Appropriate Technological Innovation Towards An Independent Village Based On Agrotourism In Sumbergedang Village

Sumbergedang Village is one of the villages located in Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province, which has green and cool natural conditions because it is located at the foot of Mount Penanggungan, West Side and has views of Mount Arjuno. Potential natural resources include rivers with a calm flow from springs throughout the year, livestock farming with sheep, goats and fish and around 30 springs. The aim of the Assisted Village Program activities is to exploit this natural potential into agrotourism so that it becomes an independent and prosperous village. The activity method involves direct assistance by the entire program implementation team and 5 students who work in the field for one semester. The activity begins with preparation by determining the schedule & compiling measurement instruments to carry out pre- and post-activity evaluations. Training includes: Building an entrepreneurial spirit, business motivation, digital bookkeeping and marketing, training on the operation of coper and feed ingredient flouring machines, making feed formulas and mixing feed, training on making various chips and drinks, training on the use of chopping machines for packaging chips and packaging drinks as well as Institutional development is directed at fostering group management. The results of the activity include: all partners consisting of livestock and fish farmer groups, village PKK, BUMDES and MSMEs increased their entrepreneurial spirit after receiving business motivation training. The complete result of this Assisted Village activity is that the use of appropriate technology (TTG) in the form of a multipurpose machine is able to increase the weight gain of sheep by more than 150 grams/head/day so that fattening time is shorter. With a fish feed machine, groups can make their own feed, thereby reducing feed costs to Rp. 10,000/ kg feed. The use of a chopping machine can increase the production capacity of chips to 150/200 kg/day and the use of a beverage packaging machine can increase the capacity of sinom drinks to 25 liters/day. The conclusion of this activity is that the application of appropriate technology is really needed by society to increase people's income and welfare.

The objectives of the program are meticulously outlined, detailing the implementation of innovative technological solutions and digital marketing strategies designed to increase production efficiency, product quality, and market reach. The study also discusses the anticipated socio-economic impacts, particularly the potential for sustained community empowerment and economic resilience. The integration of these modern approaches aims to foster long-term sustainability and competitive advantage for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Aceh, thereby contributing to broader economic recovery and growth.

Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Peternakan Sapi Potong pada BUMDes Siem Kecamatan Darussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar

BUMDes is a village business institution in the economic sector that is wholly or partially owned by the village and managed by the community and Village Government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and the welfare of the village community that is formed based on the needs and potential of the village. Beef cattle unit as a business unit a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Siem village, Aceh Besar capital. This service aims to develop a series of alternatives for developing a BUMDes cattle business unit in Siem Village, the capital of Aceh Besar. The community service activities was carried on 27 February 2023 in Siem Village, Darussalam Regency, Aceh Besar. The technique of data were collection was done interviews and observation in location. The result community service of this study show that four alternative strategy were beef cattel unit : 1) Improvement of human resources, 2) Availability of food, 3) Increasing the capacity of capital, and 4) Production equipment. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PENTAHELIX MODEL AS A BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FRIED ONION MSMES (MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES) IN PALU

After experiencing natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, several MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Palu, particularly fried shallot MSMEs, have experienced a decline in production. Various measures have been taken to redevelop the fried shallot business, including the implementation of the Penta Helix collaboration. This study aims to observe the involvement and interrelation of stakeholders within the Penta Helix model in the development of MSMEs in Palu. All involved parties include the government, academics, media, the community, and the business actors themselves.The results of the study indicate that all parties have specific activities in fulfilling their respective roles. The government undertakes activities such as mentoring, issuing Business Identification Numbers (NIB), organizing exhibitions/expos/farmers' markets, conducting training, and providing e-catalog applications. Academics assist in the application of appropriate technology and enhance MSME actors' knowledge related to digital marketing. The media helps market MSME products through social media platforms like Instagram. The farming community plays a role in preparing the raw materials for fried shallots, from planting to harvesting. The fried shallot business actors, as the core participants of the Penta Helix, collaborate, synergize, and support each other in the development of fried shallot MSMEs in Palu.

The organic waste management supply chain performance evaluation strategy uses an Interpretive Structural Modeling approach

National Waste Management Information System shows that the amount of waste handled in Semarang City over the last three years has decreased with an average decline index of 1.06% per year. This is reinforced by the results of interviews with the Semarang City Environmental Service, that the handling of organic waste is still very limited because so far the handling has been more focused on an-organic waste. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate supply chain performance to determine the constraints in organic waste management from upstream to downstream. Based on the research results using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method through a focus group discussion process involving eight experts in the field of waste management, it is known that the supply chain performance for handling organic waste in Semarang City has 11 elements of constraints, which are divided into seven priority levels. The element with the highest priority is related to the availability of organic waste supplies, while the element with the lowest priority is technological innovation and the application of appropriate technology. Improving the performance of organic waste management supply chains should focus on elements according to priority.

Mapping the Landscape: A Review of Digital Health Models for Equitable Access to Universal Health Coverage

Digital health is the appropriate application of technology to enhance the health sector. With Universal Health Coverage (UHC), insufficient money is not a major hindrance to receiving the full range of high-quality healthcare services if and when needed. Strategies, models, and frameworks continue to be formulated to guide operations, as well as in the regulation of healthcare. This study provides a thorough analysis of digital health models for equitable access to UHC by highlighting key factors of these models while identifying and analyzing knowledge gaps. Considering UHC and the aspect of inclusivity as espoused in the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3), which speaks of health for all in a population, this study explores models that cover a general population and were designed with equity as a key component. The study methodology is a scoping review that uses a manual search of digital libraries and repositories, employing tailored search terms. From the results, though models exist that address equity, more work is required to formulate generalizable digital health models for equitable access to UHC, and majorly for developing economies. Moreover, it is a call to consistently adapt models that meet the target needs of a population at any given time.

Application of Appropriate Technology for Making Organic NPK Fertilizer by Utilizing Palm Oil Mill Waste in Bekiung Village

Bekiung is one of the villages in Langkat Regency. Farmers in this village generally cultivate a lot of oil palm plants. The waste is quite large and causes environmental pollution problems. On the other hand, experience problems in the form of scarcity and expensive synthetic fertilizers, subsidized fertilizers that are no longer available, and less fertile soil. This is due to the lack of knowledge and skills of farmers, limited advice and infrastructure in waste processing. The aim of this activity is to increase farmers' knowledge and skills in processing palm oil waste into organic NPK fertilizer, open farmers' insight into the importance of organic fertilizer as a diversification of synthetic fertilizer which is beneficial for soil properties and increase the independence of partners in waste processing. The solution offered to overcome this problem is the introduction of appropriate technology and processing palm oil factory waste into organic NPK fertilizer. The methods used in this activity are socialization and direct practice in the field. The results obtained were the introduction and delivery of technology transfer equipment in the form of a hummer mill, conveyor and simple filter, training and assistance in making organic NPK fertilizer up to packaging. The conclusion of this activity is that it is a beneficial activity for partners because it increases the understanding and independence of partners in processing palm oil mill waste into organic NPK fertilizer which can overcome the problem of the availability of scarce and expensive fertilizer.

Application of appropriate technology for feed supplements in Sukanagalih Village, Tasikmalaya Regency

Feed supplement is useful as a growth promoter, increasing efficiency and feed consumption, helping digestion and metabolism, and improving the quality of livestock products. The aim of this community service is to apply appropriate technology to utilize mangosteen peel and turmeric as feed supplement for poultry in Sukanagalih Village, Tasikmalaya Regency, as well as produce quality feed supplement and improve the skills of farmers in processing the supplement feed. This community service activity is one of the Kosabangsa programs between the Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya as the implementation team and the IPB University as the accompanying team. This activity started from September to December 2023 in Sukanagalih Village, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The method for implementing this activity consists of counseling, training, and assistance to livestock groups. The target partners for this activity were Kelompok Megar Bebek Cihateup and the Berdikari Village-Owned Enterprise (Bumdes Berdikari) with a total of 20 participants each, so the total participants are 40 people. The level of community empowerment increased to 80 – 85% in the knowledge, skills, accessibility, and income categories. The results of this activity are very beneficial for the community, where the application of appropriate technology for processing mangosteen peel and turmeric as feed supplements can increase the added value and selling value of agro-industrial waste products in Tasikmalaya Regency. The application of appropriate technology for the use of supplement feed is able to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in Sukanagalih Village, Tasikmalaya Regency in processing feed supplements.

The Effect of Learning Orientation on Business Performance Through Mediation of Innovation Dimensions in UMKM in Mataram City Indonesia

This research is directed to build a model that can provide predictions of the influence of learning orientation (X1) on the dimensions of innovation (product innovation/Y1; process innovation/Y2; marketing innovation/Y3 and organizational innovation/Y4) as well as the influence of each dimension of innovation on business performance (Z1) of small businesses in Mataram City. Observation data in this study were 78 small business actors, with the criteria of having run their business for at least three years. The analysis tool uses PLS (partial least square) analysis. According to the PLS work procedure, there are two stages of model formation, because the initial model still has indicators with a correlation value of less than 0.70, namely indicators X1.1 and Z1.1. The second model has met the indicator validity and reliability requirements, so there is no indicator removal process. The final model produced meets the predictive relevance requirements (Q2>0). All dimensions of innovation are positively and significantly influenced by learning orientation, but only two dimensions of innovation (product innovation and process innovation) have a positive and significant effect on the business performance of small businesses in Mataram City. This gives an indication of learning orientation as an absolute by the company owner to be made a culture in the organization and should be focused on product aspects and the application of appropriate technology.

Introduction. The article is devoted to topical issues of analysis, assessment and management of IT-risks in the business environment. The application of appropriate technologies enables companies to identify, assess and minimize risks in the decision-making process. Such technologies may include data analysis, risk modeling, and simulation, as well as risk management strategies. Data analysis can help businesses to identify trends and predict possible risks based on previous data. Risk modelling and simulations can help companies to estimate the possibilities that certain risks will become a reality and what are the consequences. For effective business-risk management, it is also necessary to understand what risks types exist. Risks can be associated with changes in management decisions, financial, personnel and infrastructure risks, etc. An important aspect of risk management is the provision of security-related risks, which are becoming increasingly relevant in the context of growing cyber threats and other forms of cybercrimes. The purpose of the article is to reveal the types, methods of risk research in the IT-business, their management and the justification of ways and measures to prevent and avoid them. Results. The types of IT risks are considered, the activities of successful companies in the IT sphere are studied in order to identify tools for influencing the magnitude of risk. The technologies of analysis, evaluation, management of business risks for systematization and development of measures for their prevention and avoidance are studied. The theoretical and practical significance is manifested in the fact that risk analysis in the management of business processes allows enterprises to avoid negative consequences for business and increase the efficiency of financial and economic activities. The factors influencing risks in business are substantiated, an assessment of potential security threats that may arise in the process of working with IT systems is carried out. Conclusions. The conducted analysis of the activities of successful IT companies shows that reducing the level of risk can be achieved with the help of the introduction of technologies, improvement of the company's products/services, the use of insurance poles, the implementation of financial measures, and other tools. Effective risk management at the enterprise is the key to its successful operation.

Sosialisasi Penyediaan Air Bersih dengan Kejadian Diare di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ujung Pandang Baru

The limited supply of clean water to meet the needs of the community in the Jumpandang Baru Community Health Center area is a health problem and obstacle experienced by the community. With shortages and limitations of knowledge, facilities, infrastructure and economy, residents continue to use unhealthy water for household needs. Therefore, the community really needs to be given the knowledge and skills to process clean water to prevent diarrhea in the community. Community service activities in Clean Water Processing aim to: 1) increase knowledge about clean water and the culture of clean living in anticipation of diarrhea in the community, 2) provide technology skills for clean water processing processes in the community. This goal is achieved through activities in the form of outreach, counseling, training and the application of appropriate technology to process clean water. The results achieved are: 1) increased partner knowledge about the importance of clean water for health, 2) partners have the knowledge and skills to process clean water for households. 3). Diarrhea can be avoided so that people can live clean and healthy.

Improving the quality of shellfish products with boiler-based steaming machines in Banjar Kemuning Village, Sedati, Sidoarjo

Shellfish are filter feeder animals that filter food from the mud of their habitat and are used as bioindicators of water pollution. This has an impact on food safety if it does not meet the quality standards of shellfish sanitation. To provide a sense of security to consumers is to reduce some of the hazardous materials either from biological, chemical, or physical hazards. Banjar Kemuning Village is located in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java has five Joint Business Groups (KUB) which are engaged in catching shellfish. Shellfish taken from the waters should be handled related to sanitation processes. One solution for processing shellfish to meet quality standards is the method of steaming shellfish based on a boiler machine. Activities include (1) counseling through face-to-face meetings and discussions, (2) demonstration plots on the application of mussel steaming technology using a steamer boiler, and (3) monitoring and evaluation of post-catch shellfish handling related to sanitation and hygiene. The application of appropriate technology with the boiler-based shellfish steaming method can increase the production and quality of shellfish products.

Pembelajaran Pembuatan Pakan Mandiri dan Penstimulan Moulting Udang bagi Pembudidaya Tradisional

Shrimp farming in Indonesia is dominated by traditional cultivation methods, therefore they do not have sufficient financial access to obtain expensive commercial feed. The Program for Application of Appropriate Technology (PTTG) aims to provide lessons on making independent feed and stimulating shrimp moulting for traditional farmers in Ma'rang District, Pangkajene and Islands Districts using local raw materials. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach model, which emphasizes the active involvement of the community in all activities, is used in this program. The knowledge and skills transferred from this study include the concept of artificial feed and moulting, preparation of raw materials, preparation of feed composition, mixing and weighing of raw materials, and pelleting and supplementation of feed. The results of the pre-test showed that the level of knowledge and skills regarding self-sufficient feed production and the manufacture of moulting-stimulating ingredients were generally in the poor category. However, after the learning activities, the post-test results showed that the level of knowledge and skills increased significantly and was generally in the good category. In general, partners believe that learning items are technically easy to apply, economically inexpensive, and ecologically can reduce agricultural and fishery waste. The lessons learned by traditional cultivators through this program can be utilized optimally in increasing production.

Strategy for Developing Dairy Farming for All-Business Cooperatives in Tandangsari, Sumedang Regency

The livestock sector has proven itself to be a crisis-resistant sector. The Ministry of Agriculture stated that the total national milk demand in 2019 reached 4,332.88 thousand tons. One of the dairy cattle center areas that has developed and become the focus of the Sumedang Regency Government is Tanjungsari District. The breeders joined the Tandangsari KSU. The supply and demand for pure milk has fluctuated at KSU Tandangsari in the last five years. The problems in the dairy cattle business at KSU Tanjungsari are currently related to production factors as inputs in the development of a dairy cattle business including livestock seeds, feed availability, land as living space for livestock, livestock production facilities (procurement of equipment and maintenance of livestock production), labor (breeders), as well as the cost of production.The goal of preparing the RIP is to formulate alternative strategies for developing a dairy cattle business. By identifying strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats based on internal and external factors that affect the dairy cattle business at KSU Tandangsari.The strategy for developing a dairy cattle business is the S-O (1) strategy. Development of cattle population to increase production, (2). Building a place (factory) for processing dairy products, W-O strategy (1). Build a cow nursery, (2). Establishing cooperation with third parties in producing processed HPT, strategy S-T (1). Increasing the quality and quantity of beef cattle, (2). Moving the location of the fresh milk business activity center (MCU), W-T strategy (1). The application of appropriate technology is increased by breeders, (2). Penerapan Teknologi Mesin Pencacah Rumput Untuk Kemandirian Pakan Di Kelompok Ternak Ngudi Makmur

Most of the livelihoods of residents in Klegen Hamlet, Trimulyo, Sleman District are mostly cattle breeders. Feeding with fresh grass needs to pay attention to the dimensions of the grass so that it is easily digested by livestock. This service activity focuses on the application of appropriate technology in the form of a grass chopper that is applied to the Makmur cattle group. The method of implementing the program is by dissemination and counseling on the operation and maintenance of machines. The grass chopper has a simple design that makes it easy to operate and maintain. The application of a grass chopper in the prosperous Ngudi livestock group can increase productivity in chopping grass by up to 30 times compared to the manual chopping process.

The Role of Appropriate Technology in Enhancing Efficiency and Production in Livestock and Agriculture Sectors: A Systematic Review in Indonesia

Indonesia's agricultural sector significantly contributes to the country's foreign exchange earnings through agricultural product exports, including livestock, plantations, and ornamental plants. However, addressing the weaknesses in free-range chickens and other livestock is crucial to sustain population levels and meet organoleptic needs. This systematic review aims to explore appropriate technology development in the livestock and agriculture sectors, focusing on feed processing, animal husbandry management, and increased production. The review includes articles from journals, books, and theses, with data sourced from Google Scholar and Pop8win using specific keywords. The results highlight the effectiveness of appropriate technology in improving feed efficiency, labor efficiency, and production in livestock and agriculture. Consequently, further research is recommended to enhance the application of appropriate technology, contributing to the sustainable development of the agriculture sector in Indonesia. Highlights: The systematic review reveals that appropriate technology positively affects feed efficiency, labor efficiency, and production in Indonesia's livestock and agriculture sectors. The application of appropriate technology in feed processing and animal husbandry management leads to significant improvements in productivity. Addressing weaknesses through appropriate technology can contribute to the sustainable development of the agriculture sector in Indonesia.

Application of Appropriate Technology for Clean Water

Background. The thesis focuses on community service (PkM) conducted by the Ministry of Health Poltekkes institutionally, specifically in the village of Kota Lama II, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The study addresses the inadequate access to clean water and poor sanitation conditions in Mr. Mujadi's house, which is among the families included in the PKH (Program Keluarga Harapan) - a conditional cash transfer program in Indonesia. Purpose. The purpose of this community service project is to improve the living conditions of Mr. Mujadi's household by addressing their water and sanitation issues. The project aims to apply science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) through a direct scientific approach to provide sustainable access to clean water and improve sanitation facilities. Method. The objective of this qualitative research is to explore and understand the application of appropriate technology for clean water supply in Kota Lama II Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The study aims to gain in-depth insights into the experiences, perceptions, and challenges related to the use of appropriate technology for clean water. Results. The results obtained at the end of community service activities in Kota Lama Village II, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, were built 1 unit of Infiltration galleries. The implementation stages include the initial survey, making Infiltration galleries, compiling filter media, and socializing about clean water and operations and maintenance of Infiltration galleries. Conclusion. Well, water filtered from wells using Infiltration galleries looks clearer and cleaner, odorless and tasteless. This has met the requirements for clean water physically and has met the sanitation aspect.

Improved quality and creativity of workers, as reflected by the average level of education which is getting better, has a positive impact on work productivity. Likewise, efforts to improve skills and workforce training accompanied by the application of appropriate technology have an impact on increasing work productivity. Every business or business wants to get business success that utilizes local potential, namely local wisdom in the area, a business is said to be successful if it earns profit, even though profit is not the only aspect that is assessed from the success of a business, but the reason profit is an important factor is because profit is the goal of people who do business. If there is a decrease or instability in profits, the business will find it difficult to operate its business activities and maintain its business resilience. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe Production Creativity on the Success of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) of Klanting in Tahai Baru Village, Maliku District, Pulang Pisau Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. This study involved 4 (four) informants. The results of the study show that production creativity influences business success. Overall there was an increase in sales and turnover. The new production creativity is more advanced than the old creativity. Creative ideas often arise when entrepreneurs see something old and think something new and different. Therefore creativity is creating something from nothing.
