This research aims to analyze human resource strategies affecting innovations impacting competitive advantages in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This study is a quantitative study with a sample number of 150 companies. The result of this study is that human resource strategies have an effect on innovation but innovation has no effect on competitive advantage. The latest findings in this study that for manufacturing companies it will be difficult to innovate because the manufacturing company in Cikarang is a company that assembles its products from products from the country.

This paper investigates how thematic and co-citation analysis provides information about apparel attributes in ecommerce. Versions 1.6.16 and 64.0.4 of the VOS viewer and R Studio are employed to analyze the data. The proposed strategy incorporates a visual component to demonstrate the conceptual development of the research field.Firstly, motor patterns, niche patterns, emerging or declining patterns, and basic pattern themes of EAA study using a strategic map.Secondly, it allows us to assess and illustrate the thematic evolution of a study field from 2001 to 2021.Identifying the different themes is accomplished by using co-word analysis over time.Lastly, it also analyses the co-citation networks of authors for documents. In science mapping, co-citation analysis assumes that works cited together are connected thematically. The analysis is also employed to reveal a study field's intellectual structure. The e-commerce apparel attribute data are grouped into three clusters using these co-citation networks. This study examines the literature and identifies emerging topics and future research directions.Another aspect of this study that reveals the intellectual underpinnings of the research is co-citation analysis or network analysis of research publications.Additionally, this study offers insights into managing apparel e-commerce websites.Future researchers can benefit from co-citation analysis, thematic analysis, and the evolution of themes.

The goal of this research was to look at how market orientation and corporate innovation affected the success of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II, a state-owned corporation. PT Perkebunan Nusantara II is currently facing a challenge in achieving the Health Assessment Level of State-Owned Enterprises in categories B and BB (Unhealthy). Digital change acts as a mediator, while competitive advantage acts as a moderator. The study population consists of business unit leaders from Top Management, Middle Management, and Lower Management. A total of 255 people were included in the study, one from each of the 25 business divisions. The sample strategies employed were Proportional Cluster Sampling and Stratified Random Sampling. SmartPLS as an analytical tool for structural equation modeling. With a total effect coefficient of 0.547 and 0.310, the findings demonstrate that market orientation and corporate innovation have a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage. With a total coefficient of influence of 0.343 and 0.108, market orientation and corporate innovation have a positive but not significant impact on business unit performance. With a total coefficient of influence of 0.570, competitive advantage has a positive and significant impact on the performance of business units. With a total influence coefficient of 0.090, digital transformation is able to reduce the impact of market orientation on business unit performance. With a total effect coefficient of -0.087, digital transformation is unable to control the impact of the company's innovation on business unit performance. At PT Perkebunan Nusantara II in Medan, North Sumatra, competitive advantage can mediate the impact of market orientation on business unit performance with an influence coefficient of 0.311, while corporate innovation through competitive advantage has a positive and significant impact on business unit performance with an influence coefficient of 0.177.

Employee Engagement (EE) is an essential factor to the success of an organization and applies across industries, including the logistics sector. This study aimed to examine the influence of corporate governance (CG), internal control (IC), and corporate reputation (CR) on employee engagement among company members in the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ILFA).The data was collected from 353 Indonesian logistics companies with a total of 742 respondents via google form from October 14, 2021, until February 22, 2022.The data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0.8.3 software under Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS).The findings showed that corporate governance, internal control, and corporate reputation influence employee engagement positively and significantly.

This study aimed to test the capabilities of Emerging Market Score model and the modified Jones model to predict financial distress of bankrupt manufacturing companies listed on Amman stock exchange between 2003 and 2019. The most prominent result was the existence of a statistically significant effect of the Emerging Market Score in explaining the financial distress of healthy industrial companies, and the existence of a statistically significant effect of the managed earnings in explaining the financial distress of bankrupt companies. The study recommends policy makers to think of new means and methods to protect the rights of stakeholders in obtaining reliable financial statements information about their interest.

The relationship between tax planning and firm value is inconsistent.Tax amnesty affects the tax planning implementation and it is necessary to know how it affects. This paper uses panel data from manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), data from 2014 to 2017, and regression analysis.Tax planning is measured by the effective tax rate (ETR) and CashETR (CETR), while the firm value is measured by Tobin Q.This paper finds that only firms with accounting profit, tax-planning strategy can increase the firm value. When tax amnesty as a control variable, only the tax payment reduction strategy (CETR) can increase the firm value. When the tax amnesty is not a control variable, the strategy to reduce tax expenses (ETR) and tax payments (CETR) can increase the firm value. The effect of ETR is greater than CETR in the firm value.

A real challenge related to the efficient market hypothesis (EMH) is that past information will not work in forecasting because it reflects the price. Some classic methods are often used to rely on statistical and quantitative models. However, forecasting becomes more difficult when variables in the model are non-stationary, and relationships between variables sometimes are very weak or occur simultaneously. Ho Chi Minh city stock market (HOSE) is an inefficient emerging market. Besides, constant development with powerful features of algorithms in machine learning and deep learning has opened a promising new direction. The objective of this study is to compare the forecasting capacity of three predictive models: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Long Short-Term Memory Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), and Logistic Regression (LR). The data used is the code of shares in the VN30 list from 1/01/2015 to 27/01/2022, and trading activities take place at the end of each day. This study used the "rolling window," resulting in the RNN forecast to excel at an average of 82.19%. In addition, Logistic Regression plays an important role in interpreting the statistical significance of input variables. From the experimental results, this study proposes that researchers use machine learning algorithms to ensure the accuracy of the prediction. At the same time, investors should pay attention to company characteristics when making investment plans in the medium and long term.
