This study investigates the level of awareness and understanding of Gold Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) among citizens of Amravati City. As a modern investment option, Gold ETFs offer a convenient and secure method for individuals to invest in gold without the physical burden of ownership. Despite their growing popularity, awareness of Gold ETFs remains limited, particularly in smaller urban areas. Using a quantitative approach, this research collects primary data through surveys to evaluate knowledge, perceptions, and investment intentions regarding Gold ETFs among local residents. The findings aim to inform stakeholders about existing gaps in awareness and suggest strategies for enhancing financial literacy and investment participation.

Analysis of Consumer Buying Behavior for Beauty Brands in Amravati City

This research report sought to understand the process by which consumers select cosmetic products. In order to gather information for this study, which was carried out in Amravati City, 100 respondents were surveyed. The personal care industry has enormous unrealized potential and is vital to the country's economy. One of the biggest consumer industries in the nation is the personal care industry. Large companies have established themselves in this market over the past few years as a result of the Indian consumer's rising purchasing power and disposable income, which has driven the industry's phenomenal growth. During the data analysis phase, it was discovered that the majority of respondents were female and that the majority of them had purchased beauty items to apply on their faces. It was discovered that the majority of respondents had chosen different brands of cosmetics and it was discovered that the price aspect was what drove consumers to purchase their cosmetic items. It was observed that the Permanent Store was where the responders were buying their cosmetics. To increase sales, the business should concentrate on serving housewives and professionals and draw in more customers, the company should expand its line of male beauty products, boost the amount of herbal ingredients, and run aggressive advertisements including celebrity endorsements. A corporation should evaluate its historical financial performance and develop marketing and business plans to strengthen its brand and expand its market segments in accordance with consumer demands. Thus, this study contributes to our understanding of the constantly shifting preferences and buying habits of the female market for beauty products. We can therefore conclude that in order to encourage female clients to purchase beauty products, retailers need specifically target them.

The study will also examine the ethical implications of affiliate marketing practices and suggest strategies to promote responsible earning behavior among youth in Amravati City. This study provides valuable insights that there is a significant lack of awareness of Affiliate Marketing among the youth in Amravati city.

Formulation and Sensory Evaluation of Complementary Foods from Millet and Oyster Mushroom

Timely introduction of complementary foods is essential for nutrition as well as growth and development of child at the age of six month of life. locally available millets were used for formulation of complementary foods as control sample and value addition was done with dry mushroom powder. The sensory evaluation trials were conducted for consecutive three days for panel of ten judges and 76 mothers of the child between six to 12 months at the aganwadi center of the slums of Amravati city. The sensory quality of control and experimental complementary food were acceptable by judges as well as mothers. The value addition of oyster mushroom powder was found effective to improve protein content of the experimental complementary foods.

Impact of Garlic (Allium sativum) on Glycogen Level of Fresh Water Fish Channa Striatus (Bloch, 1793)

The present work was conducted to study the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) on glycogen content of fresh water fish Channa striatus. Live specimens of Channa striatus were collected from local market of Amravati city. The controlled fishes were fed with normal diet and experimental fishes were fed with garlic pellets. Fishes were randomly selected from each control and experimental tanks, anesthetized, sacrificed after day 7, 14 and 21days and muscle tissue were taken for glycogen estimation. The glycogen levels in the muscle of the controlled and experimental fishes were estimated by Nelson-somogy’s method. The glycogen level of controlled and experimental was compared. The present investigation indicated that the glycogen contents in muscle of experimental fish decreased 29.07±0.833, 26.18±0.904, 23.78±1.784 as compared to control 30.45± 1.18, 28.73±0.591 and 30.33±0.498. Thus, Allium sativum fed to Channa striatus showed significant decreased in the glycogen level of muscle tissue.

Diagnostic Analysis and Modelling of Air Quality for Medium Sized City

It is witnessed that air pollution is an important issue regarding not only for human health but also for plants, animals and building materials. Increase in industrialisation, abundant use of automobiles, and network of highways, the quality of air of Amravati city is degrading day by day. The data has been collected for a period ranging from March 2020 to February 2021 for analysis and pollution forecasting model work. The concentration of Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM), Respiratory Suspended Particulate Matter (RSPM), Sulphur dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and Ozone (O3) have been monitored over successive periods of time and also data is collected from monitoring stations controlled by MPCB. Numerous studies have been proposed for predicting pollution concentrations and improvement of performance of predictable models is an important issue. As is well known, collaborative observations proved that it can improve predictive performance. In this study, multivariate linear regression approach-based model was constructed to predict the RSPM in the air using the meteorological (air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, rainfall) and air quality monitoring data (SPM, NO2, SO2, O3). Correlation between measured and model predicted vales of RSPM were 0.717,0.691,0.64 and 0.60 for winter, summer, monsoon and annual seasons respectively. However, the regression model based on seasonal data for winter was found to be more effective.

Municipal Solid Waste Treatment for the Amravati City by Vermicomposting

The extent of this study includes management of solid waste adopted in the Amravati city by vermicomposting. As generation of organic waste has become an environmental problem of public concern citywide. Management of the solid waste is totally depends upon the population , their religious rituals, living standards, degree of commercialization, industrialization and various processes done in the city generates the solid waste. In Amravati city, at sukali depot there is generation of this waste is going increased day by day and hence to dispose all the municipal waste becomes the top priority of city. The organic waste from all the vegetable markets are get collected at the depot. Hence it needs some practices for the disposal of waste. As there are many methods are available for the waste management. Out of which for MSW, Vermicomposting can be used for the recycling of waste. It is a mesophilic process utilizing micro-organisms In this method Eisenia Fetida earthworms are used for 45 days to recycle the waste. After 45 days organic matter, total oxygen demand, Ph, TP, TC, TOC, TKN, C-N tests carried out and their initial and final readings were analysed. Recovery of vermicompost and increase in earthworms were analysed. Vermicmposting can be done very easily and able to dispose the municipal waste properly. After decomposing there is a conversion of waste into manure which can be used for agriculture purpose. And also there are again a production of earthworms which we can used for further vermicomposting of organic waste. This study identifies the potential of vermicomposting for waste management.

Qualitative Analysis of Groundwater from Nandgaon Peth Village District Amravati, Maharashtra

The water quality of Nandgaon peth village of Amravati city, Maharashtra was studied for physical chemical andbiological parameter like temperature, pH, conductivity acidity, Hardness, total dissolved solid chloride was foundthat water sample collected from Nandgaon peth village dug well sample. Most of the parameters, notobserved within the permissible limits as describe by various agencies. The quality of water was useful fordrinking and agricultural purposes. Water quality determines the goodness of water for particularly purpose. Waterquality test give will information about the health of the waterway. The change of quality of water can be seen bytesting water over the period of time. Parameter may be tested include temperature, Alkalinity, Acidity, CO2, PH,Hardness, calcium ,and calcite chloride. An assessment of the aquatic micro invertebrates can be provided andindicates water quality of groundwater.

Epidemiological Study of Rapidly Emerging Uropathogens Isolated from Urinary Catheter and Its Influential Demographic Factors Responsible for Contamination

Urinary tract infections (UTI) are very common in all the developed as well as developing countries in which the majority of infections are catheter associated. Catheter associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) is one of the major causes of hospital acquired infections. The aim of this study is to investigate influential demographic factors responsible for contamination associated with the rate of CAUTI, while taking into account type of urinary catheter used, the most common organisms found, patient diagnosis, age, gender, and comparison with other studies. During the study, 22 uropathogenic species were isolated from the different segments of urinary catheter samples of the patients collected from 12 different hospitals of Amravati city, Maharashtra, India from January 2015 to 2018. Gram negative organisms were the most frequent isolates, with Pseudomonas aeruginosa (16.08%) being the most common followed by Escherichia coli (10%) and Candida albicans accounted for almost 11% of all the uropathogens. It was found that the majority of uropathogens were isolated from the section A (Catheter segment inside the bladder) and section E (Catheter segment connected to drainage tube) of the urinary catheter. The duration of the catheterization plays the major role in the contamination and further infection to continue. It was observed that the female catheterized patients are more prone to the contamination and infection as compared to male catheterized patient. The antibiotic sensitivity pattern indicates that MAR (Multiple Antibiotic Resistance) index was more than 0.2 for almost all the uropathogens tested concluding that there is antibiotic stress on uropathogens and rate of resistance increased rapidly. Also it was found that there was a statistically significant association between the duration of catheterization, type of disease, age of patient and type of catheter with respect to gender.

The effect of urbanization on the functional and scale-sensitive diversity of bird assemblages in Central India

Abstract:Diversity changes can be evaluated at various spatial scales, and the relationship between changes in diversity at the local, landscape and regional scales is not evident. The overall patterns of functional and beta diversity of bird assemblages were evaluated along a five-stage urbanization gradient, censused over the months of January to April in the years 2010–2013, in and around Amravati city, Deccan Plateau, Central India. We expected the abundance of large and predatory species to decline along the gradient, and urbanization to homogenize species richness at the landscape level. Overall, 112,829 birds belonging to 89 species were identified in the region, and species richness decreased from the rural forest (73 species) to more urbanized areas (lowest at the centre of Amravaty city with 29 species). Along the urbanization gradient, bird assemblages contained more small species, and the share of frugivorous and omnivorous species also increased, while that of insectivorous species decreased. Diversity partitioning indicated that of the overall pattern, local (alpha) diversity accounted for 50.1% of the total (gamma) diversity, and urbanization stages another 36.2%; the contribution of within-stage, local diversity was rather small (2.7%), indicating fairly homogeneous assemblages.

Nestedness of bird assemblages along an urbanisation gradient in Central India

We censused terrestrial bird assemblages along a five-stage urbanisation gradient (rural forest, industrial zone, peri-urban, suburban and urban habitats) in and around Amravati City, Central India, between January and April 2010–2013. A total of 89 species of birds were recorded, with the highest detected species richness in the rural areas (67 species) and the lowest in the urban one (29 species). The rural habitats had the highest diversity, followed, in a decreasing order, by industrial, peri-urban, suburban and urban areas, supporting Gray's increasing disturbance rather than Connell's intermediate disturbance hypothesis. The densities were, however, highest in the urban habitats, supporting the resource concentration hypothesis. The assemblages were significantly nested, indicating a common origin from the rural forest.

Characterisation of municipal solid waste of household and Sukali dumping depot of Amravati city

Increasing population and urbanization created various problems among which solid waste management is the one. It arouses the problem of public health and environmental deterioration. Lifestyle of unconcern people is the root cause of this problem. Proper characterization of municipal solid waste is the first fundamental step for the planning of municipal waste management services. Based on composition/characterization of waste, appropriate waste processing technologies can be selected and implemented. Characterisation of the solid waste at the duping site shows the presence of high percentage of organic matter (24%) and inert material (25 %) in the waste. Characterisation of the solid waste of the household samples shows high percentage of organic waste (55%) and low inert material (8.37%). Thus, it indicates that the proper on site (household level) segregation of different components of the waste viz ., organic waste, plastic waste, metals, glass, paper, can reclaim the resources and better use it. It can be concluded that the way we manage will decide how well prepared we are for the better future.

A STUDY OF MORNINGNESS AND EVENINGNESS AMONG SPORTS PERSONS

This paper represents the study of Morningness Eveningness among Sports Persons. Total One Thousand (1000) subjects were selected for this study. One hundred (100) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A), one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W), one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Arts (B.A), one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A) and one hundred fifty (150) subjects were taken from Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) selected for the present study. The data pertaining to the study was collected by standard questionnaire. In this study, data were analyzed and interpreted with the help of special statistical techniques. The finding of this study shows that most of the sports persons of different Streams of Senior Colleges of Amravati City fall under Intermediate type. Article visualizations:

Detection of Biofilm Forming Bacterial Communities from Urinary Catheter of Patients with Change in Its Antibiotic Susceptibility Pattern and Triclosan Effect from Different Hospitals of Amravati City Maharashtra, India

Purpose: Bacterial biofilm develop on the surfaces of urinary catheter and proceed to cause full blown bacterial infections and sepsis. Urinary catheters, infection rates increase with the duration of catheterization at rates of per day with virtually all of those who undergo long-term catheterization becoming infected. Also antibiotics results in the adaptation and development of resistance leading to treatment failure, prolonged hospitalization, increased costs of care, and increased mortality. Methods: In the present study total 200 used urinary catheters were studied from the different hospitals of Amravati city in 2015-2016. Different bacterial uropathogens were isolated by conventional method and biofilm formation was studied by tissue culture plate (TCP). Antibiotic sensitivity was performed by disc diffusion method. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and Minimum biofilm eradicating concentration (MBEC) of triclosan was determined by TCP. Results: Out of total samples 93% are contaminated. Around 59% urinary catheters contain mixed consortia. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found to be the strong biofilm forming and multidrug resistant organism. The most effective drug over seven bacteria isolates were chloramphenicol. Triclosan was used to test against the strong and moderate biofilm forming isolates the MIC of triclosan ranged between 1.5 and 1000 μg/ml and MBEC was between 800 and 3200 μg/ml Conclusions: From the study it was concluded that female are more prone to be infected with catheter associated infection. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found to be deadly caused of infection, as it is highly resistant to antibiotics. Also triclosan showed effective result on the bacterial uropathogens.

The concentration of heavy metals such as Pd, Cd, Cu and Zn were studied using AAS on vegetable samples as Spinach (leaf ) and Tomato . Trace element as Pd and Cd showed high concentration . The concentration of heavy metal like Pd for Spinach is found to be 5.5 mg/kg-1 and for tomato is 5.5 mg\kg-1more than the maximum permissible limit according to the International organization like FAO and WHO indicating that the Vegetables grown near Amba nalla region in Amravati city have 5.5mg/kg-1 high heavy metal value for Pd .The concentration of Cd for the vegetable sample as Spinach was 0.3 mg/kg-1 and Tomato were found to be 0.2mg/kg-1 more than the permissible limit. The concentration of the remaining heavy metals as Cu for Spinach is 0.03 mg/kg-1, tomato is 0.045 mg/kg-1 respectively and Zn for Spinach is 2.0 mg/kg-1and for tomato is 3.8 mg/kg- 1respectively were within the permissible limit as compared with the FAO( mg/kg-1 1985 and WHO) .Pd and Cd are the most severe contaminants.The high level of Cadmium (Cd) in vegetables especially Spinach and Tomato, are suspected for human carcinogens and many more health risks . Samples selected for the study are highly contaminated with Pd and Cd and posses a major health concern from the research.
