Our article is part of the field of semiotic analysis of a cultural product and aims to compare two specific ways of relating to the object meat-products, due to a different cultural background (Romania/France). In order to analyse the two advertisements, our approach is twofold: firstly, we proceed with a synthetic application of the model proposed by M.Joly, resulting in a properly interpretative cultural reading, on the one hand, and also a connotative reading, on the other. Secondly, we take advantage of J.M. Floch's semiotic square, which highlights the idea that every advertising message is an articulation of four ideological values, which conflict on certain points and converge on others. This model identifies, through its components (mythical, substantial, oblique and referential), the existence of a project generalising itself in the form of a consumer society, the objective of all advertising discourse being its insertion into society and its appropriation. Our research is unique in its interdisciplinary approach, combining marketing, advertising and in-depth linguistic analysis to examine samples and interpret results. By focusing on a specific category of products, it provides a comprehensive explanation of their impact on advertising practices, highlighting its importance and originality in the field.

With the affordability of housing becoming an increasingly pressing issue due to urbanisation, rising housing costs and widening income disparities, this study systematically examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in addressing the complexities of affordable housing (AH) in Europe, highlighting its implications for sustainability and construction efficiency. To enable a comprehensive analysis, the study employs a systematic review approach with mixed methods, incorporating both a quantitative bibliometric analysis and a qualitative systematic analysis. The bibliometric analysis identifies influential journals, authors and research clusters that focus on governance and stakeholder dimensions, practical AI applications, sustainable innovation in urban contexts and policy-driven digital transformation. The systematic review categorises the literature into four main research topics: knowledge discovery, building automation systems, intelligent optimisation and big data and data mining. These areas show significant methodological strengths in AI prediction capabilities, resource optimisation, construction efficiency and real-time stakeholder collaboration. The results of the study highlight current trends, influential research sources and prevailing topics, while also revealing significant research gaps. These insights are critical for policymakers, academics and industry practitioners seeking to effectively and responsibly use AI technologies to create inclusive, affordable and sustainable housing solutions.

Digital transformation is reshaping business and public sector structures, increasingly relying on high-quality, strategically usable data. In this context, Master Data Management (MDM) emerges as a critical enabler of data-driven transformation. This study presents a framework – developed using the Design Science Research methodology – that illustrates how MDM, supported by effective change management, contributes to organizational success. A systematic literature review (SLR) identified key success factors, grouped into four dimensions (management, technology, people and organization, and support), and common pitfalls (CP). Change Management (CM) serves as the central link/bridge between MDM and business impact. A combined approach using CM models by Kotter, Hiatt, and Lewin is proposed to support transformation at organizational and individual levels. Using the success chain concept, the transformational framework shows how improved master data capabilities – driven by the success factors and change initiatives – leads to psychological and behavioural changes in data users and, ultimately, to enhanced corporate success like decision-making efficiency, process optimization or technology adaption. MDM is positioned not as a technical tool, but as a strategic asset in digital value creation and corporate success. The paper is part of a series of articles on the topic of “Measuring the Success of MDM”.

The purpose of the paper is exploring revitalization of the Stone Lights brand, lighthouse tourism, in order to strengthen its visibility and attractiveness. By exploratory research and theoretical analysis authors set the framework for the primary research on a sample of connoisseurs – employees of the Plovput tourism department – company that manages the Adriatic lighthouses. The paper presents the findings which led to the creation and argumentation of the rejuvenation model of the Stone Lights brand. The authors present the causes of the current state of lighthouse tourism and the brand, and pointed out the possible consequences if the proposed activities are not undertaken. Proposed recommendations lead toward strengthen of the Stone Lights brand – developing complementary activities for tourists, improvement of visitor infrastructure and services on the lighthouses. By implementing these ideas the Stone Lights brand could be rejuvenated and ensure long-term success on the global tourism market.

The European Parliament decided to ban new combustion engine registrations in the EU by 2035, without specific plans for synthetic fuels. Currently, there is discussion about possible relaxation of this regulation, but nevertheless, this raises questions about fully electrifying car fleets and building necessary infrastructure. Projecting this growth suggests complete fleet electrification for new registered vehicles by 2031. However, infrastructure expansion is crucial. In 2020, there were 3.1 million electric vehicles and 287,000 charging stations in the EU. By 2035, with an estimated 350 million registered vehicles, 10 million charging stations would be needed, respectively. These challenges indicate a need for a mixed approach. Given the environmental impact of resource extraction for EVs, many experts argue that EVs alone aren't a global or at least a European solution. Investing in synthetic fuel production processes, alongside renewable energy, could create a sustainable lifecycle using existing infrastructure.

The article is devoted to the analysis of factors of market income inequality in 7 developed OECD countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Canada. The main thesis is that the changes in employment structure and, in particular, a decrease in the level of employment in the industrial sector result in growing market income inequality, unless there are any deterrent factors. The decline in industrial employment is caused mainly by trade liberalization and technological progress and is accompanied by other economic processes, discussed in the paper. The key idea of the article is supported by a regression analysis.

Working in a multicultural environment is quite little analyzed in Lithuania but is widely discussed in the world scientific literature and is very relevant in the course of globalization processes. The aspect of multiculturalism has been studied relatively actively and interest in it has increased especially as Lithuania integrates into the European Union and NATO. A lot of research has been already done about intercultural cooperation and its problems, but analyzing and studying the intercultural aspect, its peculiarities and intercultural communication efficiency in a multicultural environment at work, in negotiations, intercultural projects working in multicultural teams in companies or outside is not analyzed enough. At that meanwhile, in the current scientific literature there are no clear descriptions for individual multicultural aspects of communication, as most scientific works present conclusions and proposals based on classification of cultures, by cultural differences, but with little consideration of cultural background or intersection of cultures – the reason for the communication and its productivity, also the necessity of intercultural competence. The aim of this article is – to analyze the scientific literature about working in multicultural environments and to present the recent research of intercultural competence analysis of intercultural communication in Lithuanian companies where people constantly work in multicultural teams. After analyzing the peculiarities of the work of the multicultural teams, make proposals for the improvement of multicultural teamwork, corresponding to today's trends.

The aim of this paper is to examine the extent to which ESG ratings can influence the underpricing effect. It will be investigated to what extent the level of ESG ratings can have an effect on a rated sample. It will also be investigated whether the existence of a neutral to positive rating in the entire sample can have a significant effect on underpricing. A comparison of two large capital markets (USA and Europe) will also be used to analyze whether there are differences in terms of possible effects. The aim is to make a contribution that can create more transparency on the capital markets. Furthermore, this paper should provide conclusions on different investor behavior on the capital markets. The RepRisk rating of approx. 360 sub-frames is used to determine the influence of these variables on underpricing using linear regression. Control variables are used to take into account influencing factors that have already been researched. The influence of these variables on underpricing is then determined in a linear regression analysis. A comprehensive statement on the question of whether ESG ratings can lead to a reduction of information asymmetries in the IPO process or represent a qualitative signal in the sense of signaling theory.

There is a growing demand for modern development methodologies that prioritize flexibility in accommodating changes in customer requirements. Agile project management has emerged as a solution to address these evolving demands by placing customer satisfaction at the core of its principles. This study aims to identify the factors that influence customer satisfaction within agile projects. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a questionnaire survey distributed to 42 experienced employees at Ooredoo, a telecommunications operator in Algeria. The findings revealed that collaboration and quality improvement are the primary factors enhancing customer satisfaction in agile project management. However, the results indicated no statistically significant relationship between prioritizing value creation and customer satisfaction. This study highlights how the agile approach enhances customer satisfaction, beyond just measuring its effects. Practically, agility helps organizations thrive in dynamic, competitive settings, boosting customer satisfaction and securing a sustainable edge. However, success depends on cultivating an adaptive mindset to effectively integrate and maximize agile methodologies.

The objective of this research is to examine the moderating influence of technology skills on the relationship between job demands, individual innovative behavior, and individual performance during the COVID-19 crisis. A sample size of 384 individuals was assessed utilizing structural equation modeling. Results from the first analysis, show a positive and significant association between job demands and individual innovative behavior, as well as job demands and individual performance. When the technology skills variable was introduced as a moderator, results show a negative and significant influence on both associations. In this scenario, when job demands increase, individuals who present low levels of technology skills show high levels of innovative behavior. Similarly, individuals with low levels of technology skills present higher levels of individual performance. Conclusions and recommendations for future research are presented.
