Development of E-Module Media on Learning to Make Body Proportion Images in Class X Fashion Design SMK Negeri 1 Buduran

Media Learning is an educational instrument to support the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of developing E-Module media, the feasibility level of E-Module media, and student learning outcomes after applying E-Module media to learning to make body proportion images. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model. The data collection technique used feasibility validation with 2 media validation experts and 2 material validations as well as tests by students in class X fashion with a total of 36 students. The data analysis technique used is an assessment of media feasibility and student learning outcomes. The results of the E-Module media feasibility level research on learning to make body proportion images were declared very feasible with a score of 4.25. Student learning outcomes in learning to make body proportion drawings are shown with classical percentages of 97% complete and 3% incomplete. E-Module learning media with very feasible categories can improve student learning outcomes in learning to make body proportion images in class X of SMK Negeri 1 Buduran.

Learning Evaluation Method Based on Artificial Intelligence Technology and Its Application in Education

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a transformative technology that enables machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. Through algorithms and advanced computing systems, AI enables machines to perceive their environment, reason, learn from experience, and make decisions autonomously. From virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa to self-driving cars and advanced medical diagnosis systems, AI applications are reshaping industries and revolutionizing the way we live and work. With its ability to process vast amounts of data and identify complex patterns, AI has the potential to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and solve some of society's most pressing challenges. This paper introduces a novel learning evaluation method based on artificial intelligence technology, specifically leveraging Mamdani Fuzzy Clustering Middle Order Classification (MFCM-OC), and explores its application in education. The proposed method aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of student learning outcomes by analyzing various factors such as academic performance, engagement, and cognitive development. Through simulated experiments and empirical validations, the efficacy of the MFCM-OC-enhanced learning evaluation method is evaluated. Results demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy and granularity compared to traditional evaluation methods. For instance, the MFCM-OC model achieved an average accuracy rate of 85% in predicting student performance, allowing for targeted interventions and personalized learning plans. Additionally, the method enables educators to identify students' strengths and weaknesses more effectively, facilitating data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in educational practices. These findings underscore the potential of artificial intelligence with MFCM-OC in revolutionizing learning evaluation and enhancing educational outcomes.

Outdoor learning is learning through the application of the natural environment as a learning resource that allows students to be able to see, do something, involve themselves in the learning process (undergoing) and experience directly the things being studied. Learning activities will be more meaningful and valuable, because students or students are faced with actual events and situations. Learning is more real, more flexible, and the truth is more accountable. The aim of writing this good practice is to understand the concept of monocot and dicot plant classification after using an environment-based learning method, namely outdoor learning, and to measure whether outdoor learning can improve the learning outcomes of class VII students at Don Bosco Atambua Middle School on the material of monocot and dicot plant classification. The method used in this good practice is the application of outdoor learning to learning. The problem with this good practice is the lack of student learning outcomes in understanding science material, especially biology. The student's score did not reach the KKM set by the school, namely 75. The use of outdoor learning is rarely carried out by biology teachers at SMPK Don Bosco Atambua. Students tend to get bored studying in class. Abstract material concepts and complicated vocabulary regarding the classification of monocot and dicot plants, namely their characteristics. Taproot, fibrous, one and two pieces, parallel veins, pinnate and finger, lack of practical work, low learning motivation and so on. Assessment of student learning outcomes is obtained from evaluation of learning, observations during learning and written interviews with students who are samples in writing this good practice. Analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively by calculating the average student score. The average score obtained by class VII H students before outdoor learning was 55.75, while the score obtained after outdoor learning experienced an increase in learning outcomes with the average score obtained being 95.77 from a total of 34 students. This shows that understanding the material on the classification of monocot and dicot plants using the outdoor learning model is very effective in improving student learning outcomes.

This study aims to compare and analyze accreditation standards based on the 「Guideline for Quality Provision in Cross-border Higher Education」proposed by UNESCO and OECD and suggest improvement measures. For this purpose, we examined the definition of university quality through literature analysis. We compared and analyzed the accreditation areas and detailed criteria of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges in the United States. As a result of the systematic review and analysis, the current accreditation standards of university institutional assessment certification lacked measurement factors for effectiveness in measuring university quality. Therefore, this study recommends that future accreditation criteria evaluate improvements in institutional effectiveness and student learning outcome assessment. Governments and universities can utilize the results of this study in the design of accreditation standards that can enhance international applicability and induce university quality improvement.

Choosing Objective and Non-objective Test as Instrument for Assessment of EFL Student Learning Outcomes

This research describes the type of questions both objective and non-objective tests, benefits, and weaknesses of EFL students’ learning outcomes. This research is a descriptive qualitative. The analysis shows that the written test can be used as a measuring instrument for knowing students’ abilities. The form of the written test consists of objective and non-objective. An objective test consists of multiple potential answers or responses for students to choose one including completion, multiple-choice, matching, short answer, and true-false test. Non-objective tests consist of essays/descriptions for students to compose or organize answers in their language including an essay in limited/restricted essay and free essay tests. Teachers/lecturers should consider aspects of making the tests. They have differences in measured learning outcomes, preparation of question items, sampling of learning materials, control of student answers, scoring, influence on the learning process, and reliability. However, both objective and non-objective tests also have several advantages and disadvantages.

Increasing Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes in Al-Qur'an Hadith Subjects through Teaching Cognitive Strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Yasiska Kedaung, South Tangerang City

This research was motivated by observational data which showed that the acquisition of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning in the VB MI Yasiska Kedaung Pamulang class, learning model material that did not activate students and student learning outcomes were still low, so that Cognitive Strategy teaching was implemented which could improve the quality of learning. Among the appropriate learning models is Cognitive Strategy teaching which is carried out through Classroom Action Research. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The research instruments used tests, group assignments, observations, field notes, and the results of discussions with observers. Data was obtained from research subjects, namely 24 students of Class VB MI Yasiska Kedaung Pamulang. The learning outcomes achieved by students in the second cycle achieved positive values. The average class score is 84. 83% (20) of students have reached and passed the KKM score of 70. This percentage has exceeded the target of 70% of students completing their studies. Students who were able to provide examples of reading Mim Sukun Law reached 19 or 79%. This percentage has also exceeded the target of 70% of students being able to demonstrate reading Mim Sukun Law. The results of the research can be concluded to be successful. Thus, the application of Cognitive Strategy Teaching can improve the assessment of student learning outcomes in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject Legal material Mim Sukun class VB MI Yasiska Kedaung Pamulang South Tangerang.

The Impact of Teacher’s Involvement in MGMP on the Teachers’ Performance

This research paper examines the impact of teacher involvement in the MGMP (subject-subject teacher consultation) program on teacher performance in Indonesian schools. The study investigates the level of engagement of Indonesian instructors in the MGMP and explores how their participation affects their effectiveness as educators. Furthermore, the paper examines the relationship between teacher participation in the MGMP and student achievement, emphasizing the influence of the program on student learning outcomes. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach, using interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from teachers in Tangerang City. The findings highlight the importance of active participation in the MGMP, as it enables teachers to collaborate on various aspects related to improving teaching practices, including the development and use of teaching programs, production and utilization of teaching aids, adoption of teaching methods, assessment of student learning processes and outcomes, utilization of the learning environment, classroom management, and other learning-related activities. It is hoped that this research will encourage teachers to actively contribute to resolving school-related issues and promote teacher professionalism through their engagement in the MGMP, especially those pertaining to teacher professionalism.

Analysis of the Influence of Some External Factors on Students Mathematics Achievement Based on Decision Tree Algorithm

With the continuous progress of the educational system in various countries, people attach more and more importance to education. In todays school education, the math score of students is an important indicator for the assessment of student learning outcomes, on the one hand, can be a real, objective reflect students actual learning and teachers teaching level, on the other hand can also choose for students after learning methods, teachers to play a good role in guiding the teaching plan. This study analyzes the student performance data of math students in kaggle, explores the factors that affect the students performance of this course from many aspects, and then puts forward reasonable suggestions and applies them to practical teaching so as to improve the teaching quality. All of the data the research has been getting is from Kaggle math students. The data set contains nearly 400 pieces of relevant educational data about students, and there are dozens of factors that affect the performance of each student, such as parental cohabitation, educational support and the desire for higher education. The topic of our study is to analyze the impact of students family situations and educational support on their math performance by using the C4.5 algorithm in the decision tree algorithm as an auxiliary tool. And this paper finally came to this interesting conclusion: motivated students with poor parental relationships and little educational support from school and family tend to do better in math.

Implementasi Aplikasi Exambro Sebagai Pengawasan Penilaian Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik di SMA Negeri 1 Wangon

This research illustrates how the internet has provided unlimited access to vast educational and information resources. Educators and Learners can access learning materials, scientific journals, textbooks, and other online resources relevant to the learning topic. This eliminates geographical limitations and allows schools with limited resources to acquire quality learning materials. This study aims to determine the implementation of the exambro application as a supervision of the assessment of student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Wangon. Through the Exambro Application implemented at Wangon State High School, it can be an application to supervise students in the process of assessing learning outcomes. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The instruments used are observation and interviews. The results showed that this Exambro application can minimize cheating on students. The use of the Exambro application has advantages, but there are still disadvantages in the process of using it. That way educators must carefully prepare this application before sharing it with students. Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through Demonstration Methods in Heat Controlling Properties of Science Materials for Class VI MI Muhammadiyah Padangjaya Academic Year 2013/2014

Learning is basically an activity that should be fun for students. Because they will get new knowledge that is useful for themselves. Therefore a teacher needs to be skilled in making the atmosphere of the learning process more meaningful and not boring in all subjects. This study aims to determine the steps of applying the demonstration method and student learning outcomes in science learning on heat-conducting properties of class VI MI Muhammadiyah Padangjaya students. The research was conducted in class VI, which consisted of 20 students, consisting of 8 female students and 12 male students. The design used in this research is using classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles. Methods of collecting observations, tests, and interviews. The instruments used were student activity observation sheets, student learning outcomes assessment sheets, and interview questions. The data was obtained using qualitative analysis and quantitative description. The demonstration method can improve science learning outcomes about heat conducting properties in class VI MI Muhammadiyah Padangjaya students. This can be proven by the results of the research showing that the passing rate of student learning outcomes increased from 69.25 % to 78.75%. The conclusion of this study is that the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in science learning on heat-conducting properties in class VI MI Muhammadiyah Padangjaya.

Have We Realized the Full Potential of the Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes?

This poster will illustrate the current stage of an ongoing qualitative study of the assessment of student learning outcomes in master’s-level programs in Library and Information Science (LIS) in a sample of eighteen representative American Library Association (ALA)-Accredited MLIS programs in the U.S. Given that the proposed study aims to construct models for assessing learning outcomes in LIS programs based on identified best practices, this analysis of current literature was conducted to identify and understand the issues associated with current practices in learning outcome assessment across other disciplines and professional programs such as nursing and engineering. The analysis identifies the challenging issues, including what learning is being assessed and how to assess it, managing data collected, engaging stakeholders, both students and administrators, and transforming findings into practice to improve programs. This analysis will be followed by interviews conducted with selected faculty to identify best practices. The interview data will be analyzed and coded according to emerging categories for ease of interpretation. Subsequently, the results of the survey and interviews will be utilized to construct models for assessing student learning based on best practices.

Contextual Learning Model in Elementary Schools in Improving Learning Outcomes

Purpose of the study: This research aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model.
 Methodology: The research method used is Classroom Action Research, which consists of three cycles. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with the sample being class III.B with a total of 31 students, consisting of 16 male and 15 female students. The research instruments used were observation sheets and student learning outcome assessment formats. The data analysis techniques used in this research are quantitative and qualitative data. 
 Main Findings: The results of this research indicate that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes for theme 1 subtheme 2 in class III.B students, with learning completion results in cycle I 58%, cycle II 74.1%, cycle III 87% and post-test 90.3%, with a percentage of success requirements of 85%.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve learning outcomes for theme 1 subtheme 2 class III.B at Elementary School 25 Palembang.

Construction and Verification of Learning Outcome Evaluation Index System for Students Majoring in Chinese Pharmacy in Higher Vocational Colleges

As an important part of traditional Chinese medicine, TCM has experienced rapid development in the past few decades. As the study of TCM continues to deepen, the assessment of student learning outcomes has become increasingly important. However, there is currently a lack of a systematic evaluation index system to evaluate the learning outcomes of Chinese pharmacy students. Therefore, this study aims to fill this gap. This study identified relevant evaluation indicators and criteria. Then the opinions and suggestions of the evaluation index system were collected through questionnaire survey. The collected data were verified and analyzed by statistical analysis methods to ensure the validity and reliability of the evaluation index system. The research results show that the evaluation index system constructed can comprehensively evaluate the learning outcomes of students majoring in Chinese pharmacy, and provide an effective reference for schools and industries. The verification results show that the evaluation index system has good stability and reliability in different samples. The evaluation index system for learning outcomes of Chinese pharmacy students in higher vocational colleges constructed in this study has certain theoretical and practical significance. It provides scientific methods and tools for the evaluation of learning outcomes of students majoring in Chinese pharmacy, which is helpful to improve the quality of education and cultivate excellent talents of Chinese pharmacy.

Building the Character of Science Students through Innovative Learning Based on Process Skills During the Covid-19 Pandemic

The aim of this research is to describe student character through innovative learning based on process skills in class IX of Jambi Medan Private High School during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative research, the research subjects were 34 students in class IX of Jambi Medan Private High School. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The research results show that the science learning process in class IX of Jambi Medan Private High School during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out offline using a shift system by applying a discovery learning model with a process skills-based approach and combined with several learning methods of mind mapping, group discussions, questions and answers and assignments. Student participation in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was good. Students participate actively in the learning process. Assessment of student learning outcomes reaches the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).

Faculty and Assessment Practitioner Needs for Student Learning Outcomes Assessment in Higher Education

This study examined the assessment needs of faculty and assessment practitioners in higher education. Sergiovanni’s (2000, 2004) lifeworld-systemsworld framework (LSF) and Clandinin and Connelly’s (2006) commonplaces of narrative inquiry (CNI) were the theoretical lenses to investigate this topic. Through 20 in-depth, semi-directed interviews (15 assessment practitioners and 5 faculty), six themes were identified between two research questions: (a) meaningful assessment work takes time; (b) assessment should not interfere with academic freedom; (c) assessment work requires resources; (d) assessment has a long-term orientation; (e) assessment responds to external stakeholders; and (f) assessment was impacted by the pandemic. The discussion spotlights the practical, policy, and theoretical implications of our findings within the broader higher education assessment literature.

Comparison of the Performance of Sports and Health Physical Education Teachers between Pns and Non Pns Teachers in Kapanewon Godean Sleman

This study aims to analyze the comparison of Physical Education, Sport and Health (PESH) teacher performance between civil servant and non-civil servant teachers in Kapanewon Godean Sleman. The research method used is quantitative research with a comparative descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 35 PESH teachers, including 10 civil servant teachers and 25 non-civil servant teachers selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires adapted from previous research instruments. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The study shows that there is no significant difference in the performance of Elementary School Physical Education, Sport, and Health (PJOK) teachers who are PNS and non-PNS in six aspects, namely lesson planning (p = 0.369), lesson implementation (p = 0.185), assessment of learning outcomes (p = 0.740), coaching and guidance (p = 0.804), additional tasks (p = 0.402), and professional development (p = 0.492). The p-values for each comparison are greater than the significance value of 0.05. It is concluded that there is no significant difference in the performance of PNS and non-PNS Elementary School PJOK teachers in the six observed aspects, namely lesson planning, lesson implementation, assessment of student learning outcomes, coaching and guidance of students, implementation of additional tasks, and professional development. The implication of this study is the importance of providing support and training to improve the quality of learning and performance of Elementary School PJOK teachers, both PNS and non-PNS.

Assessment Practices of Learning Outcomes of Postgraduate Students in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at College of Health Sciences at Addis Ababa University: Student and Faculty Perspectives.

Higher education institutions are under increasing pressure to respond to societal needs which has in turn led to changes in the type of knowledge, competencies, and skills required from learners. Assessment of student learning outcomes is the most powerful educational tool for guiding effective learning. In Ethiopia, studies are scarce on assessment practices of learning outcomes of postgraduate students in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences. This study investigated the assessment practices of learning outcomes of postgraduate students pursuing studies in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences at the College of Health Sciences of Addis Ababa University. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted using structured questionnaires administered to postgraduate students and teaching faculty members in 13 MSc programs in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences at the College of Health Sciences of Addis Ababa University. About 300 postgraduate and teaching faculty members were recruited with purposive sampling. The data collected included assessment methods, types of test items, and student preferences on assessment formats. Data were analyzed using quantitative approaches, descriptive statistics, and parametric tests. The study indicated that several assessment strategies and test items were practiced without a significant difference across fields of study. Regular attendance, oral questioning, quiz, group and individual assignments, seminar presentations, mid-term tests, and final written examination were commonly practiced assessment formats, while short question and long question essays were the most commonly used test items. However, students were not commonly assessed for skills and attitude. The students indicated they mostly preferred short essay questions, followed by practical-based examinations, long essay questions, and oral examination. The study identified several challenges to continuous assessment. Practice of assessing students' learning outcomes involves multiple methods focusing on assessing mainly knowledge; however, the assessment of skills appears inadequate, and several challenges appear to be hindering implementation of continuous assessment.

Navigating a culture of evidence: The lived experiences of college of agriculture faculty regarding the academic assessment of students

The accountability movement has created tensions among key actors at institutions of higher education in the U.S. in recent years. As such, a need existed to examine the lived experiences that influenced faculty (n =6) in the College of Agriculture (COA) at [State] University as they engaged in various forms of assessment to evaluate student learning. As a result of our phenomenological analysis, three themes emerged. The themes combined to form the phenomenon’s essence, which was that assessment of student learning outcomes was a product of (a) presage, (b) process, and (c) context variables that shaped faculty’s lived experiences. In particular, presage variables represented the individual traits that influenced the assessment process such as faculty’s beliefs, personal traits, professional backgrounds, and previous teaching experiences. Meanwhile, contextual variables were the unique factors and conditions that affected assessment such as course goals and objectives as well as university policies. Finally, process variables represented the specific activities that affected student learning and instructional practices. Going forward, we recommend that COA’s create faculty development opportunities that encourage faculty to reflect and explore alternative strategies that may enhance learning and promote greater equity in the academic assessment of students.

Application of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model Based on Real Experience in Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Science Learning Subjects of Movement in the Movement of Animals and Plants in Junior High Schools

The research method uses the Hopkins model design which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation and test methods. The results showed that the percentage of student activity in cycle I was 69% (enough), increased in cycle II to 88% (very good), the percentage of teacher activity in cycle I was 72% (enough), increased in cycle II to 91% (very good). Good). Likewise with the assessment of student learning outcomes; the percentage of attitude evaluation in cycle I was 87% increased in cycle II to 90%, evaluation of the realm of knowledge in cycle I for Classical absorption (CA) 74% and Classical Learning Mastery (KKB) 83% increased in cycle II to Classical absorption (CA) 80% and Classical Learning Mastery (PKK) 93%, the assessment of the domain of skills in cycle I was 69% increased in cycle II to 94%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model based on real experience can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students in learning science on the movement of animals and plants at SMP Negeri 1 Tombusabora Sindue.
