Analisis Dampak Penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Manajemen

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) on management decision-making at Drs. H. Abu Hanifah Hospital, Central Bangka Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) approach. This study involved 17 participants who were directly related to the use of SIMRS in hospitals. The results of the study show that even though SIMRS has been implemented well, there are still several obstacles such as incomplete data that affects employee performance. However, in general, SIMRS has a positive impact on information quality and operational efficiency in management decision-making. Recommendations for improvement include improvements in service aspects and periodic system updates.

A Multifaceted Assessment of the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service Within a Regional Australian Hospital

Background: Medical and mental health conditions have a reciprocal relationship, with each impacting the other. Consultation–liaison psychiatry (CLP) is a sub-speciality that addresses psychiatric comorbidities in the general hospital system and positively impacts hospital resources through its service aspects of ‘consultation’ and ‘liaison’. This multi-faceted evaluation aims to describe and evaluate the characteristics of a regional CLP service. Methods: Retrospective evaluation of all referrals accepted by CLP between May 2021 and 2022 were reviewed through the hospital’s electronic records. An evaluation tool was designed to assess multiple aspects of care, including the source of referrals, the reasons for referral, patient demographics, how quickly the patient was seen, information on their mental health, and the details and timeframe of CLP involvement. Findings: There were 147 patients included in this study. Doctors were the primary referrers (92%). A total of 94% of patients were reviewed within 24 h of the referral being received. Referral reasons were balanced across diagnostic clarification/review, medication review, and risk review. A large proportion of referrals were aged > 60 years. There was a large proportion of patients who lived rurally, requiring hospital transfer. CLP involvement was primarily required to provide a diagnosis (91% of patients) and provide pharmacological management advice (88%). Conclusions: The CLP service currently operates with limited resources, and without additional support, the sustainability of the service will become increasingly challenged due to population ageing. It is essential that we address this issue to ensure that the community’s needs are met effectively.

Quality of E-KTP Services at The Population and Civil Registration Office of Majalengka Regency

Employees at the Population and Civil Registration Office (DISDUKCAPIL) of Majalengka Regency experienced several problems in serving the making of E-KTP, including, the infrastructure at the Majalengka Regency Disdukcapil was inadequate such as an unstable internet network, the number of computer devices that were still lacking, and the number of blanks that were often empty, as well as some elderly people who did not have an E-KTP because they did not understand the system. This study aims to determine the quality of service in the making of E-KTP in the Majalengka Regency Disdukcapil, according to an analysis based on the theory of Zeithami, Parasuraman, and Berry (2008) to measure good service performance referring to Law No. 24 of 2013 in which there are 5 aspects of public services, namely: service procedures, service time and completion, service costs, facilities and infrastructure. The research was carried out using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the quality of e-KTP services at the Majalengka Regency Population and Civil Registration Office is not optimal, because there are still several problems, namely inadequate infrastructure, even though in providing E-KTP servers is quite good and in conveying information about making E-KTP, as evidenced by the active social media from the Majalengka Regency Disdukcapil.

PENGARUH KUALITAS PELAYANAN TERHADAP MINAT NASABAH DALAM MENGGUNAKAN MOBILE BANKING DAN INTERNET BANKING (Studi Kasus Pada PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk KCU Pangkalpinang Tahun 2024)

This study seeks to examine the impact of customer interest in utilizing mobile banking and internet banking services from four perspectives: service aspects, customer understanding aspects, target accuracy aspects, and timeliness aspects. The case study is conducted at PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk KCU Pangkalpinang in 2024. The study employs a survey method using a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The sample includes 100 customers of BCA Bank KCU Pangkalpinang who utilize mobile banking and internet banking services. Data analysis is performed through multiple linear regression to investigate the relationship between the independent variables (service aspects, customer understanding aspects, target accuracy aspects, and timeliness aspects) and the dependent variable (customer interest in using mobile banking and internet banking). The findings of the study reveal that the service aspect has a partial impact on customer interest in using mobile banking and internet banking. Similarly, the customer understanding aspect, target accuracy aspect, and timeliness aspect each partially influence customer interest in these services. When considered together, the service quality variables—comprising the service aspect, customer understanding aspect, target accuracy aspect, and timeliness aspect—have a positive and significant effect on customer interest in using mobile banking and internet banking.

Empowering or Exhausting? COVID-19 Experiences of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) in Kerala

The study aims to understand the nature and intensity of Accredited Social Health Activists’ (ASHAs) work and its gendered significance in social and healthcare contexts, specifically during the COVID-19 scenario, by critically exploring the family, community and state responses as well as the work’s impact on their personal, relational and environmental levels. Employing a qualitative survey method, in-depth interviews were carried out with 52 ASHAs shortly after the pandemic. The findings reveal that while ASHAs view the altruistic, community service aspect of their work as empowering, the state must recognise the burden of underpaid community care work on women, which is exhausting and contributes to time poverty and a lack of leisure. This study advocates for policy interventions to regularise ASHAs’ services and increase their remuneration from a gender justice perspective.

Additionally, it discusses how AI enhances operational efficiency through automated billing and inventory management, and improves security via anomaly detection and behavioral biometrics. Case studies of Adobe Creative Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are presented to illustrate real-world applications of AI in subscription services. The article concludes by emphasizing the paradigm shift AI represents in customer engagement, operational optimization, and revenue generation for subscription businesses, forecasting continued innovation and opportunities in this rapidly evolving sector.

Public Services in the Field of Basic Health for Mothers and Children in Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province

Maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate are an indication of the low level of population welfare. Likewise, the high disparity in socio-economic levels - rich and poor, between regions and between urban and rural areas. Therefore, health services for mothers and children are the main priority in health development. The government at all levels of government has established and implemented health programs for mothers and children. However, it has not provided a good impact on the aspect of basic public services. Health services for mothers and children through integrated service posts are more visible at the village level and require serious attention from the government because they are very far from health service centers such as regional hospitals. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe and explain basic public health services for mothers and children in Talawaan District, North Minahasa Regency. This study is considered important from the aspect of public health and related to strengthening social capital in the superior fields of social humanities, arts and culture as well as the development and strengthening of institutional systems, health policies, and community empowerment in the superior fields of health and medicine in the Sam Ratulangi University research strategy plan. Data were collected through interviews with the Head of the Health Service and Health Center, Posyandu officers and pregnant mothers and those with toddlers. Observations were made by looking directly at basic health services in Talawaan District. Secondary data were collected during health service activities and conducting electronic searches on Google Scholar and ResearchGate. The analysis was carried out based on the stages of reduction, interpretation, drawing conclusions and verification/triangulation. The research findings that public services in the field of basic health are accessible, acceptable, fair and safe for mothers and children but are not yet fully efficient and effective in their implementation. The concept found from this study is that the community needs basic health services for mothers and children that are easy to access and accept, fair to all levels of society and medically safe. While the principles of efficiency and effectiveness are more about the interests of the organization in the use of resources and achieving goals.

Kepuasan Mahasiswa terhadap Biro Administrasi dan Registrasi Akademik di Universitas Stella Maris Sumba

This research aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the services provided by the Academic Administration and Registration Bureau at Stella Maris University, Sumba. The method used in this research is a survey with a quantitative approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to students from various study programs. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques to describe the characteristics of respondents and their level of satisfaction with various aspects of service, including speed of service, quality of information, and the attitude of bureau officers. The research results show that the majority of students are satisfied with the services provided, although there are several aspects that need to be improved, such as response time to questions and completeness of the information provided. This research provides recommendations for service improvements, including increased training for bureau staff and the development of more efficient information systems. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to improving the quality of academic administration services at Stella Maris University, Sumba.

Taking what you get or Getting what you Need: A Qualitative Study on Experiences with Mental Health and Welfare Services in Long-Term Recovery in First-Episode Psychosis.

How people in long-term recovery (clinical and personal) in first-episode psychosis (schizophrenia and bipolar spectrum disorders) experience the mental health and welfare services they interact with is not frequently studied but has significant implications. We therefore aimed to explore which aspects of these services people with FEP evaluate as important for their long-term recovery. Twenty participants in clinical and/or personal recovery from two Norwegian long-term follow-up studies after FEP (TOP 10-year and TIPS 20-year) were sampled for this interview-based qualitative study. The research-team included service user experience. A deductive analysis based on personal accounts of recovery generated five service aspects. Few specific types of interventions were reported to promote recovery although medications, psychotherapy and employment support were mentioned. Participants valued services based in collaboration and that focused on their resources rather than limitations. The importance of long-term follow-up with a consistent aim was highlighted, as was the inclusion of caregivers and peers. Welfare services contributed to recovery by supporting basic needs and safety, but some experienced social exclusion when not participating in the labor market. This study is unique in exploring the role of services, including welfare, in long-term FEP recovery from service user perspectives. Participants evaluated that services played a more indirect role in long-term recovery by supporting their personal resources, although what they needed from services had frequently not been offered. Their expertise by experience contributes valuable knowledge. Better service coordination and consistent implementation of this knowledge are crucial to support recovery in FEP.

This panel introduces the READCON curriculum: Library Readiness, Advocacy, and Community Empowerment During Challenging Conditions The curriculum equips library workers with soft skills to develop relationships with their communities, partnering more effectively for advocacy. Building on the highly successful Get Ready Stay Ready Community Action Toolkit (GRSR), this curriculum builds foundational skills for library workers to engage in constructive dialogue on potentially divisive aspects of library programming, service, and material challenges. READCON takes Get Ready Stay Ready a step further by providing library workers with the soft skills needed to encourage community members to use the action steps included in the GRSR toolkit. Both resources are highly adaptable, multi-lingual, open-source learning tools developed by experts in academic, public, and school librarianship, education and family law, crisis communications, community advocacy and relations, and youth leadership.

Does robotic service quality determine robotic restaurant diners’ engagement behaviors? Role of customer engagement and attachment to the restaurant

PurposeRobotic restaurants are very novel, and service robots in these restaurants are identified as offering unique advantages in terms of efficiency, tireless service and potentially lower operational costs. However, studying customer engagement with the robots can reveal aspects of robotic service that resonate with diners. Understanding how diners interact with robots can help create a more engaging and enjoyable atmosphere, bringing more business to restaurants. Building on the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory and place attachment theory, the purpose of this paper is to study the impact of the robotic service quality (RSQ) on the customer attachment to the robotic restaurant with the mediating role of the different dimensions of the customer engagement, like the Absorptive Attention, Enthusiastic Participation and Social Connection. Subsequently, the impact of the customer attachment to the robotic restaurant on different dimensions of customer engagement behaviors like augmenting, co-developing, influencing and mobilizing behaviors was also studied.Design/methodology/approachThe cross-sectional data from 786 robotic restaurant diners in India who answered the self-administered structured questionnaires is utilized for this descriptive study. The study employed a purposive sampling strategy. The SMART-PLS 4.0 program was used to run structural equation modeling and analyze the data.FindingsThe results indicate that customer engagement dimensions like Absorptive Attention, Enthusiastic Participation and Social Connection differentially mediate the relationship between RSQ and customer attachment with the robotic restaurant. Customer attachment to the restaurant and the robotic services subsequently positively impact customer engagement behaviors.Research limitations/implicationsThe study relied upon cross-sectional data from the Indian population above 18 years to test the proposed model. Further studies could test the model across different populations to generalize the study results.Originality/valueThis study addresses the need to investigate robotic restaurant diners’ engagement behaviors. By testing place attachment theory and the SOR framework, this study is the first to show that RSQ will impact the customer attachment with the robotic restaurant and that different dimensions of customer engagement mediate the relationship. It also validates the previous research findings that customer engagement is not a single global construct, and different sub-dimensions are to be explored. This study is also the first to show customer attachment to the robotic restaurant will impact customer engagement behaviors differently.

How Can Digital Villages Improve Basic Public Services Delivery in Rural Areas? Evidence from 1840 Counties in China

Digital transformation is spreading from urban to rural areas, and the construction of digital villages has become a key growth point for rural sustainable development globally. Digital villages improve the level of basic public services delivery in rural areas via the penetration of digital technology. However, few studies have empirically investigated the theoretical mechanisms underlying the impact of digital villages on various aspects of rural basic public services. To address these gaps, this study investigates the impact mechanisms of digital villages on rural basic public services delivery in terms of accessibility, equity, agility, holistic nature and participation. Using 1840 counties in China as the research sample, this study applies the entropy method to extract a composite index of basic public services and performs correlation, regression, and heterogeneity analyses to examine the effects of digital villages on basic public services delivery. Empirical analysis results show that the construction of digital villages is positively associated with the level of basic public services in rural areas. Meanwhile, heterogeneity analysis results confirms that this relationship is mainly observed in eastern counties but not observed in central and western counties. These findings provide a basis for using digital inclusion to improve basic public services delivery in rural areas and achieve balanced development across regions.

The Impact of Intelligent Transportation Technology on The Operational Efficiency of Public Transportation Enterprises

With the acceleration of urbanization, the public transport system is facing increasingly severe challenges. How to improve the operational efficiency of public transport enterprises has become an urgent problem to be solved. Intelligent transportation technology, with its advanced information technology means, provides a new solution for the operation management of public transportation enterprises. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of intelligent transportation technology on the operational efficiency of public transportation enterprises. Through the field investigation and data analysis of a number of public transportation enterprises, the application of intelligent transportation technology in bus scheduling, vehicle tracking, passenger information service and other aspects is studied. The results show that the application of intelligent transportation technology significantly improves the operating efficiency of public transportation enterprises, which is reflected in shortening the driving time, reducing the empty driving distance, and improving passenger satisfaction. In addition, the study also found that smart transportation technology can help reduce operating costs and reduce environmental pollution. Future research will further explore the application of smart transportation technology in a wider range, and put forward corresponding policy recommendations, with a view to providing technical support for the sustainable development of public transportation enterprises.

Implementation of Public Service Policy in Agile Government Study at Public Service Mall of Parepare City

The aim of this research is Implementation of Public Service Policy in Agile Government Study at Public Service Mall of Parepare City). The method used in this research is a qualitative research method approach. The focus of research on the Implementation of Public Service Policy in the Agile Government perspective at the Public Service Mall in Parepare City will be focused on two main aspects, namely the implementation process and its impact on service effectiveness. The results of this research show that the Implementation of Public Service Policy from an Agile Government perspective in the Parepare City Public Service Mall towards regulatory changes, community needs, and ever-changing market demands. The Public Service Mall in Parepare City has shown improvements in various aspects of public services, although there are some areas that still need further improvement.

Analysis of Mapping the Private Sector Involvement in Correctional Institution Development and Operation Based on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model

This study integrates various views on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in correctional institution based on the experiences of various countries (United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Japan, Canada). Referring to the terminology of PPP in a broad sense, the correctional institution PPP models according to this study are: 1) the “private governance” model; 2) the “hybrid management” model; 3) the “service infrastructure” model; and 4) the “contracting out certain limited functions” model. The characteristics of the four correctional institution PPP models are mapped in the task specifications in correctional institution, both in the development and operation stages of correctional institution. In the correctional institution development stage, there are design, construction and financing. In the correctional institution operation stage, there are accommodation services or building maintenance; management and administration; and correction services. Only the “private governance” model regulates the involvement of the private sector in all stages of correctional institution development and operation. Through an analysis of the terminology of “correctional institution” and correction function, this study elaborates on the characteristics of the four correctional institution PPP models by mapping private sector involvement in correctional services (order, amenity and service) which show the specific functional characteristics of correctional institution. The “private governance” model allows private sector involvement in all three aspects of correctional services, while the “service infrastructure” model does not allow the private sector to be involved in all aspects of the correctional services in question. The “hybrid management” model and the “contracting out certain limited functions” model allow private sector involvement in the amenity and service aspects, but not in the order or custody aspects. The Construction and Application of Evaluation Index System of Rural Public Digital Cultural Service Accessibility

ABSTRACTThis research takes the accessibility of rural public digital cultural services as the research object. Based on the accessibility framework and system evaluation theory, an evaluation index system is constructed through investigation and analysis. Firstly, through on‐site investigation and interviews, explore service accessibility factors and establish a feature factor model; Secondly, based on industry norms, an evaluation system was constructed that includes primary, secondary, and tertiary indicators, and was revised and validated through empirical analysis; Finally, the AHP fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was applied to study the indicator system. The results indicate that the accessibility of public digital cultural services is good, but still needs to be improved, and improvement path suggestions are proposed from the aspects of resource supply, services, organization and management, etc. The research enriches the evaluation system of public cultural services and provide reference for the government to improve public digital cultural services.

Banking Preferences and Perceptions Among College Students: A Study on Influential Factors and Service Satisfaction

This study investigates customer perceptions of their choice of bank among college students, focusing on factors influencing their banking decisions. Through a survey of 150 respondents, the study reveals that most students prefer commercial banks, valuing service quality and security. The majority have not utilized bank loans or relief measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dissatisfaction with service or limited options are common reasons for considering a bank switch. While respondents generally rate their banks positively, there are varied opinions on employee behavior, individual attention, and operating hours. The findings indicate that while overall perceptions are favorable, there is room for improvement in specific service aspects. This research provides insights into student banking preferences and highlights areas for banks to enhance their service offerings.

E-taxing maturity in developing economies: evidence from corporate tax payers in Ghana

Purpose The adoption of e-taxing plays an important role in modernizing tax administration. Ghana, like many other developing countries, has adopted e-taxing to modernize its revenue collection processes and improve its tax-to-GDP ratio. This study aims to examine the current state of e-taxing maturity in Ghana, focusing on the advancements made and what can be done to achieve a mature e-taxing system. Design/methodology/approach Through qualitative design, interviews were conducted with Ghana Revenue Authority, National Information Technology Agency and Businesses to provide an in-depth understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improving e-taxing maturity. Findings The study reveals mixed e-taxing maturity. While the digital service aspect of e-taxing has seen progress, digital infrastructure, digital analytics, digital integration and digital culture hinder the full actualization of mature e-taxing. Research limitations/implications The findings suggest the need for a comprehensive plan that addresses regulatory, cultural, technical and organizational aspects to drive digital transformation in e-taxing tax implementation. Social implications The lack of resilient infrastructure, especially in rural areas, can worsen societal inequalities. Owing to the lack of telecommunication infrastructure and poor internet connectivity in rural areas, businesses in these areas may lack the needed information for business growth and expansion. This can result in unfair treatment of rural businesses widening the inequality gap between businesses in urban areas and rural areas. Therefore, the study is important from the standpoint that implementing the recommendations will help to bridge the gap between businesses in urban areas and rural areas. Originality/value To the best of the author’s knowledge, this study is among the first to conduct an empirical study on e-taxing maturity in Ghana.

PERAN BINA TAQWA DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER ISLAMI DI MASYARAKAT: SEBUAH PENDEKATAN PENGABDIAN

Community Service (KKN) is one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the aspect of community service. This study examines the role of Bina Taqwa in building Islamic character in society through a community service approach from UINFAS Bengkulu KKN Batch III students in providing religious guidance programs for the people of Sido Luhur Village, Seluma Regency. The problems faced by the community service partners include the lack of community understanding of women's fiqh and tajwid in reading the Qur'an. This community service activity was carried out at the Miftahul Jannah ta’lim assembly in hamlet 1-2 related to strengthening and mentoring fiqh of worship. This study uses a qualitative research method using a literature study type of research. The results of the research from this program are effective in increasing community understanding, especially housewives, of women's fiqh and tajwid of the Qur'an. The participatory approach used in this program succeeded in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and motivating participants to study religious teachings more deeply.
