interest in learning, especially students at the high school level. The influence of parental parenting has an important role because it can encourage the emergence of students' self-awareness in learning. Parents are expected to be able to create and maintain a supportive environment in increasing students' interest in learning in order to achieve learning with maximum results.

Influence of Parental Attitudes Towards Girls Regular School Attendance in Public Secondary Schools in Morogoro Municipality, Tanzania

The study was designed to examine the factors influencing parental attitudes towards girls' regular school attendance in public secondary schools in Morogoro Municipality, Tanzania. The study was guided by feminism theory based on the framework of gender relations. The study employed descriptive research design. Purposive sampling and simple random were used to determine the sample size from the target population for the study. The content validity of instruments was assured while reliability of the data collection tool was tested using Cronbach coefficient correlation for consistence. Internal consistence of items in the questionnaire was established at r=0.871. The quantitative data was analyzed by using descriptive statistical through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 25. While qualitative data was analyzed thematically. The study revealed that, lack of parental attention on their daughters’ education at home, early pregnancy and or marriages, cultural dance such as “vigodoro”, household chores and activities, tendencies of parents not to encourage girl-child education, poor parent’s education and security concern for girls were the major factors that hindered girls from attending school regularly. The study also found that, other factors apart from the socio-cultural factors included, level of the education of parents, parents’ occupation, missing parents, negative attitudes on girls’ education and long distance to school played a significant role in hindering girls from attending school regularly. The study proposed several remedial measures such as construct of girls’ hostel, establishment and or promoting gender equality policies and enhancing girls’ educational opportunities be put in place to facilitate girls’ regular school attendance. It was recommended that, advocating for the policy reforms to support gender equity in education, revising the current policy of fee-free education to be relevant with parent’s economic status and creating supportive school environments would support female students regular school attendance. Community engagement and the awareness campaigns could shift societal attitudes and foster parental support for girls' education. It was concluded that, addressing the socio-cultural factors and economic barriers is crucial for ensuring equitable access to education for girls in public secondary schools

Pengaruh Komunikasi dalam Keluarga terhadap Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor

Communication in the family is important to create good relationships between family members. Lack of communication and parental attention can affect the learning motivation of 4th and 6th semester students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting study program, Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed to 67 student respondent. The data analysis technique uses a simple linear regression test and the (t) test. The results of study showed that communication in the family has an influence of 59,4% on the learning motivation of 4th and 6th semester students of the Islamic Communication and broadcasting study program, Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. In addition, see from the Beta Standard Coefficient value of 0,771, it means that communication in the family has a positive influence on student learning motivation.

A severe head louse (Pediculus humanus capitis) infestation: Timeline, pathogen detection, kdr-gene screening and morphological anomalies of lice.

Lice are assuming an increasing importance in forensic investigations, given their capacity to provide information about an individual's care. Head louse pediculosis is a frequent condition in school-age children and can be properly controlled using topical treatments combined with good personal hygiene. Prolonged and chronic infestations may result in more serious outcomes including severe iron deficiency anaemia. We conducted entomological and laboratory investigations of a head louse infestation in a 12-year-old girl who experienced severe anaemia and subsequent death. Numerous lice were found postmortem on the head, face and neck of the patient, as well as on bedding and clothing. Analysis of nits on individual hairs determined that the louse infestation had been present for at least 166 days. The lice had some morphological traits characteristic of body lice: the third antennal segment in some specimens was distinctly longer than wide, and the apices of some paratergal plates did not extend into intersegmental membranes, while other morphological features were characteristic of head or body lice. All lice were heterozygous for the T917I kdr genotype, a marker of permethrin resistance. Nineteen (79.2%, 95%CI 59.5%-90.8%) louse DNA samples tested TaqMan positive for Acinetobacter (Moraxellales; Moraxellaceae) sp. Available information and laboratory findings are further discussed regarding their possible contribution to the negative outcome of this case. We stress the impact head louse pediculosis can have on children with limited parental attention, and how severe head louse infestation may serve as warning sign of neglect, and other high-risk situations.

Development of Meaningful Learning from Family-School Integration

The research shows the results of a study carried out on family-school integration as a foundation for meaningful learning in secondary basic education students, belonging to the official sector in the Colombian Caribbean region. The type of research was descriptive, with a deductive rationalist approach and a mixed or complementary paradigm. The sample was made up of sixty-four (64) students in their final year of high school and twenty-four (24) parents and/or guardians, to whom a survey was applied, eleven (11) teachers and one (1) director of the educational institution, consulted through an interview. Once the information was obtained, the triangulation technique was used to cross-reference the opinions, perceptions and beliefs of the actors involved in the comprehensive training of the students. As a result, it was possible to characterize the factors that favor family-school integration, including emotionality, participation, communication, attention and motivation of parents in accompanying their children's academic activities. For their part, schools must organize spaces that promote integration relationships, which represents an alternative to face the dilemmas of the educational context and promote the development of meaningful learning.

CALLIGRAPHY ART AS A MEDIUM OF DA'WAH IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAM

Islamic boarding schools are known by the public because many of the works of students are introduced through culture and religion so that these works are known to the outside community. At Islamic boarding school students are also taught to study religion and deepen efforts to create a generation whose character is shaped in accordance with Islamic law. So it is no longer surprising if alumni of Islamic boarding schools are found who have good scientific character. If a work of calligraphy is found in a shop, the first thing that comes to mind is that the work is one of the works of Islamic boarding school children. So that it attracts the attention of parents to enter their children into Islamic boarding schools because of the works made by these students. Developments that can be seen at this time are the many impacts of the influence of calligraphy in Islamic boarding schools and outside Islamic boarding schools. The impact with the existence of calligraphy has had an influence on the development of Islam. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the role of Islamic boarding schools is in developing the art of calligraphy as a medium for preaching the development of Islam. In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative methods through a literature study approach, taking reference materials from journals, books, articles, and others, as mandatory material in this research.

Korelasi antara perhatian orang tua dan disiplin belajar terhadap motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa

This study investigates the correlation between parental attention and study discipline with students' motivation to learn mathematics. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, utilizing path analysis, which includes correlation analysis followed by regression analysis. The results reveal a correlation coefficient of 0.844 between parental attention, study discipline, and student's motivation to learn mathematics, categorizing it as "very strong." Furthermore, the multiple linear regression analysis yielded the following regression equation: . The study concludes a significant correlation between parental attention, study discipline, and students' motivation to learn mathematics. Additionally, the findings suggest that the greater the parental attention and study discipline, the higher the students' motivation to learn mathematics, and vice versa.

Introduction: Government Children are a mandate as well as a gift from God the Almighty, who must always be guarded because every person (child) has basic human rights that have been regulated in the constitution, even he has inherent dignity and human rights, so children cannot be abandoned. The law has regulated related to child protection.Purposes of the Research: The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the responsibilities of parents who abandon children, and the legal consequences for parents who abandon children.Methods of the Research: This research uses the type of normative juridical research, with a problem approach used is descriptive analysis, namely literature studies and from field studies, the sources of law used are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The data collection procedure is using literature study. The legal management and analysis used is the method of normative analysis, namely relating it to the applicable legal norms.Results of the Research: The results of the writing show that the responsibility of parents who abandon children is caused by economic factors, harmony in the family, the awareness and attention of parents towards children is so lacking that children lose their rights. The legal consequences for parents who abandon their children are fines, even up to the revocation of custody of their children, therefore supervision regarding this case must be more efficient.

Exploring the Nexus Between Child Unintentional Injuries and Parental Smartphone Distraction: A Narrative Review of Studies, News Reports, and Rising Cases

This review explores the impact of smartphone use on parenting practices and parental supervision. With the pervasive presence of smartphones in daily life, there is growing concern about their potential to distract parents and interrupt effective parenting. The purpose of this review is to synthesise the existing literature on how smartphone usage affects parental attention and supervision. Collected research papers and news reports have highlighted that parents’ excessive smartphone use has contributed to distracted parental supervision, uninvolved parenting, unintentional injuries, and fatalities among children. This review examines studies from various databases, focusing on information related to smartphone distraction among parents. Key findings indicate that high smartphone use is associated with reduced quality of parental interactions and inadequate supervision, leading to increased risks for children. The review concludes that while smartphones provide significant benefits, their overuse poses substantial risks to child safety and development. Future research should aim to develop strategies to mitigate these negative impacts and promote balanced smartphone use in family contexts.

Beginning writing is a skill that is taught to students at the initial stage, namely in class I. This research is motivated by the difficulties faced by students in the Indonesian language subject of learning to start writing in class I. This research aims to describe the difficulties of learning to start writing and identify factors -factors causing difficulties in learning to write at the beginning of class I at UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 2. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research were 4 class I students with difficulty in beginning writing. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Based on research results, several writing difficulties experienced by class I students include: not being able to write their full name or nickname, not being able to write the letters of the alphabet correctly, not being able to copy words and not being able to write on the right lines. Then the factors that influence initial writing difficulties are internal factors including students' low fine motor skills, students' low visual abilities, study habits and low learning interest and motivation. Meanwhile, external factors for students include a lack of parental attention and guidance towards students.

In the current era of globalization, students are faced with demands to consider factors influencing their academic achievements. This research aims to uncover the role of an effective school environment, parental attention, and study habits in enhancing students' educational quality. Quantitative methods were employed in this study. This approach was chosen to provide a more measurable understanding of the roles of the school environment, parental involvement, and study habits on students' academic outcomes. Involving 207 students as research samples, sampling was conducted randomly. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires covering school environment variables, parental involvement, and study habits. Data analysis was conducted through validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression. The use of multiple linear regression as a data analysis tool enabled researchers to understand the extent to which certain variables, such as the school environment, parental involvement, and study habits, contribute to variations in students' academic outcomes. Findings indicate that the school environment plays a significant role in determining students' academic achievements. Emotional involvement and parental support also contribute to students' academic performance. Furthermore, consistent and effective study habits have proven to be significant factors in developing students' academic achievements. With a supportive school environment for learning and positive contributions from parents, as well as effective study habits, it is expected that students' academic outcomes will improve.

Influence of parental attention and interest in learning on student social studies learning achievement in Elementary School

This research uses the ex post facto correlation method to examine the relationship between parental attention, interest learning social studies, and student learning outcomes at SDN 1 Pabuaran Wetan. The sample consists of 40 grade IV students selected through stratified random sampling. Data on parental attention, interest learning, and student learning outcomes were collected simultaneously using scales and assessments. Inferential statistical techniques, such as t-tests or ANOVA, will be applied to analyze the data. The research aims to determine if there is a significant relationship between the variables and provide insights into student achievement. The findings will inform the development of effective educational strategies to enhance student interest and improve learning outcomes in social studies. Understanding parental attention and interest learning can contribute to the design of interventions and programs that promote student engagement and academic performance in social studies education.

The problem of juvenile delinquency is an actual theme that a lot of the talk among parents, educators, religious social institutions and even governments. Teens often get stuck and deeds are always considered true regardless of other people and the environment. In this phase teenagers start searching for identity or identity. To prevent the occurrence of acts of delinquency committed by juveniles, it requires the participation of the attention of parents as educators in the family, so that teenagers can behave well. Based on the above problems, the authors conducted the study titled "The Role of Family Education In Anticipating Delinquency In the village Mekarsari Cilawu District of Garut". Formulation of the problem in this research is: "how the educational role of the family in anticipation of juvenile delinquency in the village Mekarsari Cilawu District of Garut". The hypothesis of this study is that if implemented with good family education, the juvenile delinquency in the village Mekarsari Cilawu District of Garut can be anticipated. The method used in this study: a descriptive analysis by observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature, and documentation. The population in this study were all heads of families and community leaders in the village of the District Mekarsari Cilawu. While sampled are 50 families and 10 community leaders. Ingestion of Fluids of the Ocular Surface Containing Eye Drops of Imidazole Derivatives-Alpha Adrenergic Receptor Agonists as Paragons.

Accidental poisonings by ingesting conjunctival fluid mixed with eye drops commonly involve alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists and tetrahydrozoline. These substances are recognized in commonly reported ingestions. Victims of all ages, otherwise in good health, often present as pale and lethargic to the emergency department (ED) after unintentionally ingesting topical eye medication. While eye drop poisoning cases in childhood include accidents during the play and poisonings in adults mean either suicide attempts or side effects caused by the systemic absorption of the substance, fluid of the ocular surface is a risk to all age groups. With this in mind, this study aimed to summarize data in the literature on tetrahydrozoline and alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists as dangerous medications, even when administered in low-bioavailability forms, such as eye drops. With this aim, a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA)-compliant systematic review of relevant studies was conducted. A search of PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and EBSCOhost yielded nine studies that met the rigorous inclusion criteria. The primary studies were subject to a meta-analysis once a quality appraisal of the studies and a narrative synthesis of the extracted data had been conducted. The author hopes that this information will provide observations that will lead to better designs for over-the-counter eye drops, off-label drug usage policies, and parental attention.

BADI CHILDREN EDUCATION AND AFFECTING FACTORS IN THEIR SCHOOLING

Badi community is a lowest caste group not only in other caste group but it is also among Dalit community. The educational status of Badi community is not satisfactory and as pitiable. To address this problem, the aim of the study is to find out the educational status of Badi children and affecting factors in their schooling. From the literature review, there have been few study on Badi community rather than other Dalit, thus, there is more difficult to get the study on Badi education. So to fill this gap I am selected the Badi community of Dullu municipality of Dailekh district to study their current educational status by the use of census method. Research design is based on quantitative technique and data collected by the primary sources such as interview with closed ended questionnaire, observation, daily diary and data is analyzed by the use univariate and bivariate technique through SPSS software. Education status of Badi is not satisfactory and/or miserable. Their literacy rate and completion of school level education is lower than the national ratio, still, the enrollment and pass rate in higher education is very low. Likewise, parents perceptions in schooling is positive but only to literacy rather than knowledge acquiring. Mostly, parents attention is more centralized to the daily wage work for their livelihood due to the poor economic condition. They are not confidence of any good opportunities after achieving education. On the other hand, Badi children are not so interested on schooling but more interested other income generation activities. Thus, their school education is only literacy oriented.

The Impact of Students' Learning Interests and Parenting Patterns on Economic Learning Outcomes

The lack of parental attention to children's character education makes parents' parenting patterns less than optimal, so children's interest in learning decreases, which causes student learning outcomes not to meet the KKM at school. Therefore, this research aims to partially and simultaneously examine the influence of learning interests and parenting patterns on the economic learning outcomes of class XI students. This type of research is causal research. The population in this research was 107 students, and the sample used was 84 students. Data collection methods using questionnaires and documents were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing using the t-test and F-test was processed using the SPSS 20.0 for the Windows program. This research shows that interest in learning and parenting patterns partially and simultaneously influence students' social studies learning outcomes, which are expressed at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Based on this, it is concluded that formal education must also be balanced with informal education provided by parents through good parenting. This will increase students' interest in learning so that student learning outcomes will improve. This research provides theoretical implications that the solution to increasing student interest in learning and learning outcomes can be done by applying informal education to balance formal education.
