Peranan Kajian Remaja Masjid Al-Huda dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Beragama Remaja di Desa Hutana Godang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

This research aims to find out what are the programs of mosque youth, how the participation of mosque youth and the role of mosque youth studies in increasing the religious awareness of adolescents in Hutana Godang Village, West Pasaman Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, while the type of research used is qualitative research. The research time was carried out on September 23 to October 23, 2024 in Hutana Godang Village, West Pasaman Regency. The data sources in this study are the chairman of the youth mosque and the youth mosque Al-Huda Hutana Godang. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validation in this study uses source triangulation, in which researchers compare data or information obtained in the field and then re-correct data or information that has been collected from various sources related to the role of the study of al-huda mosque teenagers in increasing teenagers' religious awareness. The results showed that the role of the al-huda mosque youth study in increasing the religious awareness of adolescents in Hutana Godang Village, West Pasaman Regency was quite good in its implementation as seen from several al-huda mosque youth programs, namely routine recitation, studies that are held regularly provide opportunities for adolescents to explore Islamic teachings, both in terms of creed, Second, social religious activities such as helping the community in religious events, working together to clean the mosque, and social services, Third, celebrating Islamic holidays such as maulid nabi and isra' mi'raj, the involvement of mosque youth in this commemoration has a positive impact on developing their organizational skills and responsibilities. The participation of mosque teenagers in increasing the religious awareness of teenagers shows that although many are active in social activities, there are still a number of teenagers who do not participate in religious studies. The role of mosque youth studies in increasing adolescents' religious awareness is as a means to form good character by learning about the importance of worship, good morals, and concern for others, adolescents can understand their responsibilities as religious individuals.

Attitudes and awareness in autonomous decision on medical treatment or inclusion in clinical trials amongst Slovenian adolescents: an online survey

BackgroundIn Europe and elsewhere in the world, activities are taking place to improve the awareness of children and adolescents (hereinafter: adolescents) regarding their rights and obligations in autonomous decision-making about their own medical treatment and participation in clinical research.MethodsThe cross-sectional survey of adolescents was carried out using an anonymous online questionnaire. We obtained consent from the Commission of the Republic of Slovenia for Medical Ethics. Participating young people were invited through the network of primary and secondary schools, the Society of Dystrophy of Slovenia and through the dissemination of electronic messages. The online questionnaire was open from April 25 to May 6, 2023. Young people aged 13 to 20 joined the survey. The association between several factors and awareness of the minimum age limit was tested by univariate logistic regression. All statistical testing was performed at a significance level of 0.05.ResultsThe responses of 458 respondents were analysed, of which 281 were male. Only 8.3% of participating adolescents knew the age limit set by law for autonomous decision-making about medical treatment at 15 years old. Most answered that a medical institution should inform them about their rights (62.4%). Only 5.02% responded that they do not need their parents’ consent when making decisions; 2.6% of respondents answered that they autonomously decided to undergo treatment without their parents’ knowledge. The majority obtained information about treatment from a doctor (more than 70%); 42.8% were in favour of new forms of treatment, especially chronic patients (more than 70%); 44.8% had already heard about clinical research, most of them through the media (55.4%); 70% of the respondents answered correctly about making an autonomous decision about participation in research at the age of 18. About three-quarters (75.6%) of respondents who had heard of clinical research believe that an individual should be paid for participating.ConclusionsOur research showed insufficient awareness of the age limit of adolescents regarding medical treatment decisions and clinical research. The prevailing view is that health professionals should inform young people more about their rights. Most adolescents believe they should be paid to participate in clinical research.

Relationship between microbiota awareness, nutrition literacy, and health literacy among adolescents.

Microbiota awareness, nutritional literacy, and health literacy levels in adolescents have a significant impact on their health and well-being. This research was conducted to examine the relationship between microbiota awareness, nutrition literacy, and health literacy in adolescents. This research was structured with a descriptive-correlational design. The study population comprised adolescents aged 10-19 years, living in Türkiye (n = 739), between June 2022 and February 2024. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0, G*Power 3.1, and R programming language 4.1.3. The total effect of the health literacy variable on nutritional literacy was 0.2311, and this was statistically significant at a 95% confidence interval (CI) (p < 0.05). In terms of the health literacy variable, the direct effect of the nutrition literacy variable on the microbiota awareness variable was 0.2888, and this was statistically significant at the 95% CI (p < 0.05). In terms of the nutritional literacy variable, the direct effect of the health literacy variable on the microbiota awareness variable was 0.1707, and this was statistically significant at the 95% CI (p < 0.05). Nutrition literacy had a partial mediating role in the effect of health literacy on microbiota awareness (lower limit CI: 0.045; upper limit CI: 0.0894). The most accurate prediction of machine learning approaches to predict microbiota awareness was made with random forest with shapley additive explanations values, and the most important variable that should be in the model to predict the microbiota awareness variable was the nutrition literacy variable. Microbiota awareness increased as health literacy and nutrition literacy increased. In the machine learning approach prediction, the most important variables affecting microbiota awareness were health literacy and nutritional literacy. Longitudinal studies on microbiota awareness are recommended.

Design Insights for Developing Deepfakes Awareness Games for Adolescents

Around a decade ago, significant advancements in the deep learning domain like Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) started to facilitate the creation of new synthetical content. The development of deepfake algorithms gained momentum due to the increase in computing power and open-source available resources which facilitated broader access to advanced deep learning methods. While initially deepfakes were created by creative pursuits in various media and marketing campaigns, they started to be misused driven by malicious purposes in various social media manipulation campaigns. These campaigns imply spreading disinformation and misinformation for discrediting individuals and creating confusion in relation to specific topics and events and are meant to altering users’ beliefs and behaviours. Such facts raised important ethical and societal concerns. Although deepfakes still represent a recent research area, a large body of studies is dedicated to, on the one hand, generation, and detection of deepfakes, and on the other hand, to understanding their implications and consequences for society. At the same time, governmental and practitioner efforts are devoted to containing their use and impact on society by proposing various strategies and programs. Nevertheless, both academic and societal efforts are in an incipient stage and often adopt a generalist perspective. This represents a crucial point in relation to the fact that many users in various social media platforms like TikTok is represented by adolescents that are known to be unaware and more vulnerable to media content in general, and deepfakes content, in particular. This represents the knowledge gap that this research aims to tackle by synthesizing design insights as requirements and guidelines that can be used when developing and deploying deepfakes awareness games for producing and/or enhancing awareness of adolescents. Accordingly, a systematic literature review is conducted and merged with previous experience in this domain by adopting a transdisciplinary research approach that merges methods and techniques from the deepfakes, AI, social media, cyber security, and gamification domains.

The Effect of Multi-Strategy Nutrition Education Programs on Hedonic Hunger and Nutrition Status in Adolescents.

Objective: Increasing the awareness of adolescents about hedonic hunger, understanding the difference between homeostatic hunger and hedonic hunger, and adolescents learning to control themselves to stop excessive food consumption are extremely important for a healthy adulthood. The study aimed to evaluate the effects of the multi-strategy nutrition education programs (MSNEP) on hedonic hunger, food addiction, nutrition literacy, and nutritional status in adolescents. Methods: This study was planned using a pre-test and post-test design. The MSNEP was conducted with 132 adolescents (11-15 years; 69 boys, 63 girls) for 4 weeks (45 min-1 h/session). Data were obtained using questionnaires with face-to-face interviews at pre-education (baseline) and post-education (week 4 and week 8). The survey form included sociodemographic information, nine item short version of Children's Power of Food Scale (C-PFS-9), the Yale Food Addiction Scale for Children 2.0 (YFAS-C 2.0), the Adolescent Nutrition Literacy Scale (ANLS), anthropometric measurements, and 24-hour dietary recall. Results: A decrease in C-PFS-9 total scores was found compared to the baseline (p < 0.001). While the YFAS-C 2.0 score decreased in boys compared to the baseline (p < 0.05), no significant difference was found in girls (p > 0.05). A difference was found in the ANLS scores for girls (p = 0.01), but no difference was found in the scores for boys during the study (p > 0.05). At week 4, the consumption of dairy products, legumes, vegetables and fruits, bread and grains, nuts, and hard-shelled seeds increased compared to the baseline (p < 0.05). Also, daily protein and fiber intake increased (p < 0.05). Accordingly, a higher YFAS-C 2.0 score predicted greater hedonic hunger. A lower ANLS score was a predictor for higher food taste and food available scores. Conclusions: In conclusion, the MSNEP was found to have positive effects on hedonic hunger, food addiction, nutritional literacy, and healthy eating behaviors. The study revealed differences between girls and boys. In order to maintain healthy body weights in adolescents, it is recommended that the MSNEP be provided in schools.

Increasing adolescents' awareness of the impact of promiscuity through educational socialization

The influence of promiscuity among adolescents is increasingly a serious concern because of the negative impacts it causes, such as drug abuse, pregnancy out of wedlock, and declining academic achievement. This community service program aims to increase adolescents' awareness of the impact of promiscuity through educational socialization. The methods used include interactive counseling, group discussions, and case simulations. This activity in secondary schools involves students, teachers, and parents. The results of this activity are expected to increase adolescents' knowledge about the dangers of promiscuity, as well as encourage them to develop critical thinking skills in dealing with the negative influences of the social environment. In addition, this program aims to strengthen social support from families and schools in guiding adolescents to live healthy and productive associations. Through this approach, it is hoped that awareness and wiser behavior of adolescents can be formed in daily interactions.

ADOLESCENTS KNOWLEDGE ON THE USE OF COSMETIC AND DERMATOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS IN THE TREATMENT OF ACNE VULGARIS

Acne vulgaris is a common, chronic, inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous unit that affects most teenagers with inflammatory lesions on the face and trunk. They are mainly caused by increased sebum production, hyperkeratinization of the follicle, inflammation, hormonal changes, misuse of cosmetic and dermatological preparations. This condition is more common in adolescents, but it also occurs in patients in their twenties and thirties too. These changes in the skin affect emotional stress and quality of life. Dermocosmetics play a special role in the care and treatment of acne-prone skin. A series of complementary dermocosmetics are available, which include products with cleansing, active, soothing and moisturizing properties. Dermocosmetics formulated with active substances can be used in acne monotherapy based on the effectiveness of specific active ingredients in alleviating acne symptoms without any adverse effects reported so far. Effective skincare serves not only as a preventative measure by addressing the underlying causes of acne, but also helps mitigate the negative effects of pharmacological therapy and helps manage complications such as scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This study aims the evaluation of the awareness of adolescents in relation to the treatment of acne and their knowledge about the use of cosmetic and dermatological preparations. Based on our results 40% of teenagers didn’t consult a dermatologist but used preparations that they see on social media and that their effectiveness was lower than 30%. 38% of the teenagers have used the therapy and the food regime that the dermatologist recommended which lead to a 75% effectiveness on treatment, 12% have used lotions recommended by their pharmacists and didn’t follow the food regime from which they had an effectiveness of only 42%. We also noticed that the patients who followed the instructions of the dermatologist and the pharmacist had more efficiency, while the others had less efficiency. From this we can conclude that any change in the skin for better efficiency should be managed by a dermatologist.

Knowledge and attitude of adolescents towards sexual health and reproductive health technologies.

Reproductive health and reproductive health technologies are one of the challenging health studies in the developing world. The study focuses on the knowledge and attitude of adolescent students towards reproductive health technologies. It is the need and responsibility of all individuals especially adolescents (the future procreators) to know about Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and the sexual health related to it. The objectives are to evaluate the level of knowledge among late adolescents (18-21 years) regarding sexual and reproductive health. To understand the attitudes of late adolescents towards sexual health and reproductive health technologies. To identify gaps in knowledge and misconceptions about sexual and reproductive health among late adolescents. To determine the awareness and perceptions of late adolescents regarding various reproductive health technologies. The study was a mixed method, 46 respondents of age groups between 18-21 years (late adolescents) were selected, using simple random sampling. A self-administered questionnaire was circulated through Google Forms. Data was collected and analysed using SPSS Statistics Data Editor version 22. The level of knowledge the late adolescents have towards sexual health and reproductive technologies is very low and the study should explore all, to know the merits and demerits of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and the alternative methods for childbirth. The dissemination of information and availability of educational resources on sexual and reproductive health may be resulting in comparable levels of knowledge among individuals of various age cohorts.

The role of Christian religious education teachers is crucial in guiding teenagers to use gadgets wisely and in line with Christian teachings. Uncontrollable use of gadgets can lead to addiction, which in turn can damage the understanding of Christian values and moral behavior of adolescents. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Christian Religious Education Teachers in Preventing Gadget Addiction in Teenagers. The results of this study show that (1) Christian Religious Education teachers have a very important role in helping adolescents understand and overcome the problem of gadget addiction through moral and spiritual education based on biblical values. (2) Christian Religious Education teachers need to collaborate with parents in preventing and overcoming gadget addiction in adolescents (3) Christian Religious Education teachers, play a role in guiding adolescents in dealing with the use of gadgets wisely, as well as highlighting strategies that can be used to achieve this goal including effective communication. Thus, Christian Religious Education Teachers as a foundation in overcoming and building awareness of adolescents so that adolescents are not affected in the excessive use of gadgets.

Choose life, not vapes: empowering teens to make healthier choices- a cross sectional study.

The tobacco epidemic is more than just a health concern. It is a socioeconomic one with far-reaching effects. Smoking being the most common mode of tobacco use worldwide, has an impact on human life and well-being. Hence, this study aimed to seek the knowledge and awareness of adolescents about e-cigarettes and spread awareness about the harmful effects of vapig so as to reduce the ongoing rise in cigarette consumption among these individuals. A questionnaire-based cross-sectional survey was conducted among 100 teenage children of urban schools in Delhi NCR of age group 14-17 years which collected information on teenage vaping practices, views about vaping,and their accessibility to vaping items. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Sciences- SPSS version 25 through frequency and percent, graphs, Bar chart and Chi-squared test. A total 100 participants took part in the survey out of which of 59 were males and 41 were females. A significant proportion of the participants (94 %) possessed knowledge of e-cigarettes, and 14 % had actually used them at some point. Most of the participants were aware of the disposable variety of e-cigarettes and most of them thought that e-cigarettes were less addictive. A significant portion of educated young adults who have never vaped are susceptible to using e-cigarettes in the future. It is also discovered that e-cigarettes are still available and being promoted in spite of the restrictions. Inaddition to good health education for minors, more stringent enforcement of current rules and monitoring could help prevent larger uptake in the future.

The Association of Social Media Use and Eating Behaviour of Belgian Adolescent Girls Diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa-A Qualitative Approach.

Social media have become integral in adolescents' lives, presenting both opportunities and risks, especially concerning psychiatric issues like eating disorders, prevalent in this vulnerable age group. This qualitative study employed semi-structured interviews with seven adolescent girls (aged 15-17) diagnosed with eating disorders. Interviews covered seven predefined topics, recorded and transcribed for thematic analysis. Participants identified four key themes: exposure to selective content, biased interpretation, behavioural adaptation, and evolving perspectives during recovery. They highlighted social media's role in exacerbating body dissatisfaction and altering behaviours related to eating disorders. This research underscores the critical need for awareness and guidance in adolescents' social media use to mitigate negative impacts, emphasizing the potential link between exposure to specific content and cognitive-behavioural changes in those with eating disorders. Further investigation is warranted to deepen our comprehension of these dynamics.

Impaired Hypoglycemia Awareness in Children and Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes and its Association with Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy

Abstract Background In general, hypoglycemia is more frequent among the young explaining the higher frequency of impaired awareness of hypoglycemia (IAH) among children andadolescents. Thus the aim of the current study was to assess the frequency of IAH among anEgyptian cohort of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes and identify the possible association between impaired awareness of hypoglycemia and autonomic neuropathy. Patients and Methods A crosssectional study recruiting 100 patients with type 1 diabetesfor at least 6 months duration and aged less than 18 years old recruited from the Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes Unit (PADU). Patients with other form of diabetes, cardiac disease,thyroid disease, anemia, other chronic disease, patients with intellectual disabilities or patients taking any medications were excluded from the study. The Gold and Clarke questionnaires were used to assess hypoglycemia awareness among the studied cohort.Cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) was assessed using 15 minutes Holterelectrocardiography (ECG). Results Among the studied cohort, 42% showed IAH using theClarke’s and Gold's Questionnaires. When assessing CAN, 46% of the studied cohort showedresting tachycardia and patients with resting tachycardia showed significantly longer diseaseduration.There were no normative heart rate variability parameters values for the Egyptian children that can be used as a reference for diagnosis of cardiac autonomic neuropathy. So weused sex and age matched control group to find specific cutoff values for heart rate variabilityparameters to diagnose CAN. The results showed that the prevalence of CAN among studiedpatients was 88% and there were no significant correlation between CAN and both questionnaires score. 55.7% of CAN patients were aware while 44.3% were unaware. Thus,there were no association between impaired awareness of hypoglycemia and CAN. Theresults showed that there was significant positive correlation between cardiac autonomicneuropathy (CAN) and diabetic duration more than 5 years. Conclusion Although there were no association between impaired awareness of hypoglycemia and cardiac autonomic neuropathy, it is important to screen for CAN in patients with IAH, especially that CAN isusually asymptomatic among children with type 1 diabetes.

The Role of Citizenship Education in Forming Legal Awareness for Adolescents

The role of Citizenship Education in forming legal awareness for teenagers in order to create a law-abiding society. Legal awareness helps individuals understand their rights and obligations and participate in law enforcement. Efforts to increase teenagers' legal awareness through citizenship education involve the integration of technology, criticism, open discussions, teacher training, legal counseling, legal reform, and law enforcement. Legal awareness and legal obedience are important in forming correct legal behavior, involving knowledge, attitudes and legal behavior patterns. Although Citizenship Education can help increase legal awareness in adolescents, challenges such as diverse interests, negative perceptions of the law, appropriate use of language, and connection to real life need to be addressed. Thus, citizenship education plays a key role in building the concept of law enforcement in the younger generation to prevent moral decline and face the challenges of globalization.

Educación Socioemocional como Herramienta del Proceso de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje en los Estudiantes de 1ro de Bachillerato

This study focuses on the implementation of social-emotional education as a pedagogical approach aimed at strengthening adolescents' mental health. The main objective is to develop a manual of socio-emotional tools designed to improve the teaching-learning process for first-year high school students. The methodology used is quantitative, including surveys and questionnaires, to gain a comprehensive understanding of how teachers use socio-emotional tools and how this influences students in the educational context. The sample, composed of 74 young people from the Guillermo Mensi Educational Unit in Cuenca, Ecuador, was intentionally chosen. During data collection, A survey was administered to educators to investigate their use of social-emotional tools, and two questionnaires, the TMMS-24 and the SDQ-Cas, were applied to students to evaluate their emotions, skills, and emotional difficulties. The results reveal that teachers recognize the importance of training in social-emotional skills. However, significant deficiencies were identified in the emotional awareness of adolescents, who also experienced emotional difficulties, behavioral problems, hyperactivity, and challenges in their interpersonal relationships. Despite these findings, positive attitudes toward socialization, empathy, and support stood out among students. The need to train teachers and implement effective socio-emotional education programs is emphasized to improve students’ quality of life and prepare them to face emotional and social challenges in their personal and academic endeavors.

Adolescent understanding of concepts related to the developmental origins of health and disease: a Pacific perspective

ABSTRACT The Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) framework has highlighted the link between an adverse early life environment and later disease risk. There is an increasing focus on adolescents as the next generation of parents as DOHaD agents of change to break the disease cycle. However, DOHaD awareness in adolescents is key to enabling knowledge uptake and behavioural change, particularly in Pacific adolescents who have a higher non-communicable disease (NCD) burden. The present study investigated understanding of DOHaD-related concepts among Pacific, Māori and other ethnic groups in New Zealand (ages 16–19 years, n = 209). Awareness of the term NCDs was low across all groups with awareness of the term DOHaD or the First 1000 Days lower in the Pacific group compared to others. Similarly, awareness of some key DOHaD concepts was low overall with some gender differences in response within ethnicity. Interestingly, adolescents' understanding that the early life nutritional environment can impact health across the life-course diminishes significantly with each advancing life-course stage. These results indicate that both education and healthcare DOHaD-related health promotion are lacking with a need for increased engagement with adolescents, particularly Pacific adolescents, to develop and communicate DOHaD content and messaging relevant to this demographic.

Assessing the Awareness, Attitude, and Intention of Adolescents for HIV Screening Services Utilization in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria

Information on efficient HIV prevention strategies especially among adolescents in the region is still crucial because more than 70% of all HIV cases worldwide are in Sub-Saharan Africa. This study assessed the awareness, attitude an Intentions of Adolescents for HIV Screening Services Utilization among secondary school students in Osogbo, Osun state, Nigeria. Using multi-stage sampling, 120 students were selected from Selected Secondary Schools (s1-s3). A semi-structured questionnaire was used to collect data to measure the awareness, attitudes and Intentions of Adolescents to utilize HIV Screening Services. The data were presented as descriptive statistics subjected to independent t-test statistics at p ≤0.05 level of significance. The mean age, for the respondents was 15.73±1.461. Regarding awareness, About 70% of all students reported not to have individually sought information about HIV Screening at some period and the preferred source of information for the adolescents was in their schools. Further results showed a fairly high and positive attitude for the participants (76.66%) but the mean score for intention was 26.11±5.386. The need to raise awareness of the target population through education is recommended.

Evaluation of the Cancer Awareness Measure in Adolescents in Turkiye: A Methodological Study.

Purpose: Cancer awareness can help reduce the associated morbidity and mortality. There is no scale for the assessment of general cancer awareness in Turkiye. This study aimed to evaluate the cultural relevance and psychometric properties of the cancer awareness measure (CAM) for use in adolescents in the Turkish population. Methods: This methodological study included 400 students attending seven high schools in western Turkiye, recruited by convenience sampling. The CAM was translated into Turkish and assessed for content validity by expert panel opinion and content validity index (CVI). The Turkish CAM was administered online, and its reliability was assessed using Cronbach's alpha coefficients, item-total and item-subscale correlation coefficients, and test-retest analysis. Results: The Turkish CAM had excellent content validity (scale CVI = 0.99). Cronbach's alpha for the entire scale was 0.72, and item-subscale correlation coefficients were 0.33-.75 (p < 0.001). Test-retest reliability was good, with an intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.83 for the entire scale (p < 0.001). The students' mean score on the Turkish CAM was 45.60 ± 7.23 (on a scale of 11-77), indicating moderate cancer awareness. Conclusion: The Turkish CAM is a valid and reliable measure that can be used to assess cancer awareness in adolescents in Turkiye. Interventional studies should be performed to measure and increase cancer awareness and promote cancer prevention among young people.

ObjectiveEarly substance use has been linked to various adverse outcomes and escalates quickly during adolescence. Delaying the onset of substance use among adolescents is a primary public priority as it is associated with severe effects. The objective of the study is to develop and determine the effectiveness of a School-based Substance Abuse Prevention Programme (SSPP) on awareness, attitude, peer pressure, and life skills towards preventing substance abuse among adolescents. MethodPhase I of the study is a qualitative approach, where a focus group discussion (FGD) will be conducted among different stakeholders to explore their perceptions regarding the prevention of substance use among adolescents. The anticipated sample size is 38. Thematic analysis will be done by using ATLAS.ti software. The inputs given by the stakeholders will be incorporated in developing the intervention (SSPP). Phase II is a cluster randomized controlled trial. A minimum of 210 adolescents (105 each in the intervention and control groups) between the age group of 13 to 15 years from 8th and 9th grade will be recruited for the study. In this study, the school will be the cluster and will be randomly assigned either to an intervention or control arm. The data will be collected at pre, post, 3-month, and 6-month intervals. The ethical approval was obtained from the Nepal Health Research Council Committee, Nepal (NHRC 276/2023). The trial was also registered under the Clinical Trial Registry of USA-Clinical Trials.gov (CTRI 06004726/2023/08/22/). Descriptive and inferential statistics will be used to analyze the data. Expected resultsImplementation of the SSPP module will improve the awareness, attitude, peer pressure, and life skills of adolescents toward preventing substance use behavior. Overall, the study aims to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.5- ‘Good Health and Well-being; strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, including narcotic drug abuse and harmful use of alcohol.’ ConclusionThe present study protocol will help to develop a unique training module (SSPP) focused on preventing substance use behaviour among adolescents in Nepal.
