Problems With Digital Currency: Cryptocurrency In Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the Indonesian government's policies regarding cryptocurrency transactions and taxation and accounting practices in Indonesia. In addition, this research also conducts literature studies abroad. Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency Regulation No. 13 of 2022 and No. 8 of 2021 concern guidelines for organizing crypto asset physical market trading on futures exchanges to oversee cryptocurrency transactions. Cryptocurrency transactions in Indonesia are considered VAT objects and are subject to income tax. Accountants face a challenge because there is no accounting standard that explains why cryptocurrency must be considered. It is hoped that the Indonesian Accounting Standards Board can conduct discussions related to accounting standards for cryptocurrency. Besides, the government's role is very important in making financial technology policies and systems in order to mitigate the risks of cryptocurrency transactions so that they can benefit investors and the tax system in Indonesia.

PEMBERDAYAAN POTENSI MASYARAKAT MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN USAHA MIKRO DAN KOPERASI DI DESA KARANGPANDAN REJOSO PASURUAN

Empowerment of Micro Enterprises and Cooperatives plays an important and strategic role in supporting the success of the MSME and cooperative programs, especially in the economic businesses of MSME and cooperative actors so that the potential that exists in society can be optimized and developed in the world of entrepreneurship. Empowerment activities for good and professional micro and cooperative businesses will have a positive impact on the local economy in particular and at the same time the national economy. Empowerment through training and mentoring of micro and cooperative businesses is expected to be a reference for partners in doing entrepreneurship. Various efforts in the context of developing MSMEs and cooperatives have been carried out by various parties, including empowerment through training and mentoring, introducing approaches in the framework of MSME financing, cluster approach patterns and partnership patterns. The purpose of the empowerment service is to increase the knowledge of partners in preparing accounting reports, marketing and developing human resources through training and mentoring activities. This entrepreneurial empowerment activity was carried out from the 5th to the 7th of June 2023 which took place at the Karangpandan Rejoso Pasuruan Village Hall. Activities are carried out using lecture methods, discussions and applications from making simple bookkeeping reports according to Indonesian Accounting Standards, online marketing and utilizing local potential in entrepreneurial activities. The results of the pretest and posttest in empowerment activities show that from the answers to the questionnaire initially the partner is in the category of not understanding the importance of a financial report and a marketing model but after completing training and mentoring the partners answer with the same questions stating that they already understand and feel the many benefits gained in doing entrepreneurship in increasing partner business.

Analisis Penerapan Laporan Keuangan Pada UMKM Berbasis SAK EMKM Pada Toko Eloris Tani Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara

"This research was conducted to analyze the application of financial statements based on SAK EMKM in MSMEs Eloris Tani Shop, Marangkayu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation to Eloris Tani Shop. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman Interactive Analysis Model. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the recording of the financial statements of the Eloris Tani Store is not in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) applicable in Indonesia. Eloris Tani Store records its financial statements still simply and manually (Cash Basis), which consists of cash expenses and cash income. Researchers provide recommendations, namely it is hoped that this research can become the basis for Eloris Tani Stores and other MSMEs in starting to record financial statements in accordance with financial accounting standards in Indonesia. Then, for further researchers, it is hoped that they can provide knowledge about the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) to MSMEs that have not recorded financial statements in accordance with financial accounting standards.

Cryptocurrency Transaction: is it Relevant to Indonesian Accounting Standards?

Background: There are no specific accounting standards that may relevant to cryptocurrency transactions. This leads to different accounting treatments for many entities. Based on the existing issues and regulations in Indonesia, how is the classification of accounts that possibly relevant to the Indonesian accounting standard? Purpose and Methods: This study seeks to explain and analyse the accounting challenges for cryptocurrencies within the current accounting framework in Indonesia. As well as to identify relevant models for cryptocurrency accounting. This study is qualitative. Data sources used in this study include key informant interviews. Findings: The study findings concluded that tere are deficiencies in the Indonesian accounting standard. This is driven by differences in the use of an entity’s business model. Differences in business activity leads to differing uses in cryptocurrency accounting. Research Limitation: The results of the research depend on the author’s experience and perspective. The scope of topics can be broadened by adding additional perspectives. Contribution: Contribute to developing the accounting standards in Indonesia. The growing popularity of cryptocurrencies has indirectly led the regulators to create new guidance for accounting financial statements. THE STUDY OF ISLAMICS ACCOUNTING ON AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS CONTRACT IN MADURA

This research aims to find out the characteristic of Madurese farmers in making an economic contract on the agricultural sector by using the Islamic accounting approach. The present research was applied by using qualitative research. The results of this study are some economics contract find out between some parties to solve the farmers' problem in working capital or another necessary to plant the tobacco as (a) Qardh in order to fulfill the short-term necessary of fund of members of farmer association, (b) ijarah can be reached by the farmers by rent the resources in the form of land, (c) musyarakah can be applied by investing all of their resources in tobacco farmerry as land, water, and and fund (d) muzara'ah can be applied by farmer as operator with land owner, and (e) salam can be applied in merchandise system of tobacco. All of the potential activity can be applied by using islamic contract approach, although all of them are not perfectly proper to Islamic accounting standards in Indonesia.

Peranan Tata Kelola Perusahaan dalam Pencegahan Saji Ulang Laporan Keuangan Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Periode 2017-2021

This study aimed to identify the mechanisms of corporate governance can affect misstatement of financial statements, in particular after the implementation of IFRS in financial accounting standards in Indonesia. Especially in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2017-2021 period. Sampling technique used in this study aimed is purposive sampling with the number of samples used as many as 70 companies. The variables used in this study is the proportion of the Board of the Independent Commissioner (Commissioner), Ownership Structure Institutional (INTSOWN), structure of ownership (BLOCK), Corporate Audit (AUDIT), Company Size (SIZE) and Leverage (LEV) as independent variables, and restatements (RSTM) as the dependent variable. The analytical method used in this research is the logistic regression models. The results of this study indicate that the independent variable The proportion of Independent Commissioners (KOMISARIS) X1, Company Scale (SIZE) X5 and Leverage (LEV) X6 have a significant effect on the dependent variable Restatement (RSTM). While the independent variables Institutional Ownership Structure (INTSOWN) X2, Share Ownership Structure (BLOCK) X3 and Audit Company (AUDIT) X4 have no significant effect on the dependent variable Restatement (RSTM).

Sistem Informasi Akuntansi menggunakan Metode Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST)

This study is an accounting information system development using Access 365. The problem discovered was that PT. Ebiz Prima Nusa's accounting information system was insufficient for the scale of the company and not in conformity with financial accounting standards. The goal is to analyze how the accounting information system now in use and to design a suitable accounting information system. The method employed is qualitative, with data gathered through observations, documentation, and interviews. The study is carried out at PT. Ebiz Prima Nusa, a new company that was established in September 2021. Researchers developed a basic application system that can cover the sales, cash receipts, and cash disbursements cycles, as well as the ensuing output, namely financial statements that comply with financial accounting standards in Indonesia.

Penerapan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Pada Organisasi Nirlaba: Literatur Review

<p><span lang="IN">This research examines the extent to which the application of Financial Accounting Standards in non-profit organizations. This research uses a literature study analyzed from a review of 102 articles with three methods, namely planning, implementation, and reporting, by producing 28 articles. Then the 28 articles were reviewed using a comparison technique, looking for similarities between several works of literature and concluding<strong>.</strong> The results of the 28 articles</span><span lang="EN-US">’ review show that</span><span lang="IN"> non-profit organizations have not yet applied the applicable Financial Accounting Standards in Indonesia</span><span lang="EN-US">. </span><span lang="EN-US">They</span><span lang="IN"> are still using the cash basis and single entry method of recording due to several constraints, such as limited human resources and knowledge of financial statement preparation. This research is different from previous research because this research is the first to review how the implementation of SAK in non-profit organizations in Indonesia, most of the previous research focused on only one entity, while this research examines how all non-profit organizations (mosques and churches, foundations, Islamic boarding schools, social institutions, orphanages)</span><span lang="EN-US">.</span></p>

The effect of the implementation of financial accounting standards on MSMEs

Over the last two decades, the global financial landscape has changed dramatically, including the corporate and political climates, the creation of more market-based economies, and rapid technological advancements. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is one form of market-based economies created with the most significant business opportunities and very important socially and economically in developing countries for many reasons. However, MSMEs face significant difficulty related to financial reporting standards to evaluate the achievement of business activities. Most MSMEs use a simple form for financial reporting, such as by calculating the difference between inflow and outflow from their business activities. Also, numerous previous studies that focus on Financial Accounting Standards in Indonesia are still limited. Thus, the present study investigates the factors that influence the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards (FAS) of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Aceh Province, Indonesia. This quantitative study uses cross-sectional data collected by distributing 200 questionnaires to MSMEs actors that spread North Aceh Regency, namely Lhokseumawe city and Bireuen regency. The data are analyzed using descriptive statistics (e.g., frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistic (multiple linear regression) analyses. The study indicated that Perception, Education, Socialization and Incentive factors had significant positive effects on implementing Financial Accounting Standards of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Aceh Province, Indonesia. In conclusion, this study has successfully investigated the factors that influence the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Aceh Province.

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Restatement of Financial Statements

The convergence of IFRS has brought an impact on the changes of financial accounting standards in Indonesia. The variation provide an opportunity for the restatement of financial statements. Therefore, this study aimed to examine CEO turnover, earnings management, and audit quality on the restatement of financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of2014 to 2018. In this study, purposive sampling method was carried out to consider samples with predetermined criteria. The obtained data were about 376 and analyzed using logistic regression with the SPPS 24.0 tool. As the results of data analysis, this study indicated that the CEO turnover had a positive effect on restatement; the earnings management had a positive effect on restatement; and the audit quality had no effect on restatement of financial statements.

Implementation of Accrual-Based Government Accounting Standards in Indonesia: A Review of Organizational Factors

The purpose of this quantitative research is to test and prove empirically the effect of applying accrual-based accounting standards in Indonesia. The population in this study is the head of the financial subdivision and the financial staff of the regional government organizational unit in the DKI Jakarta province. The study used the random sampling method and managed to collect 84 respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used in this study as a data analysis test tool using Smart PLS software version 3.0. The results show that the quality of human resources and organizational commitment has a significant effect on the application of accrual-based accounting standards in Indonesia. Meanwhile, training and organization culture does not have a significant influence on the implementation of accrual-based accounting standards in Indonesia. The contribution for local government to improve their performance in reporting local government financial statements (LKPD) and assess their conformity with accounting standards in accordance with PP No. 71 of 2010 and ensure that the adoption of accrual-based accounting standards has been thoroughly established in local governments.

PENDAMPINGAN PENYUSUNAN LAPORAN KEUANGAN LEMBAGA KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL ANAK YAYASAN HAMBA

This community service activity aims to assist The Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) of the HAMBA Foundation in preparing financial statements. Based on the initial observations, this foundation has not prepared financial statements in accordance to Indonesian Accounting Standards about the presentation of non-profit financial statements. This foundation is supposed to present financial statement in accordance to accounting standard for non-profit organization. The activity of this community service begins with (1) identifying and understanding the existing business processes of The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (2) accounting principles and practices at The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (3) evaluating whether the financial statements that have been prepared are in accordance with the Accounting Standard for Financial statements in Indonesia, and (4) recommendations for improvement to improve the quality of financial statements. The results achieved from this community service are excel software for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation. Thus, the foundation can make financial statements quickly and accountably. The recommendation for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation is to continue using the software to compile the financial reports.

THE IMPACT OF PSAK 73 IMPLEMENTATION ON LEASES IN INDONESIA TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANIES

This study investigates the impact of PSAK 73 implementation regarding Leases by Telecommunications Companies in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach with content analysis. The basis of content analysis in this study is data and information sourced from the company's audited financial statements. The employed data is secondary data in companies' financial statements in the telecommunications sub-sector in 2019 and 2020, sourced from www.idx.co.id. Based on the availability of data, the sample employed in this study consists of 4 companies. This study concludes that the PSAK 73 implementation impacts an increase in asset and liability items. The increase in debt to asset ratio, debt to equity ratio can increase the cost of capital borne by the company, although on the other hand, the return on assets and the return on equity have increased. This study indicates that the companies need to mitigate the risks associated with implementing the newly enacted financial accounting standards. In addition, this study indicates that the Indonesian Chartered Accountants should consider the risks borne by companies related to the implementation of financial accounting standards in Indonesia.

ANALISIS PENERAPAN LAPORAN KEUANGAN BERDASARKAN PEDOMAN AKUNTANSI PESANTREN MENGGUNAKAN PSAK NO.45

Finance is one of the factors that helps boarding schools succeed in their development efforts, since the financial field aids in the management of education. To preserve public trust in financial management, transparency and publishing in the form of presentation of financial statements in compliance with standards are required. It will also provide contributors a sense of security because they believe their donations have been properly managed. As professional organizations of accountants and architects of financial accounting standards in Indonesia, Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants collaborated on the development of the Pesantren Accounting Guidelines, a financial reporting guide for boarding schools. The Financial Accounting Standards of Entities Without Public Accountability are the subject of this accounting guideline (SAK ETAP). Financial Position Report, Activity Report, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes on Financial Statements are the components of Pondok Pesantren financial statements based on pesantren accounting rules. This is a descriptive study that employs a mixed-methods approach (mixed methods). This study employs a mix of research methodologies (mixed methods), in which researchers employ both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in their investigation. Financial reports based on Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines have not been given by Al-Manar Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School and The lack of understanding of financial statement preparation on the part of the Islamic boarding school, as well as the lack of information and socialization related to the Accounting Guidelines for Islamic Boarding Schools

A Critical Review of Statement of Government Accounting Standard (SGAS) Regarding Accounting for Investment

Research aims: This article aims to provide a critical review of the Statement of Government Accounting Standard (SGAS) of Indonesia regarding Accounting for Investment (2016 Revision)Design/Methodology/Approach: This article is a critical review, which criticism seen from a philosophical and theoretical point of view.Research findings: There are five issues that need improvement so that SGAS Accounting for Investment becomes better. The five issues are the definition of government investment that is not in line with the vision of government organizations, inconsistency between investment definition and accounting treatment of investment proceeds, lack of comprehensive accounting treatment for negative investment value, inconsistency between investment definition and disclosure terms, inaccuracy of diction or grammar choice, and incomplete glossary.Theoretical contribution/Originality: the arguments presented in this article can be used by scholars who focus on government accounting to develop a theory of government accounting.Practitioner/Policy implication: Findings of this study can be inputs for the Government Accounting Standard Committee (GASC) to improve government accounting standards in Indonesia, especially SGAS of Accounting for Investment.

Implementation of PSAK 71 In Indonesia: Mutual Fund Investment In Insurance Subsector Companies

Changes in financial accounting standards in Indonesia can result in additional costs that companies, including financial companies, must bear. This study aims to review the implementation of PSAK 71 in insurance companies in Indonesia related to mutual fund investment ownership. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with content analysis. The analysis was conducted with data and information on the financial statements for 2020 and 2019 of insurance sub-sector companies available on www.idx.co.id. A sampling of this study employed purposive sampling with a total sample that amounted to 26 observations. This study concludes that the implementation of PSAK 71 does not affect the measurement and value of mutual fund investments. It only has an impact on the classification of mutual fund investments in the company's financial statements. Also, this study finds that 4 out of 13 insurance companies have implemented a mutual fund investment classification according to PSAK 71 (2017). Insurance companies that have not implemented PSAK 71 (2017) are due to the company's policy that stipulates to apply PSAK 62 (2017), which allows insurance companies to postpone the implementation of PSAK 71 (2017).

Leverage, Arus Kas Operasi, Ukuran Perusahaan, Intensitas Aset Tetap dan Revaluasi Aset Tetap

Since Indonesian accounting standards allow companies to choose between cost model and revaluation model on their fixed asset, there are still few companies that revalued their assets. This study examines what factors make banking companies choose to revaluate fixed asset, that are contracting factors (leverage, operating cash flow), political factors (firm size) and asymmetry information (intensity of fixed assets). By using logistic regression, the result of this study showed that firm size and fixed asset intensity had a positive effect on the company choice to revaluate fixed assets, while leverage had a negative effect on fixed asset revaluation. This study support early research with regard to contracting, political cost and asymmetry information. This study failed to find the effect of operating cash flow on fixed asset revaluation. Based on the results of this study, banks should consider leverage, company size and the intensity of fixed assets more than cash flow when choosing to revaluate fixed assets. The Factors Affecting The Performing Of Indonesian Accounting Standars For Non-Publicly Accountable Entities (Sak Etap) In Smes Assisted By Chamber Of Commerce And Industry (Kadin) Of West Java Province, Indonesia

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector gets more attention from the Government, because the composition of SMEs is large enough in the Indonesian economy when compared to large businesses in order to survive the pandemic. In the framework of national economic recovery (PEN) and given its role as the driving force of the national economy, the government provides various assistance to SMEs. However, there are various problems in SMEs, particularly in arranging of financial statements. The Government has set The Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non Publicly Accountable Entities (SAK ETAP) in 2009, as a guideline for preparing the simple of financial statements, making it easier financial statements preparation in accordance with the standards. The study objective finds out the influence of the Recording System, education level of owners, enterprises’ size, and enterprises’ age on performing of SAK ETAP in SMEs. The population in this study is owners of SMEs assisted by the Kadin Province of West Java. Sampling techniques with incidental sampling, namely participants who participated in community service activities Widyatama university. Technique of data collection uses questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The outcome showed that the Financial Recording System has a effect positively on the performing of SAK ETAP in SMEs, while the education level, enterprises’ size, and enterprises’ age have no effect on the performing of SAK ETAP in SMEs. Recommendation, related parties (such as the SMEs Institution of West Java Province, Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountant (IAI) and University) hold the training and socialization of SAK ETAP

Perceptions of Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs on the Importance of Fair Presentation of Financial Statements with the Implementation of SAK EMKM as a Moderation Variable

The ability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in surviving in the midst of a crisis shows that this group is far more independent than large entities that generally rely on banking in terms of funding and operations. The contribution of SME in the government's trade balance is indicated by the amount of contribution to gross domestic product (GDP). The presence of SME that has not been incorporated is one of the problems that must be addressed, this is because without a difficult legal entity for an SME to take advantage of government financing facilities. In addition, it is difficult for SME to obtain external financial resources, this is because SME often cannot show financial reports that are in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards in Indonesia (FAS). The implementation of the FAS for SME in Indonesia is an effort to make it easy for SME enterprises for each transaction they make. The application of the EMKM SAK makes it easy for SME entrepreneurs to present financial reports in accordance with the Indonesian GAAP in force

THE USING OF TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL IN UNDERSTANDING THE APPLICATION PROCESS OF INDONESIAN ACCOUNTING STANDARDS FOR NON-PUBLICLY-ACCOUNTABLE ENTITIES IN SMEs IN PONTIANAK

This study aims to analyze the application of Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities in SMEs in Pontianak City using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study was conducted in the Pontianak City area using primer data in a form of questionnaire. The total sample in this research was 50 SMEs that were randomly selected. Statistic test used in the data management was Partial Least Square (smartPLS 3.0). The finding of this research shows that the perceived ease of use significantly affects the perceived usefulness and attitude toward using the Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities, while the perceived usefulness significantly affects the attitude towards using IndonesianAccounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities. Moreover, the attitude toward using the Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities significantly affects the behavioural intention to use Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities.Keywords : Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Indonesian Accounting Standards for Non-Publicly-Accountable Entities, SMEs
