Sistem Employee Attendance System Using Rapid Application Development Method Based on Location Based Service

Employee attendance is the main benchmark in assessing employee performance and discipline, as well as providing important data for company management. The use of information technology, such as computers, has helped companies make decisions effectively. However, some companies face obstacles in the employee attendance process, especially in manual or finger print situations, and absence management. By utilizing GPS technology or similar LBS technology to detect employee presence. In this context, mobile technology, especially smartphones, has an important role in providing fast and accurate access to information. The RAD method is used in making application prototypes with repeated iterations, enabling fast development and efficient improvements. The aim of this research is to apply the LBS method to support absenteeism. This application allows employees to take attendance on time via their smartphones, with attendance data directly stored in the company's servers and databases. In addition, the Global Positioning System (GPS) feature allows tracking the location of employees who are on external service. It is hoped that the results of this research can help companies minimize the problem of employee absenteeism, increase the efficiency of work processes, and provide faster and more accurate access to information. The RAD and LBS methods have proven their effectiveness in overcoming absenteeism problems and speeding up work flow. Apart from that, this research also underlines the importance of employee discipline in achieving company goals.

Penerapan Langchain Retriever dengan Model Chat Openai dalam Pengembangan Sistem Chatbot Hadis Berbasis Telegram

In Islamic studies, the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) hold significant value as guides for behavior and faith. However, access to understanding Hadiths often presents challenges, espe-cially for those who are not Hadith experts. The digitalization of Hadiths is still limited, making it time-consuming to find answers by sifting through the vast amount of available information. This research aims to create an efficient chatbot that provides answers related to Hadiths, including the original sources, quickly. The proposed solution is a technology-based approach through the development of a Hadith chatbot on Telegram, integrated with the LangChain Retriever and the GPT-4-1106-preview chat model from OpenAI. Using LangChain Retriever helps the chatbot find accurate answers by matching user questions with relevant Hadith databases, enhancing the ac-curacy of the chatbot's responses. The GPT-4-1106-preview chat model enables the chatbot to generate natural and context-appropriate responses, improving user interaction. The Rapid Ap-plication Development (RAD) method is applied in system development, through stages of Re-quirement Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cut-Over, including data analysis of Hadiths from the Nine Imam Hadith Books, totaling 62,169 Hadiths. The chatbot's performance evaluation uses the Scoring Evaluator framework with an average evaluation score of 0.97 and quality answer evaluation testing by five Hadith experts with an accuracy percentage of 90%. The Scoring Eval-uator test results indicate that the responses are highly accurate and aligned with Hadith refer-ences, and the quality answer evaluation test on a Likert scale shows respondents strongly agree with the system's answers. This research contributes to laypersons wanting to learn Hadiths by utilizing the chatbot as an interactive and innovative learning medium. Further research can expand the focus to complex interpretations of Musykil al-Hadith and asbab al-wurud to address deeper questions about Hadith interpretation.

Web-Based Laundry Service Information System Using Rapid Application Development Method

In the current era of digitalization, human needs for time make all household and community activities want to be practical, especially such as washing clothes. Especially for people who have busy demands and do not have time to wash clothes, dry and iron so they prefer to entrust their laundry to the services of a laundry or laundry, for the reason of saving time and to concentrate more on completing their work. This study aims to design a service information system that can help in conveying information about laundry and knowing the valid and efficient website-based laundry service information system. This form of research uses the Rapid Application Development method to produce a product and uses a prototype model to design the system. This Information System is the best solution for solving problems in the management of laundry service systems. With the use of computer data technology that is managed becomes faster, reducing time inefficiencies and reducing the occurrence of errors in processing data.

RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI INVENTORY MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) PADA TOKO ABADI JAYA

Toko Abadi Jaya is a trading company in the furniture industry that uses technology to enhance its operations. The company recognizes the importance of technology in accessing fast and accurate information to solve various challenges. Currently, many manual tasks, such as marketing, finance, administration products management, and checking product stock availability can take a lot of time and accuracy. For example, employees need to call other employees in the inventory warehouse to inquire about stock availability. This process hinders efficiency and effectiveness. To resolve this issue, the company has developed an application-based inventory information system. This system enables employees to quickly check the availability of goods without wasting time. The application also generates reports, which aid the owner in decision-making. Therefore, it is necessary to have carefully organized data stored in the database so that the work process is easy in making reports. The design of this application uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design model, with Visual Studio Code as the text editor tool and Laravel as the PHP framework. This aims to facilitate the process of monitoring the stock of incoming goods and outgoing goods and provide benefits to the work process of inputting inventory of goods and providing precise and accurate reports at Toko Abadi Jaya.

Wina Sentosa Bottled Water Distribution System Using Web-Based Distribution Requirement Planning and Trend Moment Algorithms

This research focuses on the problem of PT Anugrah Wina Sentosa, which is a producer of bottled drinking water in Central Sulawesi. The company faces challenges in organizing and improving the efficiency of the distribution of bottled drinking water products. Problems include distribution management that has not been optimized and distribution arrangements at various outlets that have not been mapped. The research objective is to implement a web-based distribution system with the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) algorithm and Trend Moment Algorithm to see the results of sales and distribution predictions. The application development method uses Waterfall with DRP Algorithm and Trend Moment method. The test results show that the system can manage input, edit, and delete data and run DRP calculations as a whole or per outlet. With an error value of 1.71%, the trend moment forecasting system proved to be very accurate in forecasting sales of drinking water products. Thus, the implementation of a web-based distribution system can improve production efficiency and facilitate stock management and product distribution at PT Anugrah Wina Sentosa.

Implementation of Driver Medical Check-Up Web-Based Application at Clinic PT. XYZ Indonesia

<p><strong><em>The Clinic at PT XYZ Indonesia consistently implements Medical Check-Up for all workers, especially the drivers in charge of picking up employees. After carrying out the medical check-up driver process, the admin in managing and compiling patient data reports still uses a manual system. This causes delays in delivering information and reporting daily patient data. The purpose of this final project is to develop a web-based application that can make it easier for admin to carry out medical check-ups for drivers. This Final Project will be developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Under these conditions, this web-based application for driver medical check-up will be developed using PHP 7 and MySQL database. This web-based application driver medical check- up will be equipped with several features, there are login, dashboards, doctors, patients, rooms, blood pressure, view medical records and download reports from medical records.</em></strong></p>

Analysis Impact of Rapid Application Development Method on Development Cycle and User Satisfaction: A Case Study on Web-Based Registration Service

Purpose: This research was conducted to respond to obstacles and inefficiencies in the new student registration system at RA Plus Rabbani. Currently, the conventional method of using physical documents for registration is vulnerable to damage and data loss. Therefore, the proposed solution is implementing a website-based online registration system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This aims to simplify the process, increase accessibility for prospective students, and reduce the costs and time required.Methods: This research commenced by identifying constraints within the conventional student registration system at RA Plus Rabbani through observations and interviews. The development, following the RAD methodology, involved testing with PHPUnit and Blackbox Testing to ensure the functionality of the system aligned with specifications. In addition, usability evaluation was conducted based on the ISO 9126 standard.Result: The research results show that testing on MVC indicated a 100% success rate for each architectural feature. Referring to expectations with a “valid” conclusion on functionality using Blackbox testing, based on ISO 9126 percentage displayed, it is known that the criterion with the most significant value is the understandability characteristic with a value of 83%. Novelty: This research makes a significant contribution by improving student registration services at RA Plus Rabbani through the implementation of various testing techniques, following the research flow offered by RAD. The study also provides substantial references for further research in web-based system development.

Inventory processing is an item data management activity carried out through a shopping budget or donations. This application is designed to provide easy access and speed in recording, managing and monitoring inventory in real-time. The aim of this research is to produce an Inventory Application at the Sergai Youth and Sports Office which can be used to process inventory data to make it more effective and accurate. This research uses data collection methods, namely interviews and literature studies, and for application development methods using the waterfall method. The results of this research obtained a system that is useful for processing inventory item data that will be used at the Youth and Sports Sector Office of DISPORAPARBUD SERGAI.

Application Of Rating Scale Method to Design An Employee Performance Assessment System in a Health Equipment Distributor Company

This research aims to find out how to design and build an employee performance assessment information system using the rating scale method. The data collection methods used in this research were observation, interviews, library research, and a literature study. The research utilized the rating scale as the method for assessing employee performance. The author used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in system development. The review and analysis confirmed this research's success in developing an employee performance assessment information system using the rating scale method. The successful implementation of this system has had a positive impact by providing a solution to the challenge of performance assessment that is less than objective. With the existence of an employee performance appraisal information system, companies now have tools that can reduce the level of subjectivity in performance appraisals. Using the rating scale method in this system provides consistent evaluation standards, increases assessment accuracy, and presents a higher element of objectivity. In conclusion, implementing the employee performance assessment information system opens up opportunities for continuous improvement in human resource management. With a focus on objectivity and measurability, this system has the potential to become an invaluable tool in achieving company goals and vision.

Implementation of object oriented technology concept and rapid application development method in designing church service information system HKBP Perumnas Simalingkar

Designing information systems that are appropriate and in accordance with user needs is a key element of success in designing information systems that are fast, easy, and able to manage various data and information needed by users. In this context, Object Oriented Technology and the Rapid Application Development Method provide a powerful and easy approach to designing information systems. This article describes the stages of the Rapid Application Development method starting from planning, design, development, and implementation in designing information systems tailored to the needs of the HKBP Perumnas Simalingkar Church Service. In addition, this article also discusses the use of Codeigniter 4 which has adopted the concept of Object Oriented Technology to make it easier to create complex information systems. Then this article also discusses the use of the Unified Modeling Language as a tool to model the design of information systems. The combination of the Object Oriented Technology concept and the Rapid Application Development method can increase the acceleration of making information systems and produce powerful information systems.

This research aims to learn how to create and implement a web-based knowledge management system to enhance worker productivity. This study uses literature reviews, interviews, and observation to collect data. The system development methodology used in the research was called Rapid Application Development (RAD). The study's findings suggest that knowledge management and documentation have significantly benefited from this research. The employee knowledge documentation process can be centrally and methodically recorded thanks to implementing the knowledge management system (KMS) used in this study. This improves the efficiency of the time spent conducting knowledge searches. The findings of this study allow staff members to log into the system directly. This technology will enable employees to organize, store, and transfer knowledge effectively. In line with the established key performance indicators (KPIs), having a knowledge management system improves employee performance overall. Employees can access knowledge from anywhere with flexibility when a web-based knowledge management system is implemented, thanks to MySQL database storage and PHP programming. Workers have access to and can contribute to the organization's information, which encourages high flexibility and supports worker mobility. In general, it is intended that the creation of this knowledge management system will serve as a valuable means of advancing knowledge management. Implementing this system is expected to increase employee productivity and performance while optimizing the use of knowledge owned by the company.

Application of Rapid Application Development Method to Design E-Commerce Systems in National Expedition Company to Increase Marketing Effectiveness

This research aims to find out how to design a B2C, online-based e-commerce reservation system for companies. In this research, the data collection methods applied include observation, interviews, and a literature study. The system development process uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) model and UML modeling tools. The development stages consist of requirement planning, design workshops, and implementation. Based on the research results, it was found that the existence of this B2C e-commerce system can help the public find out information about hotels in real time, find out the condition of room availability, and make room reservations online anytime and anywhere via the web. This system consists of customer registration, room reservations, payments, expense input, and viewing monthly income and expense reports. This e-commerce system makes it easier for customers to make room reservations and helps managers monitor the occupancy rate in the form of the ratio of the number of customers who make room reservations to the total number of rooms in the company through the visitor list view menu, which displays a list of the number of rooms and the number of visitors who are staying overnight. This system makes it easier for managers to view reports on total monthly income and total expenses by selecting the menu to view report data on total income and total monthly expenses.

Implementation of Rapid Application Development Method for Designing a Decision Support System to Reduce a Congestion Through Reversal Layout Engineering

This research aims to produce a decision support system to reduce traffic jams through U-turn layout engineering. We carried out data collection by recording traffic at the research site and conducting interviews through questionnaires submitted to the sources. System development stage, where this stage is divided into three major stages according to the method used, namely the RAD method. The three major stages are requirements planning, workshop design, and implementation. Based on the research results, it was found that the modeling of traffic passed by a U-turn can be identified through calculation graphs of volume, speed, density, capacity, degree of saturation, and geometric delay. Traffic flow engineering is implemented by modeling eight open U-turns, which are then eliminated or closed one by one in order to increase vehicle speed and reduce delays on that road section. We also carried out contraflow modeling for comparison. However, the results obtained were no better than U-turn elimination. The largest average number of motorbikes at the end of the week was only 300 motorbikes on Saturday. Meanwhile, the largest average of motorbikes on weekdays was 400 motorbikes on Thursday. The design combines two WFA methods and the fuzzy logic method to present several alternative decisions in the form of final values and bar graphs. These alternatives can be used as material for expert consideration in decision-making. A graph can serve as a benchmark when eliminating U-turns and testing contraflow on the road. Eliminating U-turns and testing contraflow on the road can provide an alternative decision solution using the largest graph.

Application of The Rapid Application Development Method to Develop a Decision Support System for Employee Performance Assessment in a State-Owned Electricity Company

This study aims to create a decision support system for employee performance evaluation that will help managers choose qualified applicants for advancement. In this study, observation, interviews, and literature review were employed as data collection techniques. RAD is the system development methodology that the author used in this study. Black box testing is used for testing. The following conclusions were drawn from the research's findings: first, it created a helpful decision support system that helped managers judge employee promotions by giving them more objectivity. This system helps managers make more accurate and equitable promotion decisions by offering rewards for evaluating employee performance. Second, this research contributes to the field by developing a decision support system visually representing employee performance metrics using graphs. Using the MFEP and MPE methods in the system provides a clear and easy-to-understand picture of employee performance. With graphs, managers can quickly and efficiently evaluate employee performance data, facilitating decision-making.

KIA-CHAT: A QnA Chatbot for Postnatal and Newborn Care

Background: Postnatal care information is relatively less provided than information about prenatal or pregnancy. Several causes of this is the mothers already delivered the baby safely, and soon after the baby's birth, mothers will be busy taking care of the newborns. They frequently miss their postnatal meeting with doctors because of these reasons. Aims: Therefore, this article aims to develop a chatbot in which the knowledge is taken from Buku KIA and focus group discussion. Method: The targeted users of the KIA chatbot are postpartum mothers with live newborns. Rapid Application Development method is used to develop the KIA chatbot. The KIA chatbot is constructed using Google Dialog Flow with Telegram-based messenger. Results: The chatbot evaluation follows the Chatbot Usability Questionnaire with an overall score is 84.23 out of 100. Sixty-nine respondents confess that the KIA chatbot is easy to use and the knowledge is easy to comprehend. But, since the chatbot provides the answer options, the users feel some limitations. One of the limitations is they are unable to type their questions to the chatbot; only type the numerical order of the answer options. Conclusion: However, this limitation also brings another advantage to the mothers who have no time to type because of busy taking care of the newborns.

Application of Rating Scale Method to Design and Construct an Employee Performance Assessment Application System in National Charity Institutions

This research aims to find out how to design and build an employee performance assessment information system using the rating scale method. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and literature study. The research used the rating scale as the employee performance assessment method. The author used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in system development. The researcher designed an employee performance assessment information system using UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools at this stage. In this stage, the system is built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages for the database. The research results show that the developed performance appraisal system can provide significant benefits in monitoring employee performance more efficiently. Using this system makes the performance appraisal process easier, reduces file buildup, and increases the speed of the process from one week to only three days to complete the appraisal report. A data collection center also provides additional value by ensuring the security and orderliness of information.

Application of Rapid Application Development Method in Designing Knowledge Management System to Improve Employee Knowledge and Performance at Ministry of Agriculture

This research aims to design and build a knowledge management system that can accommodate, manage, and disseminate knowledge to increase employee knowledge. In this research, data collection was obtained in three ways, including observation, interviews, a literature study, and a study of similar literature. The author uses the building block knowledge management method, unified modeling language (UML), to design a web-based system with a user interface that is quite easy to use. In this research, the author uses an object-oriented system development method, namely rapid application development (RAD), which uses unified modeling language tools to describe use case diagrams. Based on the research results, it was found that the KMS was built on a web basis using the RAD (rapid application development) approach and UML (unified modeling language) notation for system analysis design and PHP and MySQL for coding and databases. Before the existence of KMS, searching for documents could take 10 minutes, whereas after the KMS application, users only need five minutes to search for stored documents, resulting in a time efficiency of nine minutes. This system also helps employees communicate with each other anytime and anywhere by creating new discussion topics. Apart from fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, discussion forums in this system can be used as a place for employees to collaborate and find solutions.

PT Samsriwi Adi Megah is one of the garment companies. It was found that financial record management still relies on the Microsoft Office Excel application so that it experiences searching for data within a certain period of time. This is because financial data is stored in many Excel worksheets or separate files. To overcome these problems, companies need to develop a website-based financial recording application with the rapid application development method. With an integrated system, the Company can accelerate the data processing process, facilitate report making and improve the right decision making. The application of financial recording applications can improve the efficiency of PT Samsriwi Adi Megah's financial data processing and provide accurate and fast information.

RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PENCARIAN LAUNDRY BERBASIS ARSITEKTUR MICROSERVICE MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAD

Laundry is a business engaged in providing service services, including washing, ironing, and so on. The options for laundry services nowadays are diverse, ranging from clothing, blankets, carpets, shoes, to helmets. Laundry services have rapidly expanded in various locations in the Cibinong area. However, the widespread presence of laundries coupled with a lack of internet-connected information poses difficulties for individuals in urgent need, making it challenging to find the exact and fast location of laundry services. Therefore, the author has designed and developed an application to facilitate the public in quickly and efficiently finding information and locations of laundry services. The author utilized the Java programming language for building the Android application, with PHP serving as the backend. Microservice architecture was employed, dividing the system into small services, and the Rapid Application Development method was adopted as the development approach. Blackbox testing was used as the testing method.

Electronic Archive Design With RC4 Cryptographic Based File Security

The transformation of archival document storage systems is starting to shift from physical formats that require a lot of space and storage equipment to the electronic or digital realm (often called electronic archives). This is considered to reduce the costs of procuring equipment and storage space. In line with changes in paperless storage patterns, the issue of data security and confidentiality becomes important, so that information from documents to be archived can be maintained and cannot be used by irresponsible people. One technique for securing documents digitally is to use cryptography and the algorithm chosen is Rivest cipher 4. The RC4 (Rivest Chiper 4) algorithm was chosen because the execution speed in file encryption is faster than other algorithms. This article aims to implement the RC4 algorithm into an electronic archive (e-Archieve) application. The application development method uses the waterfall method with 5 stages. The application was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, as well as the Rivest Cipher 4 cryptographic algorithm. The result of the application development is an electronic archive website. Every file uploaded to the server can be encrypted by the admin. Encrypted files will change to random characters like a virus. The application was tested using black box testing techniques, where all features worked as expected
