A Narrative Review of the Sociotechnical Landscape and Potential of Computer-Assisted Dynamic Assessment for Children with Communication Support Needs

This paper presents a narrative review of the current practices in assessing learners’ cognitive abilities and the limitations of traditional intelligence tests in capturing a comprehensive understanding of a child’s learning potential. Referencing prior research, it explores the concept of dynamic assessment (DA) as a promising yet underutilised alternative that focuses on a child’s responsiveness to learning opportunities. The paper highlights the potential of novel technologies, in particular tangible user interfaces (TUIs), in integrating computational science with DA to improve the access and accuracy of assessment results, especially for children with communication support needs (CSN), as a catalyst for abetting critical communicative competencies. However, existing research in this area has mainly focused on the automated mediation of DA, neglecting the human element that is crucial for effective solutions in special education. A framework is proposed to address these issues, combining pedagogical and sociocultural elements alongside adaptive information technology solutions in an assessment system informed by user-centred design principles to fully support teachers/facilitators and learners with CSN within the special education ecosystem.

Creation of Historical Building Information Modelling (HBIM) Library, A Case Study of Registered House (No:56), Akçakoca

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a methodology created by adapting information technologies to the construction industry, creating 3D parametric and object-based models, and adding time and cost data to the models. In recent years, the creation of digital cultural heritage is a current field in terms of protecting cultural heritage and transferring it to future generations. Development of technology and the increase in opportunities, destinations that cannot be physically visited due to access difficulties or pandemics are trying to transfer their cultural richness to digital environments. For this purpose, Historical Building Information Modelling (HBIM), which is the version of BIM applied to historical buildings, emerges as an important tool. The digitalization of cultural heritage structures by modelling is a process that requires intensive labour due to the lack of uniform details, and the fact that they were made with different construction techniques at different times and periods. For this reason, this process will be improved with the creation, dissemination, classification, and accessibility of parametric object libraries with HBIM. In this direction, the research method; is based on the analysis and synthesis of the literature review and case study in particular on modelling and library studies as a case study. As a field study, it was created in three dimensions with HBIM on a registered civil architecture example that has lost its originality in Düzce province, Akçakoca district, and the building and library elements were modelled and transferred to BIM. The original state of the building has been created to be experienced interactively. As a result, the building and its elements are defined by parametric objects. With the development of the HBIM library, the elements of the structures of similar typology become digitally accessible and digital legacies are created much more easily and effectively. HBIM studies create a comprehensive three-dimensional data set in digital documentation, restitution periods and restoration studies.

Transformation of Print Media Management Into Online Media (Case Study on Bengkulu Ekspress Daily Media)

This study examines the management transformation process carried out by print media in switching to online media platforms. The research focuses on understanding media management carried out by print media in adapting information technology and its content into the online realm. Qualitative research methods were used, including an in-depth interview with the editor-in-chief of Media Harian Bengkulu Ekspress, which has transformed into online media. Data analysis was carried out to determine the management changes made by the Bengkulu Ekspress Daily media when switching to online media. The results highlight the transformation of media management of Bengkulu Ekspress Daily, starting from the formation of a special team that handles this online media itself, changes in news language that follow the tastes of the community, adjustments to the layout on the web, and interaction with readers through communication media. The implications of this transformation show significant changes in business models as well as increased reader engagement through online platforms

The current advancement in information technology has had a significant impact on information provision and management. The presence of the internet as the primary medium for accessing information has become a fundamental necessity in modern society. In the context of higher education, the Industrial Engineering Program is not exempt from challenges in disseminating and efficiently managing information. Vital information often gets scattered and is difficult to access, especially when conveyed through conventional methods such as physical bulletin boards or WhatsApp messages. This research is conducted using in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, including program chairs, administrative staff, faculty, and students. The findings of this research strongly indicate the need for the development of a more efficient information management system within the Industrial Engineering Program. As a proposed solution, a website will be developed with various key features, including announcement management, curriculum information, schedule management, administrative management, guidance management, and document archiving. The implementation of this system is expected to address several identified issues, such as limited accessibility to important information and inefficient management. Thus, the operational efficiency of the Industrial Engineering Program is expected to be significantly enhanced. The results of this research highlight the importance of adapting information technology in the constantly evolving context of higher education. In an era where information technology continues to advance, efforts to utilize it optimally in information management within educational institutions like the Industrial Engineering Program remain highly relevant. Choosing a Scenario for Improving the Sustainability of Supply Chains in Construction

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine acceptable methods for choosing directions for increasing the sustainability of supply chains in construction. The study also determinate the factors affecting the sustainability of supply chains in construction Theoretical framework: Supply chain integration in many industries is based on integrated enterprise resource and relationship processing systems (ERP), but the construction industry has traditionally lagged behind in these processes. The need to create effective relationships in supply chains and increase the resilience of supply chains in construction has become evident in the context of the pandemic. However, the weak formalization of these processes in construction has led to the need to find acceptable methods for choosing directions for increasing the sustainability of supply chains in this industry. Methodology: This is a descriptive-based study. Approaches to factors of the supply chain stability were researched and systemized and from this the situations for the increasing stability of the supply chains are determinated. The choice of a model of the increasing stability of the supply chains was determined by the analytic hierarchy process. Hierarchy analysis was used as a method for selecting a scenario for increasing the sustainability of supply chains in construction. Findings: The results of the research carried out to conduct a multi-criteria choice using the opinions of experts in the construction industry. The choice of scenarios for increasing sustainability is due to the fact that the introduction of adaptive information technologies allows to take into account all groups of selected factors, while ensuring synchronization of production planning, product shipment and inventory management, increasing market feedback, ensuring that production volumes correspond to product demand, as well as reducing logistics costs and the price of products for the end customer. Research, Practical & Social Implication: The study contributes to a better understanding crucial factors of the sustainability of supply chains in construction. The processes of analyzing and evaluating factors contribute to improving the sustainability of supply chains in construction, by focusing on critical factors, adopting them according to the requirements of the construction. Originality/value: Based on the presented results, concluded that the scenario formation of increasing sustainability of the sustainability of supply chains by the introduction of adaptive information technologies allows to take into account all groups of selected factors, while ensuring synchronization of production planning, product shipment and inventory management, increasing market feedback, ensuring that production volumes correspond to product demand, as well as reducing logistics costs and the price of products for the end customer.

It becomes the basic basis for making decisions that are important for company policy in good situations or in unpredictable situations such as the covid 19 pandemic. A leader in a medium-sized business of course pays attention to all aspects of support that make the decision device taken by paying attention to reactions occurring both internally and in the market. You will see the character of a leader who is ready to face a crisis, especially in adapting information technology as part of the relocation of businesses to digital caused by the difficulty of penetrating the market directly. Researching how many medium-sized business owners in Bandung are adapting the use of information technology as a means of business in 2020-2022. As a result of the leadership crisis, it is feared that it can have an impact on the running of the business by analyzing qualitatively that the behavior of an agile leader will have an impact on the use of information technology in their business. For that it can be seen how much a leader is able to adapt or in other words he is able to accept changes quickly and apply them in his business. For this reason, this research is expected to be a reference tool in terms of leadership characteristics in dealing with crises due to the pandemic or post-Covid-19 pandemic.

THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF URBAN TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SYSTEMS INTELLECTUALIZATION

Topicality. The scientific article is devoted to a research analysis of the features of intelligent technologies use for logistics processes managing, their impact on digital transformation and modernization of logistics systems. Intellectualization is a new trend in the economic development of countries derived from smart technologies, including cloud computing, mass data and the Internet. Intelligent program services based on intelligent terminals, provided by Internet enterprises, bring an unprecedented effect and challenge in this field. The relevance of the study derived from the digital transformation both the world economy and Ukraine, in particular, and within these conditions the new information technologies and intelligent systems are being formed and applied to improve and modernize transport and logistics processes. The article deals with theoretical aspects of the logistics processes intellectualization.Aim and tasks. The purpose of the work is to study the theoretical and methodological foundations for the implementation of the intellectualization concept for the management of urban transport and logistics systems in terms of adaptability.Materials and methods. The work used the methods of theoretical research, namely: the method of analysis, synthesis, the method of going from the abstract to the concrete, deduction and induction, and the method of idealization was also used in the article.Research results. During the study it was found that the features of transport and logistics systems depend on the development strategies of administrative-territorial units and the growth driver. The best countries of the world were determined by the criterion of logistics efficiency, and that made it possible to compare the results of these countries with Ukrainian indexes. Based on the results of a comparative analysis, it is substantiated that the strong position of European countries in the ranking is due to the efficient operation of their transport system and focus on the use of achievements in the field of intellectual technologies, in contrast to the weak position of Ukraine, that is due to the insufficient use of adaptive information and communication technologies in organizing of complex supply chains by subjects of transport and logistics infrastructure. The functional components and objects of intelligent transport systems are characterized. It has been established that autonomous intelligent transport systems are mainly used, which are not integrated, that, in turn, reduces their effectiveness. A theoretical and applied model for the development of urban transport and logistics systems in conditions of adaptability is built, which is based on the modern empirical and theoretical basis of the development of urban transport and logistics systems, which are influenced by the processes of globalization, socialization and intellectualization involving the use of computer, information and communication technologies when controlling vehicles and transport networks in real time. The key aspects of influence on the management of the transport system in the conditions of its socialization and intellectualization are indicated. The necessity of strategic plans and programs developing to implement the effective use of intelligent transport systems applied technologies is substantiated, that will contribute to solve the transport problems of the cities. This made it possible to determine the main conceptual foundations for the adaptation of intelligent transport technologies to the urban logistics system, which is currently in the conditions of locality, heterogeneity, with a low level of adaptability and orderliness.Conclusion. The rapid development of modern cities, the increase in the number of vehicles, the development of new routes increases the amount of information needed for analysis and promt decision-making, and this, in turn, stimulates the active use of intelligent information technologies. Currently, a new stage of logistics is developing, which manifests itself through the socialization and intellectualization of logistics activities, that involves a continuous process of knowledge obtaining, its increasing, transforming and processing to find an effective solution in the system managing at a given time. Therefore, the further development of urban transport should be based on the use of computer technology, and namely intelligent transport systems. It is expedient for cities and other territorial-administrative units to develop their own approaches corresponding to their own unique characteristics in the development of information and transport systems.

Geospatial Information Research: State of the Art, Case Studies and Future Perspectives.

Geospatial information science (GI science) is concerned with the development and application of geodetic and information science methods for modeling, acquiring, sharing, managing, exploring, analyzing, synthesizing, visualizing, and evaluating data on spatio-temporal phenomena related to the Earth. As an interdisciplinary scientific discipline, it focuses on developing and adapting information technologies to understand processes on the Earth and human-place interactions, to detect and predict trends and patterns in the observed data, and to support decision making. The authors – members of DGK, the Geoinformatics division, as part of the Committee on Geodesy of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, representing geodetic research and university teaching in Germany – have prepared this paper as a means to point out future research questions and directions in geospatial information science. For the different facets of geospatial information science, the state of art is presented and underlined with mostly own case studies. The paper thus illustrates which contributions the German GI community makes and which research perspectives arise in geospatial information science. The paper further demonstrates that GI science, with its expertise in data acquisition and interpretation, information modeling and management, integration, decision support, visualization, and dissemination, can help solve many of the grand challenges facing society today and in the future.

Towards an Adaptive Strategic IT Governance Model for SMEs

Information technology (IT) can have a direct and indirect impact on business performance. New technologies change the risks at the strategic and governing levels of an enterprise. In the age of digitalization, we need to develop new understandings and approaches to governance and management. The most established IT governance (ITG) models, such as COBIT, ITIL and CMMI, are universal, one-size-fits-all models that are not in line with contingency theory and are predominantly designed for large multinational enterprises. They are too cumbersome and cost-intensive for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to use effectively. Therefore, there is a need to develop more efficient models that are contingency-based and easier to implement than existing models and thus adaptable to the actual needs of the business. This paper presents an empirical evaluation of key ITG mechanisms from the literature that clearly shows that several are not universally but situationally necessary, thus demonstrating the need for new contingency-based ITG models.

Residência Pedagógica: experiência com a formação docente em química

This paper shares the report of the experiences built by three (3) chemistry residents participating in the Pedagogical Residency (PR) - subproject Chemistry at the Federal University of Amazonas. Between October 2020 and May 2021, the activities in the RP program were divided into three moments: (1) The offering of an online course on Project Based Learning (PBA), (2) Webinar and (3) The observation of remote teaching in a public school. These activities showed the residents how challenging the teaching exercise is, especially, amid the difficulties of adapting information technology to ensure school activities in the midst of a health emergency. What was observed was the teachers' lack of preparation in overcoming the situation, given the students' lack of interest and motivation. On the other hand, the training provided by RP assigned us pedagogical values to our teaching identity in relation to thinking of innovative methodologies for the classroom as well as searching for interventions aligned to pedagogical practices and the use of technology that would stimulate student motivation.

The Risks of Payment Systems of Banking Institutions of Ukraine

Risks of payment system of banking institutions of Ukraine are considered in this study. Risk events clearly correlate to the effectiveness of network interaction of banking institutions to adapt information technology of payment systems in the payment portfolio of banks when changing operating environment, so mechanism for minimizing their probability has been developed. Economic elements of the mechanism of minimizing the risks of payment systems are identified, which allow forming the planned level of profitability, risk and liquidity of institutions (organizations) within the relevant principles, methods, levers, cash flows in order to respond and adapt to changes in the environment. A methodical approach to assessing the effectiveness of risk management of payment systems of banking institutions, which is from the standpoint of multivariate structuring and a list of their indicators of the microeconomic level, forms an optimal set of tools to minimize the set of risks. Indicators of payment systems of Ukraine are determined, according to the net level of credit risk, liquidity risk, business risk, investment risk, legal risk, operational risk, systemic risk, technological and information security risk. The impulse index of functioning of payment systems of Ukraine is calculated. A neuro-fuzzy model for assessing the individual credit risk of participants – legal entities (users-borrowers) of card payment scoring of a banking institution is developed. The basic criteria for assessing the individual credit risk of a participant-legal entity (user-borrower) by card payment scoring are determined.

The use of information technology by restaurants in Joglosemar, the mainstay city of Indonesian culinary

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Semarang (Joglosemar) are top culinary destinations in Indonesia, with information technology (IT) needed to strengthen its development. Therefore, this study examines IT's adaptation in restaurants owned by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at Joglosemar. This is a descriptive research with data obtained from 200 restaurants each in three cities through questionnaires, interviews, and observation, culminating in 600 restaurants. The result showed that restaurants adopt IT contact (92%), online transportation partner (81%), non-cash cashier payment (66%), IT cashier (61%), Wi-Fi (57%), and large orders-outside restaurant (49%) to improve their performance. This research contributes to providing a current overview of the development of IT restaurants in Indonesia, therefore it is expected to enable the entrepreneur to be more ready to face the business competition in the digital era. This research is limited to Joglosemar, therefore further study needs to investigate other top culinary cities. Secondly, this is a descriptive research on the adoption of IT by restaurants in Joglosemar, therefore further study needs to elaborate on the determinants factors of adoption of IT by restaurants and its effects on performance.

PEMBERDAYAAN LEMBAGA KEUANGAN SYARIAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERAN INKLUSI KEUANGAN

With a large number of unbanked people in Indonesia, innovative access to Financial Inclusion is needed. Financial inclusion activities that aim to eliminate all forms of obstacles both in the way of prices and non-prices of public access to use or utilize financial services. Community Service - PKM, this time aims to increase the role of the financial services sector, especially to the owners, top management, and employees of several LKMS (Sharia Microfinance Institutions) - Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS), as executors or performers of financial activities inclusive which will have an impact on improving the welfare of the dhu'afa community, poverty alleviation and regional / regional economic development. This PKM is followed by the owner, top management, and employees of BPRS members as ASBISINDO - Indonesian Sharia Bank Association located in Greater Jakarta. The method used is to provide training through lectures, discussions, and questions and answers, then carried out focus group discussions and the distribution of questionnaires. The results show that the quality and speed of sharia banking services must continue to be improved, among others, by developing reliable and adaptive information technology. To accelerate the development of Islamic financial inclusion, it can be done by establishing a micro waqf bank or working together with Micro Sharia Financial Institutions (LKSM) such as Baitul Mal Wattamwil (BMT) or Islamic financial services cooperatives (KKJS), while maintaining prudential principles. BPRS is expected to continue to develop and monitor the implementation of Islamic financial inclusion through microfinance without collateral, qardhul hasan financing, or joint liability through group leaders or financing thaharah for low-income people.Keywords: Financial Inclusion, Unbanked - no bank account, LKMS - Islamic Microfinance Institution, Financial Services.

Problematic Internet Usage by Adolescents with Disabilities

Introduction. The intensive development of adaptive information technologies leads to the active inclusion of adolescents with disabilities in Internet communications, expanding the possibilities of their social adaptation. At the same time, the limitation of opportunities for social interaction due to impaired psychophysical development is an additional factor in the uncontrolled involvement of adolescents in Internet communication and the risk of Problematic Internet Usage.The aim of this research is to study the degree and indicators of Internet addiction among adolescents with disabilities in conjunction with indicators of their social adaptability.Methodology and research methods. Theoretical and empirical study is based on the provisions of the psychological theory of activity and personality, culturalhistorical theory of L. S. Vygotsky, the ideas of domestic and foreign psychology about addictive behaviour including about risk and factors of Internet addictive behaviour normally developing adolescents and adolescents with disabilities. The study was carried out using empirical methods (questionnaires, psycho-diagnostic methods, survey methods); methods of quantitative analysis of empirical data, including methods of mathematical statistics: comparison of samples by the Mann-Whitney test; correlation analysis using the linear Pearson correlation coefficient. The calculations were performed using the Excel software package and using the SPSS 16.0 software package (Statistical Package for Social Science).Research results and scientific novelty. The general and specific features of the Internet usage among adolescents with disabilities are identified; personality traits are identified as a prerequisite for the Problematic Internet Usage in this category of adolescents. It has been determined that virtual communication acts for adolescents with disabilities as a kind of adaptation-compensatory resource that allows overcoming communicative difficulties. At the same time, inadequate selfregulation of behaviour makes it difficult for self-control to stay online and thereby increases the risk of the negative impact of interaction on the Internet on their physical and mental state. It is revealed that the personal background of the Problematic Internet Usage has specificity depending on the nature of developmental disorders in adolescents.Practical significance. The results of the research can be used in the work of a psychologist and a teacher for the diagnosis, prevention and correction of Internet addiction by adolescents with disabilities.

Exploring adaptive information sharing from the perspective of cognitive switching

PurposeMicroblogging as one kind of social media application provides an important information sharing platform. Adaptive information sharing is the combination of adaptive information technologies (IT) use behavior and information sharing behavior and subsequently refers to adaptive use of IT oriented to information sharing. The purpose of this paper is to understand adaptive information sharing in the context of microblogging from the perspective of cognitive switching.Design/methodology/approachA research model was developed and survey data were collected. The partial least squares structural equation modeling was employed to verify the research model.FindingsAdaptive information sharing is positively impacted by other people’s use, discrepancies and deliberate initiatives among which other people’s use is the key determinant. Meanwhile, task self-efficacy positively moderates the effect of other people’s use on adaptive information sharing.Practical implicationsDevelopers of microblogging should as far as possible create learning atmosphere and learning culture. With learning atmosphere and culture, more and more users could keep on learning from observing other people. Consequently, more and more users would be willing to try new features of microblogging to share information.Originality/valueThis study examines adaptive information sharing by extending adaptive IT use behavior from the levels of technology, system and feature to the information level, presenting a new lens for adaptive IT use and information sharing alike.

Digital equity for marginalised and displaced peoples

ABSTRACTUpholding human rights – in particular for marginalised and displaced peoples – depends on exercising rights in data, information and records. In considering these information rights we face the challenge of designing ethical, adaptive, and inclusive information systems and technologies that support the actualisation of human rights, social justice, and Indigenous and First Nations sovereignty. Too often systems designed for an uncritical and generalised “happy centre” fail those on the margins, in all of their individualised complexity.The purpose of this panel will be to introduce an international initiative aimed at addressing this challenge, and to explore a developing research agenda for tackling the broad range of socio‐technical issues that comprise this wicked problem. It is hoped that this panel will galvanise the community towards action and engagement with this programme or its goals.
