The Role of Emerging Uses Technology-based in Accounting Information Processing (A Study of Property & Real Estate Sector in Indonesia)

Financial statements present the financial position and performance of an entity. The timeliness of submitting financial statements is crucial to make the decisions correctly. This research empirically tests the influence of providing modified opinions, the complexity of company operations, and company size on delays in submitting financial statements—the study was conducted using quantitative research methods. We are gathering data through analyses of the financial statements in the property and real estate sectors in 2020-2022. The results show that the complexity of a company's operations significantly positively affects delays in submitting financial reports. Meanwhile, providing a modified opinion and company size does not affect the delay in presenting financial statements. The results of this research imply the importance of using technology-based accounting information processing to meet user needs for timelines in financial statements submitted.

Digital disruption of accounting information and quality of financial reporting of listed money deposit banks in Nigeria

This study investigates the digital disruption of accounting information (DDAI) and the quality of financial reporting of listed deposit money banks (DMBs) in Nigeria. The accuracy of financial reporting and the ability of the Nigerian banks to fully digitalize their services are both severely limited by infrastructure deficiencies and unstable power supplies. The goal of this study is to fill in the gaps in the existing literature on the significance of digital disruption of accounting information in DMBs in Nigeria's developing banking industry. The study employed a field survey research design and data were sourced with the help of self-structured questionnaires. The respondents were drawn from the staff of 13 DMBs listed in Nigeria. A total of 641 questionnaires were retrieved and validated for the study. The reliability and validity of the study instruments were confirmed with the help of the Cronbach alpha test with a range of 0.877 to 0.967 which suggested satisfactory reliability of the measures and further suggested that all the measurement scales of the instrument were good enough. The results showed that the mean values for each category ranged from 3.83 to 4.53 with an overall mean of 4.13. The regression showed that DDAI had a significant effect on qualitative characteristics. The study concluded that DDAI had a significant effect on the quality of the financial reporting of listed DMBs in Nigeria. The outcome significantly contributes to the idea that managers of DMBs should consider the digitalization of the accounting information process to improve the quality of financial reporting.

Analysis of Implementation of Financial Accounting System in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Patrang District, Jember District

In general, many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises engaged in trading businesses have not been able to prepare business performance reports and financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards. Information is a very important component for companies because it is a basic input in every decision making, therefore relevant, timely, accurate, and complete information is needed by every company. Management accounting is a systematic connective tissue in presenting information that is useful and can assist company leaders in their efforts to achieve predetermined organisational goals. Management accounting information has a function as an accounting information processing system and as a type of information. The main challenge faced by MSME entrepreneurs is financial management and management that has not followed good and correct accounting principles. The current research aims to provide an understanding of the application of accounting in MSMEs in Patrang District, Jember Regency, and to find out the obstacles that hinder the application of accounting in MSMEs in Patrang District, Jember Regency and provide solutions for MSME actors in applying accounting with good and correct accounting principles.

Discussion on the Influence of Accounting mputerization on Audit

The implementation of accounting computerization has greatly improved the speed and accuracy of accounting information processing, which is an unprecedented leap in the history of accounting development. However, the popularization and application of accounting computerization are bound to affect audit work; the traditional audit has been unable to adapt to the new situation and new requirements of computerization. Accounting computerization promotes the change of audit theory, technology, and method, but at the same time, it also causes new situations such as computer fraud, brings new audit risks, and puts forward higher requirements for auditors. This paper discusses the influence of accounting computerization on audit work and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for the existing problems of audit work under the condition of computerization.

At the article the issue of the use of automated software that facilitates prompt response and control of the legality of operations were considered. The relevance of the study of the problem of accounting and automation of financial results by domestic forestry enterprises was confirmed. Different problems to increase and improve the efficiency of accounting of the financial results of the operation of enterprises in the forest industry were defined. In practice, this provides an opportunity to use automated software, facilitates prompt response and control of the legality of operations. It was justified that the automation process carried out will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the introduction of automation and their feasibility from an economic point of view, and also prevents their influence on the final result. Performing accounting of financial results under the conditions of an automated information processing system, the entire accounting process is carried out in several stages were installed. The characteristics of these stages were provided. The proposals when, with the help of modern software, accounting functions can be fully automated and the consequences of their work can be presented in any form convenient for users were justified. The introduction of automated accounting systems is a process, the result of which is an improvement in the quality of accounting data was considered. The result of the actions taken is the improvement of the management efficiency of the forest industry. It has been proven that the automated accounting system is appropriate when using it at forestry enterprises. Thanks to the introduction of automation, the time for processing various documents that do not require large storage spaces is reduced. As a result of the conducted research, recommendations were given to enterprises of the forestry industry to switch to the accounting information processing program BAS Accounting. The advantage of the efficiency of the resulting accounting information will be the strengthening of control over the legality and economic efficiency of business operations.

Optimization and Analysis of Intelligent Accounting Information System Based on Deep Learning Model.

Accounting information often accounts for more than 70% of an enterprise's financial report information. Accounting information is an important reference for an enterprise to make major decisions, and it is also the fundamental guarantee for an enterprise to remain invincible under the increasingly fierce business competition. With the vigorous development of enterprise informatization, traditional accounting information processing methods can no longer meet the needs of the information age. Therefore, an excellent enterprise must have a complete set of intelligent accounting information systems. How to extract the information we want from the dazzling accounting information data is a hot topic in the current financial industry. On the basis of analyzing the significance of establishing an information system, this paper creates an intelligent recognition model, which solves the shortcomings of traditional methods such as large calculation errors, time-consuming, and labor-intensive. The research results of the article show that (1) the standardized coefficients of the four influencing factors of CSR, ROE, CEO, and SCALE are relatively large, indicating that these four influencing factors have a significant impact on the development of corporate accounting and you can pay attention to these four aspects. (2) To test the performance of the article model, the experiments are compared with other models. The results show that the model proposed in this paper has the highest running success rate on the two test sets, with a success rate of more than 98%, indicating that the model in this paper has certain advantages in accounting information processing. (3) In the page response time experiment, the financial module has the shortest response time, the number of tests is 60 times, the average response time is 0.5 s, and the success rate can reach 100%. It can reach 0.8 s, and the success rate can be kept above 98%, indicating that the system can work normally. In the system operation stability test, the number of test cases designed for the financial module is 70, the number of executed test cases is 70, and the execution rate can reach 100%. This means that the system can work properly and will not fail during operation.

Credibility Analysis of Accounting Cloud Service Based on Complex Network

Compared with the previous accounting information system (hereinafter referred to as AIS), the dynamic and changing environment of accounting cloud service, cloud storage away from enterprise entities, service modules selected for purchase, and seamless dynamic configuration. With the emergence of new situations such as the reconstruction of accounting information processing process, the emergence of new features increases the information risk of enterprises. Therefore, taking reasonable and effective measures can enable enterprises to intuitively understand whether AIS is credible in the accounting cloud service environment. Referring to the existing research system in the field of reliability evaluation, this paper analyzes the current situation of accounting cloud service and its characteristics compared with the previous AIS and divides it into four parts: normative inspection, index calculation, and reliability calculation to illustrate the method system for measuring the reliability of accounting cloud service. This paper analyzes the reliability requirements and reliability attributes of accounting cloud services and constructs a reliability evaluation grade model combined with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to guide the selection of users and the quality management of cloud accounting suppliers. Considering the complexity and dynamics of AIS reliability evaluation in accounting cloud service environment, the reliability of AIS is also affected by the complex call relationship between modules; combined with the complex network theory, a reliability analysis and evaluation method of accounting cloud service based on complex network are proposed.

Research on artificial intelligence of accounting information processing based on image processing

<abstract> <p>The rapid development and wide application of artificial intelligence is deeply affecting all aspects of human society. Combine artificial intelligence with the accounting industry, use computers to efficiently and automatically process accounting information, and let the accounting industry move towards the intelligent era. This can help people reduce the workload and speed up work efficiency. In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and technology, the use of financial instrument vouchers has exploded, but the processing requirements of financial instrument vouchers have become more and more efficient. Traditional accounting information processing methods, due to the staff's energy and ability, it is often difficult to quickly and accurately handle accounting information. This makes the processing of accounting information lack of timeliness, the degree of utilization of accounting information by enterprises is relatively low, and the demand for intelligent processing of accounting information is constantly pressing. In view of the above problems, this paper uses image processing technology to intelligently identify the content of accounting information to achieve automatic ticket input, improve work efficiency, reduce error rate and reduce labor costs. By simulating the actual 230 invoice images, the results show that the recognition accuracy rate is as high as 98.7%. The results show that the method is effective and has great application value, which is of great significance to the artificial intelligence of accounting information processing.</p> </abstract>

상장중소기업의 강화된 내부회계관리제도 모범규준 적용이 자기자본비용에 미치는 영향

Listed small and medium-sized companies (SMEs), when applying the standards (Standards) for internal accounting control system (IACS), can apply a relaxed Standards unlike large listed companies. This study analyzes the effect of SMEs’ applying the Standards applied to large companies (applying of reinforced Standards) on the cost of equity capital (COE). In addition, this study examines whether the differential role of external corporate governance appears in the relationship between the two.<BR>Empirical results show a negative relationship between the applying of reinforced Standards of SMEs and the COE. This suggests that reinforced application of SMEs’ increases the reliability of the accounting information process and ultimately is related to the reduction of information risk. Specifically, the result is found firms without industry specialized auditors, firms without institutional shareholders and firms with low foreign investor equity, suggesting the application of reinforced Standards is more effectively related to information risk reduction when external corporate governance is weak.<BR>This study has a differentiated contribution by presenting empirical results that SME’s selection of the Standards affects the COE. In particular, the results of this study that proactive design and operation of IACS are related to the reduction of cost of capital.

The issue of revaluation of fixed assets

Modern concepts of accounting development relate to the evolution of the preparation and processing of accounting and analytical information generated within the accounting system of organization. Each economic entity predominantly uses information presented in financial reports involving the value of the enterprise’s assets, including information on fixed assets as documentary evidence of its reliability in investment relations to attract potential investors and partners as well as to receive credit financing.&#x0D; Since fixed assets are an essential component of all assets, improving the efficiency of their use through a qualitative estimation of their value can be considered one of the leading areas of improving accounting of enterprises. Given possible issues in practical application of international financial reporting standards, introduction of indexation system for self-calculation of coefficients of rapid revaluation of fixed assets (tangible non-financial assets) of the organization is highly important. Certainly, this method requires a professional approach, starting with acquisition, construction or creation of fixed assets.&#x0D; In this context, this Article Purpose is to substantiate the need to implement an indexation system for each unit (group) of fixed assets of organization, which are subject to interim revaluation in the future, from the very moment of their acquisition.

The development of management accounting promotes the integration of business and finance, and with the continuous development of information technology and the advent of the era of big data, the development of corporate financial informatization provides tools for the integration of business and finance. This paper improves the big data technology, improves the traditional accounting process, combines the big data technology to build a computerized accounting system, and obtains scientific and effective accounting information processing results through intelligent big data processing. Improving the Training of Experts in Economic Specialties in the Field of Enterprise Information Management

Effective management of an enterprise in a market environment is possible only if there is a variety of economic information covering all aspects of its activities. By means of its purposeful processing, it is possible to form a correct idea of the state of affairs in the enterprise among managers. In this regard, special attention should be paid to the "Management Accounting" educational discipline, which concentrates the knowledge gained by university students in a wide variety of fields of economics. Their integrated application in combination with various methods of accounting and analytical information processing allows forming optimal management decisions in management accounting.Materials and methods. When writing the article, general scientific and special methods were used, which allowed conducting a comprehensive study of the problem under consideration, concluding, and giving detailed recommendations for its solution.Results. Management accounting is a system for collecting and processing economic information intended for enterprise management. With its help, the managers and owners of the economic entity control and regulate its activities. In this regard, the quality of their decisions and the completeness of their implementation largely depend on the state of management accounting. To ensure its proper condition, it is necessary to improve the training of specialists in the "Management Accounting" educational discipline, which should be carried out by integrating students with the economic knowledge gained in the course of previous training. Discussion and conclusions. The research conducted in this article shows that the basis of the "Management Accounting" discipline is the knowledge formed in general economic and general professional disciplines. Their integration within the framework of the discipline under consideration will contribute to the training of qualified specialists in the field of information support for enterprise management.

Research on the influence of accounting computerization and networking on E-commerce

E-commerce has broken through the pattern and boundary of traditional commodity exchange, so that there is no need for face-to-face transactions between merchants and consumers. This has impacted the traditional accounting industry, which broke the environmental setting of traditional accounting industry. This requires the extension and expansion of the economic environment of the new accounting industry, which has led to the computerization of accounting and the network of further upgrades. Accounting computerization and networking have greatly improved the speed and accuracy of accounting information processing, and at the same time made the classification of accounting duties more clear. However, accounting computerization and higher-level networking have in turn affected the development of e-commerce. Due to the rapid development of e-commerce, the corresponding internal auditing schemes of traditional enterprises have been unable to meet accounting and computerization. Strategic management accounting in the system of information space of the enterprise

The paper deals with the peculiarities of the formation of strategic management accounting as accounting and analytical support for adopting strategic managerial decisions. The change in economic realities naturally requires the introduction of modern management technologies that it is impossible without the development of relevant accounting and analytical provision, including focusing, processing and submission of accounting and analytical information to adopt strategic decisions. The purpose of the paper is to determine the role of strategic management accounting in the enterprise information space. The problems of the functioning of strategic management accounting in Ukrainian enterprises are determined: the delimitation of analytical and accounting functions, a one-sided vision of the problem of the methodology of strategic management accounting only as a set of accounting procedures, beyond the connection with analytical functions leads to a decrease in the effectiveness of strategic management accounting and separation from intra-production management. Expert analysis is carried out in questioning two groups of respondents (managers and stakeholders) on an existing system of strategic management accounting as an information platform of trading enterprises. The results of the study confirm that in most such companies, there is a lack of or insatiable use of strategic management accounting as an information platform for strategic management. The development of a strategic approach in accounting practice determines the expansion of the accounting, analytical and control instrument for the formation of information when making strategic management decisions. The components of the management function are analyzed: strategic analysis, strategic monitoring, strategic control. The prospects for further research are determined: the choice of methods and tools for strategic management accounting in the management system of a trading enterprise, especially for the needs of strategic analysis, strategic monitoring and control.

РОЗВИТОК СИСТЕМИ СТРАТЕГІЧНОГО УПРАВЛІНСЬКОГО ОБЛІКУ НА ОСНОВІ ЗБАЛАНСОВАНОЇ СИСТЕМИ ПОКАЗНИКІВ

The expediency of developing strategic management accounting based on the use of a balanced scorecard has been substantiated. The purpose of the article is to identify areas of development of the strategic management accounting system based on the use of a balanced scorecard, as well as obstacles to its effective functioning. The necessity of introducing the position of a strategic management accountant in the conditions of using a balanced scorecard at enterprises has been substantiated. The main differences between a strategic management accountant and a traditional management accountant have been identified. In order to overcome the crisis in the management accounting system, it has been proposed to expand the subject area of the classical management accounting system in order to meet the needs of strategic management of the enterprise. The possibilities of the balanced scorecard to provide comprehensive control and interactive management of the strategic development of the enterprise have been analyzed. The directions for the development of strategic management accounting based on the use of a balanced scorecard have been developed (development of organizational structure for building strategic management accounting system; distinguishing between the functions of strategic management accountants and strategic managers; empirical analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of a balanced scorecard as an accounting tool). Organizational and methodological obstacles that prevent the introduction of a balanced scorecard as a method of strategic management accounting are identified and systematized into three groups. The job functions and strategic tasks of a strategic management accountant have been formed, which will combine traditional accounting functions for the collection and processing of strategic accounting information with analytical, control and communication functions. Organizational and methodological barriers to the smooth implementation of a balanced scorecard as a method of strategic management accounting in the practice of Ukrainian enterprises have been identified and analyzed (associated with improper performance of strategic management functions; associated with improper performance of their functions by strategic accountants; related to the economic and communication problems of the functioning of a balanced scorecard as an accounting tool).

Application of data mining and machine learning in management accounting information system

ABSTRACT In the traditional management accounting information processing method, the method used to solve the problem is often fixed due to excessive assumptions. In order to improve its operating efficiency, combined with artificial intelligence information technology, this paper uses data mining algorithms to conduct data acquisition and rule exploration. Moreover, this paper uses statistics, machine learning and other techniques to analyze the correlation between attribute values and transform data into knowledge needed for decision-making. In addition, this paper combines machine learning algorithms to build an intelligent management accounting information system and realizes the close connection between corporate finance and business, which helps to form a closed-loop management between financial analysis, risk management, performance management, and decision-making. Finally, this paper designs experiments to verify the performance of the model. The article describes the study and forecasting of the basic directions of transformation of forms of accounting in the context of digital technologies development. The research methodology is based on the general scientific methods of cognition: historical, logical, systemic, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis, classification, grouping. Mankind is at the edge of the fourth industrial revolution – based on the digital technologies rapid development and fundamentally changes all the life spheres. Digital technologies development primarily benefits those economic sectors that are associated with the provision of services where thinking, creativity, human participation is needed. Such areas include accounting, which is transformed under the digital technologies influence. This is what determines the relevance of the study. The article researches main digital technologies, such as Artificial intelligence, Cloud technologies and computing, Big Data, Blockchain, the development of which has the greatest impact on the system and forms of accounting. The article states that the definition where the form of accounting is analyzed as an algorithm of information processing from the moment the primary document receiving to reporting is the most reasonable. It is proved that the use of digital technologies is a priority in the development of accounting, which leads to transformations in the "algorithm of information processing from the moment the primary document receiving to reporting" (accounting form), significantly improves the quality of accounting information processing, optimizes costs, expands the access of stakeholders to financial information, provides higher speed of work with accounting information in the real-time regime, provides an increase in the level of customers trust, leads to an increase in the storage of accounting data. The main problems points using digital technologies are the protection of information, the possibility of cyber-attacks, the lack of legal regulation. This causes the slow introduction of these technologies by domestic enterprises. Prospects for further research are the analysis of effective tools to minimize the risks caused by digital technologies in accounting.

FORMATION OF THE ACCOUNTING POLICY OF THE ENTERPRISE IN THE CONTEXT OF ENSURING EFFECTIVE INVENTORIES MANAGEMENT IN THE PROCESS OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY

The article considers the issues of organization and formation of inventory accounting policy, substantiates its role in the system of information support of inventory management processes and highlights the impact on the effectiveness of inventory management in the process of innovation activity. Based on the study of trends in the share of inventories of industrial enterprises and indicators of innovation development, it is established that inventories are not currently considered as a resource that has a significant impact on the innovation potential of the enterprise, and in combination with financial performance indicates inefficient investment in inventories and inefficient inventory management. It is proved that it is possible to increase the efficiency of inventory management due to the optimal organization of the inventory accounting system, the foundations of which are laid during the formation of accounting policies. The author's approach to understanding the accounting policy in the sphere of inventory accounting, which is considered as a set of principles, methods and procedures used by the company to generate quality, timely, relevant, clear, complete and reliable information about the availability, movement, storage and use of inventories, sufficient to make management decisions aimed at improving the efficiency of inventory management and disclosure of inventory information in the financial statements. Coverage of approaches to the formation of accounting policy is based on a combination of organizational, technological and methodological components of accounting policy. The first (organizational and technological) component includes such elements as: inventory principles, laws and regulations concerning accounting of inventories, forms of primary documents and internal management reporting used for inventory accounting, document management rules and accounting information processing technology, control procedures on the movement of inventories and the responsibility of officials, the procedure and frequency of revaluation of inventories and inventory count, the order of analytical inventory, the unit of natural measurement of inventories for each unit of accounting, the interaction of accounting with other services during the transfer and exchange of inventory. The second component (methodological) reveals the principles and rules of receipt, processing, recording and transmission of inventory information, inventory valuation rules, inventory accounting (development of a working plan of accounts), disclosure of inventory information in the financial statements. It has been considered such main elements of organizational, technological and methodological components: features of the work plan of inventory accounts, the issue of documentation of inventory transactions, the recognition of inventories and their evaluation, document management rules, accounting for transport and procurement costs. Variable elements of inventory accounting policy are identified.
