Literature Review on Valuation and Accounting Recognition for Heritage Assets

Historic assets can also be said to be unique assets because of the diverse ways of obtaining them ranging from development, purchase, donation, inheritance, booty, or confiscation and their management and maintenance are protected by the local government (Agustini, 2011). In accordance with applicable laws the validity of a historic asset can be proven by legality to maintain the unlimited existence of historic assets. There are several valuation models for Historic Assets based on accounting standards that apply in the world, namely: Accounting Policy Act, Generally Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP) 103, Financial Reporting Statements (FRS) 30, and Government Accounting Standards Manual (PSAP) 07 (2010). These differences arise due to the conditions and situations in each country in adopting a guideline that regulates accounting for heritage assets as well as the characteristics of heritage assets that are considered unique and diverse (Ouda, 2014). The accounting treatment for historic assets varies greatly depending on the nature of the asset and also the nature of the entity that holds it. Based on the results of the literature review conducted by the author, regarding how accounting records for heritage assets in Indonesia provide diverse results where there are heritage assets that are recorded in accordance with applicable standards and there are also heritage assets that are not in accordance with applicable accounting standards, namely PSAP 07 2010 regarding Fixed Asset Accounting. This is due to the inadequate quality of human resources who understand the assessment and accounting treatment of heritage assets and unclear policies in the treatment of heritage assets.

Development of Strategic Management and Accounting Implementation at Village-Owned Enterprises Regard to Using Former Mining Land

This study aims to delve into the development of strategic management and financial implementation at Village-Owned Enterprises regard to using former mining land that must be managed for productivity in order to increase revenue villages and accounting procedures must be put in place to make financial reporting easier and of higher quality. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and gathering data through literature analysis, direct observations, and intensive interviews. The site research in this study is at VillageOwned Enterprises Manunggal Dadi Mulyo in Kwadungan Gunung, Kledung, Temanggung, Central Java. The results of this study are: (1) The most suitable alternative strategies to be developed for Village-Owned Enterprises Manunggal Dadi Mulyo includes development and promotion strategies; and (2) VillageOwned Enterprises Manunggal Dadi Mulyo has not implemented accounting practices yet in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. This problem arises because of limited financial literacy of the Village-Owned Enterprises management regarding the importance of financial reporting

Design of Merchandise Inventory Accounting Information System Using Web-Based SAK ETAP Standard at Frozen Food Distribution Store

Inventory of trade goods is important in the process of buying and selling activities in a trading company, in this case it can be concluded that inventory is important for every company to supervise and manage the inventory owned. This research was conducted at the Frozen Food Distribution Store located at Rajawali Timur Street No. 68, Ciroyom, Andir, Bandung City, West Java 40182. Frozen Food Distribution Store is a trading company, selling products in the form of Frozen Food types. The method to be used in the implementation of research is the descriptive method is the process of solving problems that will be researched by describing situations that are objects or subjects. There are three data collections, namely, observation, interview and literature review. The author made the design of this application based on the website, the purpose of making this information system is expected that this system will help in carrying out daily activities in trading at the Frozen Food Distribution Store. The use of this information system is to manage inventory well with inventory cards. The results of the author's research on frozen food distribution stores do not yet have a merchandise inventory information system in which financial statements are made, the information system is made to have inventory card features to financial reporting and receive income statements every month to see profits, according to applicable accounting standards. Merchandise inventory information systems can help with weaknesses in the running system.

IMPLEMENTATION OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF MIFTAHUL JANNAH MOSQUE IN BLITAR DISTRICT BASED ON ISAK 35

The mosque is a non-profit organization whose accounting records have been regulated by the Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards No. 35. The problem that has been occurring in society is a lack of knowledge regarding the importance of accountability and transparency in financial management and mosque financial records that have not complied with applicable accounting standards. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of accountability and transparency in financial management at the Great Miftahul Jannah Mosque in Blitar Regency and to analyze the financial reports at the Miftahul Jannah Grand Mosque in Blitar Regency, whether they are in accordance with ISAK 35. The method used is a qualitative case study. The results of this study indicate that accountability and transparency in the financial management of the Miftahul Jannah Grand Mosque as a whole have been implemented and are running well. The Miftahul Jannah Grand Mosque has not presented financial reports in accordance with ISAK 35, only presents financial reports in the form of cash in and cash out only in the General Cash Book and Financial Accountability Report.

The Factors that Influence Earnings Management: Evidence on Basic Materials Sector

Earnings management is an action to modify accounting records so that there is intervention in the financial statements while complying with applicable accounting standards. This study aims to determine the relationship between earnings management with tax incentives, tax avoidance, and financial distress in basic materials sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 – 2021. This research can suggest the companies or investors regarding the factors that influence earnings management practices in a company so that it can be more efficient in making business decisions in order to maintain the stability of the company. The sample selection technique in this study used purposive sampling. The resulting samples were 13 companies and 78 observational data. The analysis technique used is panel data regression using Eviews 12 software. The results show that tax incentives, tax avoidance, and financial distress simultaneously affect earnings management. Partially tax incentives have a negative influence on earnings management, while tax avoidance and financial distress have a positive influence on earnings management.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANCE FOR MASJID AL IJABAH KAV TANAH BARU DEPOK

This service aims to analyze the problems of the mosque's financial system, design a mosque's financial accounting design that is in line with the socio-cultural conditions of the local community while still in accordance with applicable accounting standards, as well as implementing and assisting with the application of the mosque's accounting system. The approach used is Community Development Practice which was adapted from Vincent II, J.W. Jack is one of the approaches taken with community development which is directed at increasing access in order to achieve better conditions. The results of the mentoring resulted in two things, namely the mosque entity being able to identify mosque assets which so far have not been inventoried. The second mosque entity can produce financial statements of non-profit entities including statements of financial position, activity reports, and cash flow reports that can be accessed by stakeholders.

Penerapan Standar Akuntansi Entitas Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (Sak Emkm) dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Laporan Keuangan:

The problem discussed in this study is the importance of recording financial reports in MSMEs according to applicable accounting standards, namely SAK EMKM, but in reality not all MSMEs are able to implement it. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of SAK EMKM in improving the quality of financial statements at Toko Podho Bughahe Tulungagung. The type of research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique that the author uses is through interviews with the owner, treasurer and financial staff at Toko Podho Bughahe Tulungagung. The results showed that the application of financial statements that apply SAK EMKM has a better level of quality than ordinary financial statements. As applied by Toko Podho Bughahe Tulungagung, it has been able to implement quality financial reports through the existence of financial accounting standards, namely SAK EMKM.

Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to Enhance Financial Reporting in Oman

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are rapidly adopted globally to enhance financial reporting quality. All firms in Oman are required to follow IFRS. In addition, the Accounting Standards Board adopted IFRS in their entirety. The project objective is to test the relationship between the adoption of IFRS and financial reporting in Oman. This research used a quantitative method. The population of this study were 112 companies at Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) for the year ended 2020 in Oman. The sample size of this project was 92 from three sectors of listed companies (Financial Sector 30, Industrial Sector 32, and Service Sector 30). The project results show a significant positive relationship between the adoption of IFRS and financial reporting in Oman. Firms that were Adopt-IFRS-Effective had high financial reporting quality, while firms that were Adopt-IFRS-Not-Effective did not affect their quality. This is because financial reporting is not solely dependent on these standards but has an impact. The implications of this research result in better-informed judgments for investors as the information included in the annual reports improves comparisons that facilitate the further flow of investments. Furthermore, provides significant insight into the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). Also, this study has been added to the literature by examining the Adoption of IFRS on financial reporting in Oman context. Besides, this might add benefits to many firms relating to their current accounting standards practice that might lead to adopting IFRS to ensure the application of applicable accounting standards to show fair financial statements to its stakeholders. This current research is one of the first works in the context of Sultanate of Oman. It has added a new discussion to the body of knowledge considering the IFRS and their link with financial reporting quality. Furthermore, conducting such research in the accounting field provides new insight into the IFRS literature among both developed and emerging economies including Oman.

Akuntansi Pesantren Di Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur'an Wal Hadits Toili

The purpose of the research is to find out that the preparation of financial reports for the Darul Qur'an Wal Hadith Islamic Boarding School is in accordance with applicable standards. In this study the type of data used is qualitative data. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is to use the Islamic boarding school accounting method. The results of this study indicate that the recording of financial reports at the Darul Qur'an Wal Hadith Islamic Boarding School is recorded modestly, the reason for recording is done soberly is because the management of the Islamic Boarding School does not understand how to prepare financial reports in accordance with correct accounting standards and also limited knowledge so that the preparation of financial reports accordance with the applicable accounting standards have not yet been implemented.

Pembinaan Sistem Akuntansi Serta Pelaporan Keuangan di SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa

Effective accounting and financial reporting systems are crucial for ensuring transparency, accuracy, and the sustainability of finances in vocational schools like SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa. This research aims to examine the efforts in fostering and enhancing the accounting and financial reporting systems at SMK. The study involves data collection from various sources, including interviews with administrative staff, document analysis, and monitoring of accounting procedures. The research findings indicate that SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa has undertaken significant efforts to improve their financial governance. These efforts include training for administrative staff, the utilization of state-of-the-art accounting software, and enhancing understanding of applicable accounting standards. Furthermore, the school has also revamped their financial reporting processes, encompassing the regular preparation of financial statements and strict budget monitoring. The improvement in the accounting and financial reporting system has aided SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa in more effectively managing their finances, enhancing the accuracy of financial information, and increasing transparency and accountability. This study provides valuable insights into the importance of fostering and developing accounting systems in educational institutions, with the hope of setting an example for similar institutions aiming to improve their financial management.

Analisis Perlakuan Akuntansi Atas Biaya Pengolahan Limbah Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) Ajamu Panai Hulu Berdasarkan Perspektif Syariah

The study aims to determine and analyze the accounting treatment for the cost of processing waste from the Ajamu Palm Oil Mill (PKS), Panai Hulu. The accounting treatment includes identification, recognition, measurement, disclosure and presentation. This research is a qualitative research based on a descriptive approach using two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through the process of interviews, observation and documentation related to the research objectives, While secondary data is data obtained by researchers from other parties’ records in the form of company history and data related to research. The results of the research show that PT. Nusantara IV Ajamu Plantation has implemented an accounting treatment with processing costs. The results of the analysis stated that PT. Nusantara IV Ajamu Plantation has identified all costs related to the processing of palm oil mill effluent and recognized processing costs included in the general and administrative costs component as consideration that these environmental costs are related to company administration and general operations. In the process of measuring the cost of treating waste, it is stated at the cost incurred (Historical Cost). Disclosure regarding environmental issues in the waste treatment process is stated in the financial statements and is in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. Several similar costs are also presented in the company's income statement.

Analisis Penerapan SAK ETAP dalam Laporan Keuangan Pada Koperasi Unit Desa Kaum Kolot

The presentation of financial statements by accounting standards serves as a benchmark for external parties in evaluating the financial condition of an entity. However, it is currently a fact that the applicable accounting standards are not fully implemented in the process of preparing financial statements. Several cooperatives have been dissolved due to their inability to manage human resources, finances, or operations. This research analyzes the implementation of the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards for Small and Medium Entities (SAK ETAP) in the preparation of financial statements at the Kaum Kolot Village Cooperative Unit in Jampangkulon District, as well as the competency of the human resources involved in presenting these financial statements. The method used in this research is qualitative, with primary data sources collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of SAK ETAP in the Kaum Kolot Village Cooperative Unit has been underway, but it is still not fully effective as it only applies to and presents financial statements for the remaining business results, profit and loss, and balance sheet. The competency of the human resources within the Kaum Kolot Village Cooperative Unit is not in line with the required criteria. However, the financial statements produced can provide relevant information that is understandable to the users of the statements.

Public Accountant's Responsibility for Violations of Financial Statements of PT Asuransi Jiwa Adisarana Wanaartaha

This study aims to analyze the responsibility of public accountants in presenting financial reports for the 2014-2019 financial year of PT Asuransi Jiwa Adisarana Waanaartha. The research method used is normative legal research, which focuses on the analysis of legal documents, regulations and guidelines relating to the responsibilities of public accountants. This study examines the responsibilities of public accountants related to the presentation of financial statements of life insurance companies. In the context of PT Asuransi Jiwa Adisarana Wanaartha, public accountants have a responsibility to ensure that the financial statements presented comply with applicable accounting standards and accurately represent the company's financial position. The results of the study show that public accountants have an obligation to carry out professional and independent audit work. They must follow applicable accounting guidelines and standards, such as Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and Public Accountant Professional Standards (SPAP). This research also highlights the importance of transparency and accountability in the presentation of financial reports. This assists stakeholders, including investors, governments, and the general public, in making informed, data-based decisions. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of the responsibility of public accountants in presenting the financial statements for the 2014-2019 financial year of PT Asuransi Jiwa Adisarana Wanaartaha accurately, transparently, and in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This research contributes to understanding legal and normative aspects related to the duties and responsibilities of public accountants in the context of the life insurance industry.

Analysis of Factors Influencing the Preparation of Financial Statements on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Pangkalpinang City

Some UMKM actors routinely prepare correct financial reports based on applicable accounting standards, for various reasons including the long-standing business activities, company assets, marketing areas, customers, fairly high asset turnover, and already have human resources or employees who know how to prepare financial reports in accordance with SAK. The type of research that the author uses is a type of qualitative research - empirical. The results of the study show that the factors that influence the preparation of financial reports for UMKM businesses in the city of Pangkalpinang include the provision of information and socialization, educational background, educational level and length of business is one of the factors that influence the process of preparing financial reports.

Pengaruh Impelementasi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Manufaktur Dalam Zahir Accounting Versi 6

With increasingly fierce competition and business development as well as management's need for accurate accounting information as a basis for decision making, the manual system is no longer effective. However, it cannot be denied that there are still many entrepreneurs who still use manual recording systems due to lack of knowledge about computerized systems. So, the authors observe the accounting data processing process on CV. Muda Teknindo who still uses manual recording where the previous author made observations on the existing system at the lathe workshop and then then applied it to a computerized accounting information system using Zahir Accounting Version 6. The purpose of this study was to implement an Accounting Information System using the Zahir Accounting Version 6 application in beauty salons that still use Microsoft excel in order to achieve accounting reports according to to applicable accounting standards. This research was compiled for approximately one month based on transaction data that occurred in March 2022.

Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Pamdes Di Desa Pandanrejo Oleh Mahasiswa KKN UM

Pandanrejo is one of the villages in Wagir District, Malang Regency. The village has abundant natural resources in the form of water. Water in Pandanrejo Village is managed by PAMDes under the auspices of BUMDes Pandanrejo. The problem faced by PAMDes Pandanrejo is the preparation of its financial statements which are not in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This makes it difficult for residents to understand, resulting in distrust of PAMDes Pandanrejo's financial management. This problem encourages the author to carry out community service in the form of training and assistance in preparing financial reports. The method used in developing this program includes six stages, namely problem analysis, making financial report formats, education and socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The result of this service is that the author succeeded in making a format for recording transactions and preparing financial reports in the form of Ms. Excel files which are expected to overcome the problems that exist in PAMDes Pandanrejo.

LITERASI AKUNTANSI BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA PADA BUMDES SILATRI INDAH WONOSOBO

AbstractBUMDES Silatri is one of the villages where BUMDes was established. BUMDes Silatri Indah as a partner does not prepare financial reports properly and is not in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Accounts are kept whenever a transaction occurs, regardless of accounting principle, and are limited to recording cash received and paid. This is because BUMDes treasurers do not have accounting education, and BUMDes managers have never received training on financial reporting, thus adding to the complexity of the problems faced by partners. The purpose of this event is to provide knowledge and understanding to prepare financial reports, therefore, through organizing seminars and training. The method of implementing PKM activities is educative. The educational approach discussed is providing knowledge and understanding of BUMDes Silatri Indah management which is reflected in seminars and organizing accounting training activities related to the preparation of BUMDes Silatri Indah financial reports. The results of community service activities are accounting understanding managers. Restaurant Accounting System Studies in Indonesia 2021-2022: A Systematic Literature Review

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the design of an accounting system in a restaurant or franchise business can provide benefits in realizing the creation of accounting reporting that has a positive impact on management. In this study, the application of accounting system design using accounting information system applications was taken from the results of research conducted by previous researchers on restaurants and franchise businesses. The study was conducted based on the literature review of the ten previous studies by making a summary of the results and conclusions. Some of the criteria used in selecting articles to be material in this study are as follows: the method used, trends and topics in related research, factors that influence financial reporting and the next best method used in writing financial reports.The design of an accounting information system using a PHP program and a MySQL database can help companies make financial accounting reports which include the calculation of profit and loss from restaurant companies. PHP applications and MySQL databases used by restaurant companies must comply with applicable accounting standards. Technical competence of employees needs to be given support from the top management of the company to receive special training in the use of financial accounting programs, so that the performance of accounting information systems can be measured for success. The involvement of users of the financial accounting information system program in the company has a positive impact on the performance of the financial accounting system.

UNDERSTANDING ACCOUNTING IN SUPPORTING REPORTS QUALITY FINANCE AT PT. PASANGGRAHAN CITRA PERSADA

Financial statements are a form of accountability for the management of economic resources owned by an entity. Published financial reports must be prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards so that these financial statements can be compared with the financial statements of the previous period or compared with the financial statements of a clear entity. Quality of financial reports - (financial statement) is the final result of the process of accounting activities or a summary of financial transactions. Financial statements are prepared to provide information about the position of assets, debts and capital that occur in the company's household as well as its profits and losses. The characteristics of financial reports in terms of quality are based on the Accounting Standards Guide (PSAK), namely: Understandability, Relevance, Materiality, Reliability, Honest presentation, Substance over form, Neutrality, Fair consideration and Completeness. Based on the problems mentioned above, we conducted community service at PT Pasanggrahan Citra Persada, which is an l‹loantral‹tor company engaged in structural work, architects and interiors, with an expert and skilled workforce. PT Pasanggrahan Citra Persada emphasizes sustainable company growth to become one of the best quality construction companies in Indonesia with competency development through human resource development, technology management and good corporate governance.
