Strategi Pengelolaan Aset dan Sarana Prasarana untuk Mewujudkan Sekolah Ramah Anak Berbasis Pendidikan Islam

Sekolah Ramah Anak (Child-friendly schools) place students as living subjects, so that the education process takes place in safe, clean and healthy conditions, with the guarantee that children's rights are respected and they are protected from violence. Setting up a child-friendly school requires adequate facilities and infrastructure. Educational facilities and infrastructure are school assets that must be well organized and managed to support quality education in schools. A school asset and infrastructure management strategy is needed. The purpose of this study is to explain the asset and infrastructure management strategies for the implementation of Islamic education-based child-friendly schools. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely documentary studies or literature studies conducted by reading and analyzing documentary sources in the form of journals, articles, and other documents related to the problem. Based on the research conducted, it is concluded that asset and infrastructure management strategies to realize child-friendly schools based on Islamic education include the application of sustainability principles in asset and infrastructure management, collaboration between stakeholders for effective management, and the use of technology and innovation in asset and infrastructure management.

Rethinking Local Government Asset Management in Indonesia: Governance, Planning, and Policy Evaluation

Effective asset management is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and achieving sustainable development within local governments in Indonesia. This study explores key challenges in asset management, focusing on governance, planning, and policy evaluation. Several critical issues are identified: fragmented governance, insufficient transparency and coordination, outdated asset inventories, and misalignment between asset management practices and broader development goals. Policy evaluation mechanisms are also inadequate, failing to measure asset utilisation effectively. These challenges lead to inefficiencies in resource allocation, underutilisation of assets, and missed opportunities for local economic growth. The findings align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), which promotes efficient resource use, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), which supports enhanced infrastructure management. Addressing these goals enables local governments to align asset management strategies with broader sustainability objectives, fostering equitable growth and long-term development. Through a qualitative literature review, this study analyses data from government reports and prior research to highlight these challenges and propose solutions. An integrated approach—aligning governance frameworks, improving asset management planning, and strengthening policy evaluation—can overcome the identified barriers. By adopting this model, local governments can optimise asset management, leading to improved efficiency, better resource utilisation, and sustainable development. Future research should explore applying this framework across regions in Indonesia to validate its effectiveness.

Digital Grading Company: Deep Neural Networks for Predictive Analytics for Alternative Asset Portfolio Management

In this study, we investigate the application of deep neural networks for predictive analytics in the realm of alternative asset portfolio management, focusing on Trading Card Games (TCGs) like Pokemon. Our primary objective is to understand the optimal trading cards for investment and to determine the appropriate timing for divestment and retention of these assets. Drawing on the successful implementation of machine learning predictive analytics in traditional financial markets, we aim to extend these techniques to alternative investments. To achieve this, we employ a two-pronged approach using a comprehensive dataset of historical sales values for Pokemon TCGs spanning five years, comprising over 200 million unlabeled data points. The first approach utilizes a semi-supervised sequence learning method, where a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model is initially trained as a sequence autoencoder. The pre-trained model's weights are then used in a supervised phase to fine-tune the predictions for future trading card values. The second approach involves heuristic pretraining, which leverages market-derived indicators from existing literature to bridge the gap between traditional feature engineering and deep learning methods. Our technology stack is designed to handle end-to-end data collection, analytics generation, and execution of recommended trading strategies. Simulated backtesting results demonstrate that our Digital Grading Company (DGC) portfolio model outperforms traditional indices, achieving a 357% return compared to the 61% return of the S&P 500 Index over the same period. Real-time analysis further indicates that our model consistently identifies profitable trading opportunities in the TCG market using hourly data and proprietary algorithmic trade logic, executing trades 24/7. The DGC Predictive Portfolio, based on ungraded Pokemon TCG trading cards, also shows superior performance when compared to the Nasdaq 100 Index (Invesco QQQ ETF). Our analytics framework not only predicts the direction of price movement but also provides insights into the magnitude of changes, enabling a more dynamic and responsive trading strategy. The findings suggest that the integration of deep learning models with heuristic indicators has the potential to revolutionize portfolio management in alternative investments, paving the way for more accurate and profitable decision-making in niche markets. This research highlights the promising role of machine learning in enhancing alternative asset management strategies, suggesting future applications in other asset classes. We conclude that deep neural networks, when combined with data-driven heuristics, can significantly enhance trading outcomes, making them valuable tools for investors in the evolving landscape of alternative investments.

A Study on Perception of Mutual Fund Investment

This study explores the performance, risks, and opportunities associated with mutual fund investments, particularly in the Indian market. It evaluates different mutual fund types, analyzing their historical returns and risk metrics to provide investors with data-driven insights. The research examines the factors influencing mutual fund performance, including market volatility, asset management strategies, and economic conditions. Additionally, the study assesses investor behaviour in response to mutual fund performance, emphasizing the role of financial literacy and risk tolerance. The findings suggest that mutual funds offer a viable investment option for wealth creation, with equity-based funds outperforming others over a long-term horizon. However, market risks remain significant, requiring careful management and strategic investment planning

This research is based on the results of observations which found several problems in the Village Asset Management Strategy Based on the "SIPADES" Village Asset Management System Application in Kekeri Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency, namely: Lack of direction from the Social, Community and Village Empowerment Service regarding guidelines for using the System application Village Asset Management, there is no special emphasis on the use of the Village Asset Management System application, there is no updating of the Village Asset Management System application every year. The aim of this research is to determine the Village Asset Management Strategy Based on the "SIPADES" Village Asset Management System Application in Kekeri Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. To obtain information and data, researchers used semistructured interviews and documentation methods. The inhibiting factors were lack of budget due to not having original village income and funds not being received on time, lack of guidance and competency improvement from related agencies, the Sipades application had not been running optimally and was still not can access. Efforts made to overcome obstacles include budgeting a larger budget, seeking budget from other income by increasing the PADes or from third party donations and further efforts by exchanging budget functions first, holding training related to village asset management and bringing in parties related to village asset management to provide guidance to village officials, BPD, LPM budgeted from the APBDes.

Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd. has been actively expanding its business territory and product lines, led by its diversification strategy, thus achieving remarkable financial results. The company has also used scientific asset management strategies to optimize the allocation of resources and enhance the efficiency of asset utilization, while efficient operations have provided solid support for its diversified growth. However, the implementation of a diversification strategy also introduces specific financial risks and challenges. Increasing financial pressure and intensifying market competition have gradually emerged, which require Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd. to continuously improve its financial structure and strengthen risk management to ensure the durability and profitability of its strategy. This article not only comprehensively analyzes the financial performance of Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd. in implementing its diversification strategy, but also deeply discusses the challenges faced by the group and its corresponding response strategies, which provides valuable reference and far-reaching insights for other enterprises in adopting similar strategies.

DEFINING COMPONENTS OF THE METHODOLOGICAL PLATFORM FOR FORMING A BUSINESS PORTFOLIO OF A COMPANY IN THE UPDATED FORMAT OF MODERN DEVELOPMENT

The article is devoted to the analysis of the economic and operational imperatives of forming a business portfolio for a development company in the construction sector. A successful business portfolio management strategy requires the integration of financial, organizational, and technological aspects to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of the business. In modern conditions, real estate development is one of the key factors that determines the dynamics of enterprise development, as it includes a comprehensive approach to asset management, from planning and financing to the construction and operation of objects. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the genesis of development at the current stage of the construction market's evolution have been analyzed.The methodological platform for forming a business portfolio should be based on the principles of rational resource management, risk analysis, and technological optimization. Changes in development activities require the active use of digital tools and a comprehensive approach to managing residential, commercial, and industrial properties, which allows for the maximization of profitability and minimization of risks.The article discusses the main stages of portfolio formation, such as strategic planning, selection of investment objects, and their integration into the overall structure of the enterprise. An economic and mathematical formalization of the process is also provided. For the successful operation of a development company, it is crucial to ensure coordinated work at all stages of the project — from planning and financing to construction and commissioning of the facilities.Particular attention is paid to the methods of economic and mathematical modelling (EMM) and quantitative risk analysis, which have become the basis for the development of the latest asset management strategies. The study analyses 35 different techniques. Each methodology offers unique tools for the effective management of development projects that allow forecasting financial flows, determining optimal investment strategies, and building the best plans for the development of a real estate portfolio. The specific methods used to value residential, commercial and industrial real estate are also discussed, taking into account their different levels of risk and return.It is important to note that the updated methodological platform is suitable for adaptation to the latest technologies and digital tools. This includes the introduction of a project management system, the use of artificial intelligence technologies to analyse large amounts of data, and the use of analytical tools to predict market trends. This approach helps to optimise asset management in a changing market environment. The analysis of the main components of the business portfolio formation platform also showed that important factors for the successful implementation of development projects are the speed of response to market changes, flexibility of management decisions, and the ability to minimise risks at all stages of the project.

An asset management modelling framework for wind turbine blades considering monitoring system reliability

By incorporating information about asset condition from a monitoring system, engineers can utilize asset management models to manage maintenance activities on wind turbine blades throughout their lifespan. This can lower operating and maintenance costs and increase the life of the blades. The asset management model relies on the monitoring system as a source of information, however, commonly the reliability of the monitoring system is not considered. This paper presents a wind turbine blade asset management Petri net (PN) model that covers the blade asset management process, including degradation, inspection, condition monitoring (CM), and maintenance processes. The paper proposes two contributions. Firstly, while taking into account detailed industry guidelines, the developed model can forecast the future blade condition for a given asset management strategy. Secondly, it investigates the impact of the reliability of the monitoring system on the asset management modelling results. With the aid of the developed model, the number of repair actions and probability distributions of blade condition discovery time are obtained. In addition, the PN gives an indication of how misreporting (underestimation and overestimation) occurs and the extent of the misreporting. The simulation results illustrate the degree of uncertainty introduced into the monitoring results by the reliability of the monitoring system and, consequently, the extent to which this factor influences the maintenance strategies. The proposed model can be used to support asset management decisions when monitoring system performance degrades.

Financial Performance Evaluation Using Profitability and Liquidity Ratio Analysis

A company's financial performance is an important indicator used to assess the financial health and operational efficiency of a business entity. In the context of PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk, the consolidated financial statements as of March 31, 2024 showed an increase in current assets to IDR 330.44 billion from IDR 263.97 billion in the previous period. Although the company has recorded an increase in current assets and net profit, unstable global economic conditions can cause uncertainty in revenue and operating costs. This study uses a quantitative research design with a descriptive approach to evaluate the financial performance of PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk through profitability and liquidity ratio analysis. The results of the study show that PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk has good financial performance with high liquidity, significant profitability, and effective asset management. The company shows a strong ability to meet short-term obligations and generate profits from its assets and equity. A holistic and sustainable evaluation of financial performance is essential to maintain the stability and growth of the company in the future. The findings of this study provide important contributions both theoretically and practically in the field of financial management. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on financial ratio analysis with a focus on the maritime industry. In practice, these findings offer solutions for companies in managing risk and improving operational efficiency through better asset management strategies and investment diversification. The limitation of this study lies in the use of financial data in one period that may not reflect long-term dynamics. For future research, it is recommended to examine financial data in a longer period and consider other external factors such as regulatory changes and global market conditions.

Global resurgence: private asset reconstruction companies as legal catalysts for financial stability in India and beyond

Purpose This study aims to transcend geographical boundaries and provide insights into innovative strategies used by Indian Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) in managing distressed assets. The study examines the origins, evolution, challenges and opportunities faced by ARCs to derive lessons that can be universally applicable and serve as a valuable blueprint for global investors and institutions seeking effective strategies in managing distressed assets. From a legal and compliance angle, this opens up many perspectives that would help plug loopholes and grey zones within the legal ambit for organisations and institutions. Design/methodology/approach The study invokes a critical review of existing literature, news, discussions and publicly available information from reliable sources such as the central bank’s websites to develop the viewpoints and provide recommendations. Findings ARCs face challenges, recovering only 19.15% of distressed assets in 2022. Despite constraints like funding, governance issues and regulatory hurdles, there is a substantial opportunity for investors in the Rs. 9.6 lakh crore non-performing assets. The study suggests strategic assessments by banks, emphasises ARCs’ roles in specific sectors and calls for regulatory adjustments. With diverse investors and favourable regulations, this evolving landscape offers significant global opportunities for policymakers and investors in distressed assets. Practical implications This study serves as a valuable guide for shaping resilient policies, fostering cross-border collaborations and optimising distressed asset management strategies on a global scale. Originality/value This study breaks new ground by examining the private ARCs sector within an emerging economy’s dynamics, presenting insights relevant to global distressed markets. This study serves as a unique resource for those navigating the complexities of distressed markets globally, providing insights that can inform strategies, policies and academic discussions in the broader financial landscape.

Asset risk assessment and management of large-scale electricity enterprises under the concept of financial sharing

The power grid is an important industry that is crucial to national security and economic development, and its importance in society continues to grow. As an emerging concept, financial sharing enables internal resource sharing and optimization, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of asset management. This study investigates and analyzes the current situation of asset management in large-scale electricity enterprises in X Province, China, and proposes a comprehensive asset management strategy optimization plan based on the concept of financial sharing. The proposed plan integrates management models such as PDCA and designs an entire information management architecture to enhance resource utilization efficiency, reduce environmental pollution risks, and optimize asset allocation and operational decisions. In addition, it also utilizes the status of assets to assess the risks associated with fixed assets in the power grid. The results indicate that the asset risk assessment method under the concept of financial sharing can reduce power grid asset losses, effectively enhance the competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of electricity enterprises.

Enhancing financial stability in Islamic banks: An investigation of determinants during the COVID-19 in Indonesia

Purpose — This study investigates the determinants of Islamic banks' stability in Indonesia amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.Method — Employing a causality-associative quantitative approach, the research utilizes purposive sampling and secondary data collection from monthly financial reports on the official websites of OJK (Financial Services Authority) and BI (Bank Indonesia). Statistical techniques including normality test, multicollinearity test, t-test, f-test, R2 test, and multiple linear regression, aided by SPSS version 22 and Microsoft Excel, are employed for data analysis.Result — The results reveal that Islamic banks' total assets significantly positively influence their stability in Indonesia. Additionally, variables such as Operational Costs to Operational Income (OCOI) ratio and BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) exhibit significant negative effects on Islamic banks' stability. Practical implications — Understanding the influence of total assets, Operational Costs to Operational Income (OCOI) ratio, and the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) on Islamic banks' stability in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic can guide policymakers and bank management in implementing measures to strengthen resilience and mitigate risks, such as strategic asset management and cost optimization strategies.

Rail surface damage management through monitoring and modelling

ABSTRACT Rolling contact fatigue (RCF) cracking and wear significantly impact rail surfaces. The interaction between them is crucial; wear dominance can remove initiated cracks, while low wear rates may escalate crack propagation, elevating rail failure risks. Grinding, a preventive maintenance technique, removes remaining cracks, applied in fixed-interval or condition-based regimes. Operational constraints, favouring cyclic regimes, may potentially reduce rail life and increase costs. Thus, an optimal asset management strategy involves grinding based on current RCF condition and its predicted growth rate, considering its interaction with wear. London Underground employs diverse rail inspection methods, including advanced MRX-RSCM technology, to measure crack depth. Research used its measurements, developing a novel Combined Shakedown Map and Tγ approach. This predicts RCF growth under wear interaction, indicating the material to be removed by grinding. Its results are displayed for high and low rails of curved track sites, compared with monitoring measurements, enabling observation of changes in damage susceptibility and related grinding requirements over different rails.

Practical Application of Digital Twins for Transportation Asset Data Management: Case Example of a Safety Hardware Asset

Digital Twins have emerged as a transformative technology with immense potential for enhancing asset data management in various industries. The transportation industry relies heavily on properly functioning and maintaining safety hardware assets, such as crash barriers, guiderails, and road signs, among others, to ensure the safety of road users. However, traditional asset data management practices for ancillary assets often fall short of providing real-time, comprehensive insights into the condition and performance of these critical assets. Conversely, Digital Twins can analyze data for predictive and preventive maintenance using cutting-edge technologies. This will enable asset managers to proactively address potential safety concerns, plan maintenance schedules efficiently, and optimize resource allocation. This can be achieved by leveraging historical asset data and real-time condition updates and providing the Digital Twin with an information-rich analytical model. The key steps to creating an information-rich analytical model are identifying the asset data that should be collected, understanding data architecture throughout the asset lifecycle, and generating asset data governance and stewardship frameworks. As such, this paper investigates the current state of practice for ancillary asset data collection and management and investigates the generation of information-rich analytical models for guiderails, a critical roadway safety hardware. Moreover, this study demonstrates how Digital Twins can be integrated and affect the development of transportation asset management systems. The findings of this article emphasize the significance of adopting Digital Twins in transportation asset data management. The case example showcases a compelling roadmap for other transportation agencies to consider integrating digital twins into their asset management strategies.

This study examines Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) asset management methods, problems, and financial and operational performance effects. The report synthesizes case studies and academic research on how large organizations manage their huge and diverse asset portfolios and how governance, regulatory frameworks, and human resource practices affect their effectiveness. The research begins with case studies of talent management innovations from big Indonesian SOEs. These cases show how proactive human resource approaches can boost company commitment and reduce turnover, improving asset management efficiency. According to the research, governance and legal frameworks influence asset management techniques. Studies show that corporate governance quality affects SOE operational performance. The paper explores how reforms and legislation affect state asset management, highlighting the major changes in SOE governance and legal frameworks, particularly after economic and political reforms. Asset management difficulties for Indonesian SOEs include managing large and diverse asset portfolios, integrating modern management frameworks, and optimizing state asset revenue. According to the study, comprehensive asset management systems, governance transparency, and professional management can address these difficulties. The research examines how asset management strategies affect Indonesian SOE profitability, corporate governance, and performance measures. Strategic asset management boosts financial performance, especially profitability. SOE profitability is greatly affected by current asset and liability management. The study offers advice to Indonesian SOEs and policymakers. Enhancing financial and operational performance requires comprehensive asset management, governance changes, and strategic innovation. These efforts boost Indonesia's economy, demonstrating the importance of asset management in SOE performance.

Human-Centric and Integrative Lighting Asset Management in Public Libraries: Insights and Innovations on Its Strategy and Sustainable Development

In an era of rapidly advancing lighting technology and evolving public library roles, this study introduces a groundbreaking strategy for human-centric and integrative lighting asset management. Embracing both visual and non-visual effects, “integrative lighting” aims to enhance users’ physiological and psychological well-being. Despite technological progress, notably with LEDs, current asset management often lags, relying on reactionary measures rather than proactive strategies. As public libraries transform into dynamic learning hubs, the significance of indoor lighting, impacting both physical health and holistic well-being, cannot be understated. Yet, many existing solutions are based on controlled lab tests, bypassing the diverse real-world needs of public libraries. Aiming to explore and develop human-centric and integrative lighting asset management strategies to optimize lighting environments in public libraries, this research offers a cohesive approach encompassing context identification, a management framework, and a maturity assessment model. Additionally, this study highlights the synergy between the role of the lighting asset manager, ISO 55000 principles, and these foundational strategies. This holistic approach not only reinvents lighting in public libraries but also aligns it with the broader Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), advocating for light as a conduit of comprehensive human betterment. The current study is primarily qualitative in nature. While this study is based on public libraries in Nordic countries, the implications and findings can be of interest and value to a broader international audience.

With assets exceeding $30 trillion, the rise of sustainable investing is driven by ESG risk recognition, investor demand, and regulatory influences. The inquiry navigates through critical questions regarding the relationship between sustainability and financial returns, global harmonization of disclosure standards, and the efficiency of markets in pricing ESG risks and opportunities. The narrative unfolds the journey from ethical exclusions to comprehensive ESG integration, examining motivators behind investor adoption. Regulatory developments, from disclosure mandates to taxonomy frameworks, are explored alongside initiatives for ESG metric standardization. The paper also presents case studies spotlighting exemplary ESG practices in asset management, ownership, and corporate strategies. By synthesizing empirical evidence, real-world illustrations, and policy insights, the paper provides a compass for understanding the current state and future directions of sustainable finance, where the boundaries between values and value, environmentalism, and capitalism, are undergoing transformative shifts.

Blockchain technology applications in maintaining heritage buildings

Preservation of cultural heritage in the face of human and natural disasters, as well as improper maintenance practices, is a crucial endeavor that must be undertaken throughout the lifespan of heritage buildings. In order to maximize the value derived from these assets and strike a harmonious balance between accurate documentation and performance optimization, asset management strategies have been employed. In recent years, the advent of innovative methodologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and laser scanning has opened new possibilities for their application in various contexts. However, successful implementation of these methodologies faces a range of challenges, including limited knowledge, inexperienced teams, and reluctance to embrace change on the part of administrators. To address these obstacles and enhance asset management practices, the integration of BIM, Chatbot, and Blockchain methodology has emerged as a viable solution. This methodology not only facilitates the improvement of data security and user data capture but also streamlines the process of updating BIM models. In this research, we propose a data-driven Chatbot framework based on Blockchain, specifically designed to manage maintenance activities through the utilization of BIM. The proposed framework serves as a valuable tool for government authorities and asset managers seeking to adopt BIM for the preservation of heritage buildings. Comprising three key components – the BIM model, the Blockchain model, and the Chatbot model – the framework offers comprehensive support. The BIM model encompasses all relevant information pertaining to the management of the heritage building, while the Chatbot model replicates human interaction through text-based communication. Users can access up-to-date BIM data by posing predefined questions to the Chatbot. On the other hand, the Blockchain model serves as a secure and immutable record-keeping system, validating and verifying user updates, thereby fostering trust among stakeholders. This proposed model empowers asset stakeholders to request and update asset information via a trusted and reliable channel. To showcase the capabilities of the framework, we present a real-world case study centered on the Omar Toson Palace in Cairo, Egypt. Through this case study, we demonstrate the effectiveness and potential of our proposed framework in meeting the challenges associated with heritage building preservation.
