Implementation of Adaptive ASN Core Values ​​through The Development of Digital Teaching Materials Based on Google Sites and YouTube in Publication Media Materials

This research aims to produce digital teaching materials based on Google Sites and YouTube in published media materials for scientific writing training that fulfil aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness as part of efforts to realize the Core values ​​of Adaptive A.S.N. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the A.D.D.I.E. model. The instruments used in this research include an assessment sheet for the validity of teaching materials, an assessment sheet for the practicality of teaching materials, and evaluation questions to measure the effectiveness of teaching materials. Digital teaching materials are valid if the assessment results from experts are at least in the excellent category. Digital teaching materials are said to be practical if the assessment results from respondents are at least in the excellent category. Teaching materials are effective if the average test score is more than 75. After going through research and development, a product was obtained through digital teaching materials based on Google Sites and YouTube on published media materials for scientific writing training that met the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of this research show the contribution of trainers as part of A.S.N. in implementing the core values ​​of Adaptive A.S.N. Apart from that, the results of this research can be an example of developing digital teaching materials that are suitable for training and will have an impact on improving the quality of training management.

Investigating the stability of a cerebral vasodilator drug using chromatographic methods: Evaluation of methods’ practicality and environmental aspects

A vinca alkaloid; vinburnine (VNB) is utilized as an effective vasodilator. As a cyclic amide-containing drug, it is likely susceptible to hydrolytic degradation. This study examined the degradation profile of VNB, findings indicated that VNB undergoes degradation solely in the presence of alkali, generating a carboxylic acid derivative (DEG). The present study aimed to design and apply green TLC-densitometric and RP-HPLC assays for concurrently measuring VNB and its degradation product for the first time. TLC-densitometric assay was carried out on silica gel 60 F254 TLC plates and a developing system of ethyl acetate: methanol: triethylamine (6:4:0.05, by volume) and detection at 230 nm. RP-HPLC method depended on a C8 column and a mixture of methanol: water (95:5, v/v). The rate of flow was 1 mL/min and UV detection at 230 nm. The proposed assays were used for prediction of the degradation behavior of VNB under the mentioned conditions and then applied for quantitation of VNB in its commercially available capsules. Four distinct metric approaches; National Environmental Method Index (NEMI), Analytical Eco-Scale, Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI), and Blue Applicability Grade Index (BAGI) were utilized to assess the chromatographic method’s ecological effect. Findings obtained from the provided methodologies were contrasted statistically with the stated HPLC method using Student’s t and F-tests. The analysis revealed that there were no significant differences between them. The established methods were verified in accordance with the recommendations of the International Council for Harmonization (ICH), and all the outcomes were deemed to fall within the permissible limit.

Developing school laboratory activities design by utilizing android-based digital applications in savanna ecosystem of Ranca Upas

Smartphone utilizing in learning was widely implemented in the digital technology era. This research aims to utilize Android-based digital applications to develop laboratory activity designs in the savanna ecosystem of the Ranca Upas, Ciwidey, West Java. The descriptive method was used to analyze the quality of existing laboratory activity design and develop alternative laboratory activity design to support student practicum. The reconstruction explanation was carried out following the stages analyze, create, try, and reconstruct (ANBUCOR). The initial stage involved analyzing laboratory activity design from the aspects of curriculum, competence, practicality, and knowledge construction. The pilot test showed that the Android digital application provided clear and systematic guidance for students in laboratory activities, with features for measuring abiotic factors, species identification, and observation notes. Based on the feasibility analysis according to the Vee diagram. Laboratory activity design is classified as feasible but requires adjusting the objects identified in the procedure and leading questions with focus questions. Final reconstruction was conducted based on the test team's feedback and Vee diagram analysis. The results showed that the application made the practical learning more interactive and improved students' understanding of the savanna ecosystem. The revised laboratory activity design serves as an effective reference for teachers and students in out-of-class laboratory activities.

Traumatic Brain Injury as a Public Health Issue: Epidemiology, Prognostic Factors and Useful Data from Forensic Practice.

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) represents a major public health problem, being a leading cause of disability and mortality among young people in developed countries. Head trauma occurs across all age groups, each experiencing consistently high rates of mortality and disability. This review aims to present an overview of TBI epidemiology and its socioeconomic impact, alongside data valuable for prevention, clinical management, and research efforts. Methods: A narrative review of TBI was performed with a particular focus on forensic pathology and public health. In fact, this review highlighted the economic and epidemiological aspects of TBI, as well as autopsy, histology, immunohistochemistry, and miRNA. Results: These data, together with immunohistochemical markers, are crucial for histopathological diagnosis and to determine the timing of injury onset, a fundamental aspect in forensic pathology practice. There is compelling evidence that brain injury biomarkers may enhance predictive models for clinical and prognostic outcomes. By clarifying the cause of death and providing details on survival time after trauma, forensic tools offer valuable information to improve the clinical management of TBI and guide preventive interventions. Conclusions: TBI is one of the most common causes of death today, with high costs for health care spending. Knowing the different mechanisms of TBI, reduces health care costs and helps improve prognosis.

Exploring the Practical Teaching Mode of Language Laboratory based on Artificial Intelligence

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, its application in the field of education is becoming more and more extensive, especially in the teaching mode of language laboratory, AI technology shows great potential and innovation space. The purpose of this paper is to explore the practical teaching mode of language lab based on artificial intelligence, and to reveal its advantages and challenges in language learning by analysing the current status of the application of AI technology in teaching. This study aims to explore the in-depth analysis of the research on the practical teaching mode of language labs based on artificial intelligence. Firstly, it introduces the problems of language labs and analyses the limitations and problems of traditional labs. Secondly, the language laboratory solution measures are elaborated in detail to construct the practical teaching mode of language laboratory based on artificial intelligence. Then, the practical teaching mode of language laboratory based on artificial intelligence is explored. Finally, the application value of the language laboratory of artificial intelligence in the aspects of linguistic research and teaching practicability is discussed. As an innovative application of educational technology, the language laboratory of artificial intelligence has a positive role in promoting the transformation of the modern language teaching mode, and provides new perspectives and methods for foreign language teaching. This paper focuses on the design and construction of the practical language teaching mode of artificial intelligence. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, its application in the field of education has become increasingly widespread. In language teaching, the construction of an AI-based practical teaching model can help to improve teaching efficiency and quality and stimulate students’ interest in learning. This paper elaborates the design principles, construction elements, implementation process and effect evaluation of this teaching mode from various aspects.

실천적 역사인식으로서 역사 문해력의 성격과 구성요소

This study aims to elucidate the nature and elements of ‘historical literacy as practical historical consciousness’. The practicality discernible in historical texts can be divided into the practicality of historical agents, text authors, and learners. ‘Reading the practicality of the historical agent’ is to explore the purpose he/she wanted to achieve through the recognition of the historical situation and the analysis of his actions. ‘Reading the text author’s practicality’ focuses on inferring why the author selected the contents in the text and construct the text in such way. ‘Reading the learner’s practicality’ is reading the text in light of the social problem he/she is trying to solve. These aspects of practicality and the interaction between knowledge, inquiry and historical consciousness must be considered and the critical perspective should be involved in extracting the elements that constitute historical literacy. This study’s attempt to concretize the meaning of historical literacy around practicality may offer meaningful insights for reconstructing the teaching and learning of historical literacy around activities connected to students’ lives.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BIG BOOK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

This research aims to produce big book learning media for students' literacy skills in the material of recognizing the syllables "ga-, gi-, gu-, ge-, go-, gem-, gar-, and gim-" in class I Indonesian language learning SD Negeri 139 Palembang which is valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process. The quality of the products developed is assessed from the aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research method is an R&D research and development method using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative data analysis for validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results of this research show that this research produces a valid, practical and effective product. Valid based on the results of the validity assessment of 90.44%, practical based on the results of student and teacher assessments of 89.25%, and effective based on the results of the effectiveness assessment of 83 %. So it can be concluded that the big book media on students' literacy skills in learning Indonesian is valid, practical, and effectively used in the learning process.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ISPRING SUITE PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISI DATAR

This research aims to develop ispring suite-based learning media on flat side space building materials reviewed from the aspects of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness. The research uses the R&D method, namely (Research and Development), and uses the ADDIE learning design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The media developed uses ispring suite software, which is software used to create interactive learning media in the form of material presentations, material videos, practice questions, and quizzes. The test subjects in this study used individual and small group trials. The individual trial was 3 students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah and for the small group trial, namely 13 students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The results of this study, according to the assessment of media experts and material experts, show that ispring suite-based learning media obtained criteria suitable for use with an average score of 4.1. The results of the trials conducted on individual trials and small group trials showed that the ispring suite-based learning media obtained very practical criteria with an average score of 4.3. The ispring suite-based learning media also obtained very effective criteria with an average N-gain score of 0.87 based on the results of individual trial tests and small group trial test results.

Ultrasound Imaging in Knee Osteoarthritis: Current Role, Recent Advancements, and Future Perspectives.

While conventional radiography and MRI have a well-established role in the assessment of patients with knee osteoarthritis, ultrasound is considered a complementary and additional tool. Moreover, the actual usefulness of ultrasound is still a matter of debate in knee osteoarthritis assessment. Despite that, ultrasound offers several advantages and interesting aspects for both current clinical practice and future perspectives. Ultrasound is potentially a helpful tool in the detection of anomalies such as cartilage degradation, osteophytes, and synovitis in cases of knee osteoarthritis. Furthermore, local diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic operations pertaining to knee osteoarthritis can be safely guided by real-time ultrasound imaging. We are constantly observing a growing knowledge and awareness among radiologists and other physicians, concerning ultrasound imaging. Ultrasound studies can be extremely useful to track the response to various therapies. For this specific aim, tele-ultrasonography may constitute an easy tool aiding precise and repeated follow-up controls. Moreover, raw radio-frequency data from US backscattering signals contain more information than B-mode imaging. This paves the way for quantitative in-depth analyses of cartilage, bone, and other articular structures. Overall, ultrasound technologies and their rapid evolution have the potential to make a difference at both the research and clinical levels. This narrative review article describes the potential of such technologies and their possible future implications.

Identification of piRNA Expression Profiles in Vitiligo

Objective: Vitiligo is a systemic dermatological disorder characterized by skin depigmentation due to melanocyte damage and dysfunction. The treatment of vitiligo remains a challenging aspect in dermatological practice. PIWI-interacting RNAs (piRNAs), approximately 24–32 nucleotides in length, are crucial in the epigenetic regulation of developmental processes. However, research on piRNA expression profiling in vitiligo is limited. This study aimed to identify and characterize piRNAs in skin tissues from vitiligo patients and healthy controls. Methods: We compared and analyzed piRNA expression profiles of human vitiligo skin by RNA sequencing. Results and Discussion: Our findings revealed a pronounced preference for uridine (U) at the 5′ end of piRNAs, predominantly originating from repeat and other genomic regions. Notably, we detected 73 differentially expressed piRNAs between the patient and control groups, with 40 piRNAs upregulated and 33 downregulated in vitiligo patients. Bioinformatics analysis indicated that the genes responsible for piRNA production were more prevalent in metabolic processes and implicated in regulating the PI3K-Akt and AMPK signaling pathways. Conclusions: The elucidation of piRNA expression profiles enhances our understanding of their functional roles in the pathogenesis of vitiligo.

Comparing different scoping and mapping review methodologies: A practical example using the nursing mobile workstation.

To provide (1) an overview of core characteristics of scoping and mapping review methodologies and (2) to illustrate the differences and similarities of these methodologies using literature on nursing mobile workstations. Systematic review. Systematic searches were conducted to identify (1) scoping and mapping review methodologies used in the field of nursing and (2) literature on nursing mobile workstations. For each systematic search, two reviewers independently screened all titles, abstracts, and full texts. We conducted narrative syntheses for both review questions. Publications on scoping and mapping review methodologies in the field of nursing were searched in MEDLINE (PubMed), Web of Science, Scopus, and CINAHL (September 2022). Publications on nursing mobile workstations were searched in MEDLINE (PubMed), CINAHL, and Web of Science (April 2022). We identified six scoping and mapping review methodologies (aim 1): bibliometric analysis, evidence mapping, focused mapping review and synthesis, and scoping review. The methodologies aim to provide a graphical, tabular, or narrative overview without a formal critical assessment of the literature. We provide an overview of key variables that reflect the different focus of these methodologies. We also included 26 publications on nursing mobile workstations (aim 2). Nineteen different terms were used to describe the workstations. An overall definition of the nursing mobile workstation was not found. Scoping and mapping methodologies are regularly applied in nursing research. Although there is overlap between the different methodologies, we found some unique characteristics. Despite the regular use of nursing mobile workstations, little is known about their impact in care processes and important features. Future studies on nursing mobile workstations could explore the impact of the workstations in the care process and the current functions of the workstations. A universal definition of the workstations is warranted. Most publications address aspects of practicability of nursing mobile workstations, but we found no universal definition. Little knowledge is available on the impact of the workstations in clinical practice.

VISUALISATION OF THE EVENT IN 3D AND CONFRONTING IT WITH THE CONCLUSIONS FROM BLOODSTAIN PATTERN ANALYSIS IN ORDER TO EVALUATE THE VERSION PRESENTED BY THE WITNESS OR SUSPECT

The article presents topics related to the 3D visualisation of the event, the reconstruction of the event on the basis of bloodstain pattern analysis and the verification of versions presented by personal sources of evidence. The text shows whether in Polish investigative and judicial prac-tice, these three issues occur together or separately and what is the relationship between them. The author presents the result of the work based on an extensive library search, an analysis of court records from two district courts and based on his long practice. The discussion covers essential issues related to the practical aspects of combining these fields to create comprehensive documents to streamline motions for litigants. The conclusions of the article allow for a better understanding of the current state of affairs and the development of better solutions for the legal system for the future.

Quality of Physics Teaching Module Based on Problem-Based Learning Model Integrated with PhET Simulation on Energy and Its Transformation

The present work seeks to develop physics learning tools by integrating PhET simulations with problem-based learning models on energy and its transformation on Vocational High School in class X of SMK Negeri 1 Sentani. It applied the 4D model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The developed teaching modules have met the quality criteria of the learning material analyzed based on aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on validity, approximately 85% of the designed learning tools are categorized as Very Valid. Based on practicality, the learning implementation can be effectively applied 87.48%, and students responded very positively with a weight of 4. Meanwhile, students were actively involved based on effectiveness, with approximately 84.24% active participation. Furthermore, based on student learning outcomes, it indicated that 97% of students completed, with only 2 out of 32 students failing. Student learning outcomes tend to be higher in the cognitive domains of C4 (analysis) and C5 (evaluation) compared to C3 (application) and C6 (creation). This research resulted in the suitable learning tools for class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Sentani.

A current role status of micro-ultrasound imaging in prostate cancer diagnosis.

Recently diagnostic field in medicine was enriched by advances in ultrasonography (US) technology, which led to establishment of novel modalities, one of which is micro-ultrasound. Results demonstrated by early studies have been promising, simultaneously rising a question if those new modalities could become an alternative in diagnosis of prostatic carcinoma (PCa). To answer this question, several studies have been conducted where micro-ultrasound have been compared to standard diagnostic tools, such as conventional TRUS or mpMRI. Nevertheless, new technology presents with some limitations, which include inconsistent results, necessity for specialized equipment, need of training for investigators to understand the findings, and external validation. In this publication, we have identified studies that provided evaluation of the accuracy and efficiency of the micro-ultrasound technology. Additionally, analysis of the results provided a better understanding of the novel imaging tool when compared standard modalities in diagnosis of PCa. Increasing number of studies demonstrated that micro-ultrasound carries high detection rate of PCa and clinically significant prostatic cancer (csPCa), suggesting a similar performance to mpMRI and even showing superiority over conventional TRUS. Recent studies have also showed that micro-ultrasound takes active role in improving the detection of csPCa and guidance for prostate biopsy (PBx) as well as further treatment. Moreover, certain practical aspects such as lower costs, decreased waiting time, real-time imaging and application of the imaging tool for patients that are not suitable for mpMRI (contrast allergy, prosthetics etc.) are significant advantages. Analysis of the results still does not provide clear answer whether micro-ultrasound outperforms mpMRI. Further studies are necessary in order to completely understand the potential of this new technology.

Developing Canva-based E-Module of flat surfaces in geometry for eighth

This development research is aimed at developing an e-module of flat surfaces in geometry for eighth graders and describing it based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness aspects. We used the 4D model, i.e., define, design, develop, and disseminate, as the development model and assessment sheets for the e-module as research instruments, later filled out by material and media experts to measure their validity. Other research instruments included assessment sheets for teachers as practitioners to measure practicality, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome test to measure the e-module’s effectiveness. The product was tested on 30 eighth graders, and results demonstrated that the material expert gave a mean score of 4.2 with a good criterion, and the media expert gave a score of 4.8 with an excellent criterion. Accordingly, the e-module developed was considered valid. Practitioners gave a mean score of 4.8 to the e-module, therefore classified as excellent and practical. Student responses were very positive to the e-module at 91.71%, and the classical completeness percentage based on the student learning test results was 96.67%, thereby declaring that the e-module was effective.

Regression based stochastic energy management strategy for a grid connected microgrid using Artificial Electric Field Algorithm

Recent decade has witnessed steep technological advancement in the renewable energy sector due to growing concern of climate change and emission cut target. The lack of availability of fossil fuels and the high price of the same have made the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) as a promising approach for generating clean and sustainable energy at local level. This persuades the implementation of Microgrid (MG) supported with RES, to cater various types of load demand. However, planning and optimizing a MG operation have become challenging due to the intermittent nature of RES and uncertain loads. To address this issue, this paper introduces a Stochastic Energy Management Strategy (SEMS) for a grid connected MG comprising Photovoltaic, Wind Turbine, Fuel Cell, Micro Turbine, Battery Energy Storage and electrical as well as heat energy demand. The volatilities of RES power output and energy demand are modeled via Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) and Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) respectively. The problem is framed as non-linear (NL) dynamic stochastic optimization problem and solved using ‘Artificial Electric Field Algorithm (AEFA)’. Here, minimization of expected value of operational and emission cost are taken as objective functions; while various practicality aspects are modeled as constraints in the problem. Further, the efficacy of the proposed approach is validated around the first central moment of the load. Various case studies are performed to estimate the day ahead optimum operating schedule of the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and to assess the impact of load uncertainties on DER operation and total MG operation cost. Further, the efficacy of the GPR is verified through comparison with MCS based result.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA MATERI GARIS SUDUT BERORIENTASI ETNOMATEMATIKA SENI GERAKAN PENCAK SILAT GASMI

This research aims to describe the process and results of developing ethnomathematics-oriented teaching materials that are valid, practical and effective. This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The instruments used include validation sheet, implementation observation sheet, student response questionnaire, and test question sheet. The subjects of this research were 16 class VII students at SMP Kartika IV-6 Ambulu. The quality of teaching materials viewed from the validity aspect is included in the valid category with the assessment average of media experts is 3.77 with valid category. Material expert assessment average is 3.87 with valid category. RPP validation assessment average is 4.08 in the valid category. Validation assessment average of implementation observations is 4.6 with very valid category. Student response questionnaire assessment average is 4,08 with valid category. Assessment average of test questions is 4.54 with a very valid category. The practical aspect of the LKS was obtained from the results of implementation observations with a score of 87.5% and the results of the student response questionnaire with a score of 84.62% with the category very practical. From the aspect of the effectiveness of the LKS, it can be seen from the student test results with a score of 86.67%. In this way, the ethnomathematics-oriented teaching materials developed meet the aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

Medication use review as a service for pharmaceutical care: Conditions for implementation in pharmacy practice


 
 
 Pharmaceutical care is an aggregated pharmaceutical service based on an innovative approach towards the patient’s pharmacotherapy process. It was introduced into the Polish pharmaceutical law system in 2008, but it was not until the end of 2020 that the list of activities included in this innovative health service was clarified. The delayed initiation of pharmaceutical care means that implementation procedures are lacking, making it difficult to fully implement it into pharmacy practice. The initiating service for pharmaceutical care in pharmacy practice is the medication use review (MUR), which, combined with the pharmacotherapy assessment, has the task of detecting and solving patients’ drug-related problems and thus ensuring safety in the pharmacotherapy process. Such important objectives for medication use review face organisational barriers that make its effective implementation difficult and practically impossible, limiting the scope of pharmaceutical care to the consultative aspect in practice. The aim of the article is to present the implementation conditions of medication use reviews in Polish pharmacy practice, which helped to identify the conditions for effective implementation of pharmaceutical care. Achieving the research objectives requires the use of a variety of research methods. To identify the conditions for effective implementation of medication use reviews, the method of analysis of legal acts was used. Apart from that, the analysis of literature and the method of examination of documents were also implemented, which made it possible to determine whether the Polish pharmaceutical law system creates conditions for effective provision of this service in pharmacy practice. The method of observation (the mystery shopper) was also used to indicate the territorial (subjective scope) scope of the provision of medication use review and to identify barriers to their implementation in Polish organisational and legal realities. All the methods applied made it possible to determine to what extent pharmacist shortages in the pharmacy limit the implementation process. The results of the study were subjected to statistical analysis.
 
 

Industry Practices for Challenging Autonomous Driving Systems with Critical Scenarios

Testing autonomous driving systems for safety and reliability is essential, yet complex. A primary challenge is identifying relevant test scenarios, especially the critical ones that may expose hazards or harm to autonomous vehicles and other road users. Although numerous approaches and tools for critical scenario identification are proposed, the industry practices for selection, implementation, and evaluation of approaches, are not well understood. Therefore, we aim at exploring practical aspects of how autonomous driving systems are tested, particularly the identification and use of critical scenarios. We interviewed 13 practitioners from 7 companies in autonomous driving in Sweden. We used thematic modeling to analyse and synthesize the interview data. As a result, we present 9 themes of practices and 4 themes of challenges related to critical scenarios. Our analysis indicates there is little joint effort in the industry, despite every approach has its own limitations, and tools and platforms are lacking. To that end, we recommend the industry and academia combine different approaches, collaborate among different stakeholders, and continuously learn the field. The contributions of our study are exploration and synthesis of industry practices and related challenges for critical scenario identification and testing, and potential increase of industry relevance for future studies.

Social Network Analysis: A Survey on Process, Tools, and Application

Due to the explosive rise of online social networks, social network analysis (SNA) has emerged as a significant academic field in recent years. Understanding and examining social relationships in networks through network analysis opens up numerous research avenues in sociology, literature, media, biology, computer science, sports, and more. Therefore, certain studies review and discuss some research verticals of SNA, such as viral marketing, information diffusion, clustering, link prediction, and so on, to provide background knowledge and understanding. These studies still lack the SNA process, tools, and practical aspects in multidisciplinary applications. Inspired by these facts, we have discussed the background, process, tools, and application of SNA. First, we have presented a detailed description of the SNA process. Thereafter, we presented a comparative analysis of SNA tools and languages. Finally, we have discussed the various applications corresponding to SNA research verticals.
