Managing a construction project is seen as a complicated task that requires significant knowledge, skills, and application of many tools and techniques to build up a plan and take action in order to achieve the project’s aim. Among the number of tools used for managing projects, the analytic hierarchy process (ANP) is one of the popular methods used for making better decisions by capturing all kinds of dependence and feedback among elements of the model. Based on ANP theory, this paper has established several models that may help involving parties able to manage projects efficiently, including (i) application of ANP for subcontractor selection; (ii) network model of ANP for risk assessment; (iii) ANP applied to project selection.
