The purpose of this study is to find out how the public's perception of the implementation of the BPD function in Ambulu Village, Ambulu Village, Jember District and to determine the factors that influence community perceptions of the implementation of the BPD function in Ambulu Village, Ambulu Village, Jember District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, describing the characteristics of the variables of data collection, reduction, data presentation to drawing conclusions. The results showed that the function of BPD in Ambulu Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency was not fully maximized. This is because some of the functions that the BPD does not run optimally, including in the activities of discussing and agreeing on Village Drafts and Regulations with the Village Head, almost never involve the community, this is because it is perceived that BPD members are part of the community itself. Then the benefits of the BPD as a reservoir and channel for the voice of the village people are also still not maximized, because not a few people do not understand the function of the BPD as a legal reservoir for the aspirations of the village community. Then the function of the BPD in supervising the performance of the village government, especially the village head, is quite maximal because the BPD is involved in providing the accountability report of the village head during his tenure.

This study aims to determine the extent to which the servant leadership style is applied in Mon Cheri Ice Cream, Bakery, and Café companies. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The research approach is a case study that examines a particular case in a context or real life. The research informants were five people who were shop employees. Primary and secondary data sources were used in this study. Primary data were collected directly to communicate with the main source of research, namely shop employees as research informants. Meanwhile, secondary data was taken to support research in the form of company history, literature sources (books and similar research journals). Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, direct field observations, and documentation. The results show that the Mon Cheri leader has not fully implemented all dimensions of servant leadership. The dimension that has not yet been fully implemented is the importance of common interests. This is due to clashing company policies that still need further study so that employee welfare is still minimal. Almost all Mon Cheri leaders have dimensions related to leadership competencies, including broad knowledge and insight, comprehensive experience, the ability to manage the company, the ability to lead a team.

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample used was 35 respondents with saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, using the F test and t test. The results of multiple linear regression showed that work motivation had a significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 5.924 > t-table 1.990. The work discipline variable shows a t-value of 4.650 > t-table 1.990, this means that it has a significant effect on employee performance. The result of F-value is 50.604 > F-table 3.112, that there is a significant influence between the variables of work motivation and work discipline that simultaneously affects employee performance.

This study aims to determine the level of suitability of job specifications and the factors that influence the placement of State Civil Apparatus at the Fisheries Service of Lumajang Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This study explains the analysis of the distribution of employees who do not refer to the principle of placing the right person in the right position based on sources derived from scientific journals, books and official websites. The results showed that the placement of State Civil Apparatus at the Fisheries Service of Lumajang Regency using the theory proposed by Schuller and Jackson, namely knowledge, skills, abilities and personality were at a good level (appropriate) but not yet optimal, because of the influencing factors, namely leadership, human resources, regulations, and political positions.

The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the Population Administration Information System (Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan/SIAK) covering human resources, population data, facilities and infrastructure at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bondowoso Regency. Research with a qualitative approach uses informants from the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bondowoso Regency and the use of SIAK services. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observations, and documentation which are then carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The effectiveness of the population administration information system at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bondowoso Regency has been implemented quite effectively, even though all SIAK management operators are contract workers.

This paper describes how the Indonesian government's efforts to make batik recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Through qualitative descriptive research with secondary data sources through literature studies, the research shows that efforts to promote batik abroad have been carried out since the era of President Soeharto's administration until now. However, batik promotion efforts are still dominated by the government. Only after there was a claim for batik by Malaysia, non-government elements also participated in promoting batik as a cultural product belonging to Indonesia. The promotion of batik by the government and non-government elements led to batik being recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) by UNESCO in 2009.

Posisi pemimpin dalam suatu organisasi memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Jabatan sebagai kepala desa diperlukan untuk membantu pemerintah daerah dalam menangani permasalahan yang terdapat di suatu desa, memecahkan berbagai persoalan yang terjadi dalam masyarakat desa, serta mengkoordinasikan seluruh kepentingan masyarakat desa dalam setiap pengambilan keputusan. Mengembangkan potensi desa tentu membutuhkan strategi dan kemampuan yang mumpuni oleh seorang pemimpin agar desa yang dipimpin semakin lebih baik ke depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana peran pemimpinan desa perempuan dalam memberdayakan masyarakat Desa desa Sidorejo kecamatan Umbulsari kabupaten Jember. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran pemimpinan kepala desa perempuan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Fokus penelitian adalah bagaimana peranan kepemimpinan Kepala Desa perempuan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dengan kepemimpinan perempuan. Secara umum kepemimpinan yang digunakan oleh kepala desa perempuan desa Sidorejo adalah kepemimpinan demokratis. Kepala desa menjalankan perannya dengan baik, sebagaimana yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa peranan kepala desa dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat di desa sidorejo ada 2 yaitu pembangunan fisik dan pembangunan non fisik. Peranan kepala desa Sidorejo dilihat dari berbagai indikator sebagai berikut: peranan kepala desa dalam pembinaan masyarakat, peranan kepala desa dalam mengkoordinasi pembangunan secara partisipasif. Kepala desa berperan aktif dalam setiap kegiatan warga. Warga banyak dilibatkan dalam pembangunan desa. Meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat tidak hanya sebagai obyek dan pelaku dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat, tetapi juga melibatkan masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan penjualan personal sebagai bauran promosi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penjualan personal adalah interaksi antar individu, saling bertatap muka yang ditujukan untuk menciptakan, memperbaiki, menguasai atau mempertahankan hubungan pertukaran yang saling menguntungkan dengan pihak lain. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan metode purposive, informan untuk penelitian ini dipilih peneliti karena memiliki kompetensi di bidangnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penjualan personal yang dilakukan oleh CV Al-Maidah Wringintelu sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 melalui tahapan-tahapan, diantaranya memilih dan menilai prospek, pra pendekatan, pendekatan, presentasi/demonstrasi, mengatasi keberatan, penutupan, dan tindak lanjut. Namun di masa pandemi Covid-19 pelaksanaan tahapan kurang maksimal, sehingga promosi yang dilakukan melalui penjualan personal ini tidak efektif karena tidak dapat meningkatkan penjualan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata batik dan mengidentifikasi peran triple helix dalam pengembangan desa wisata di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara komprehensif dengan melakukan pendekatan retrospektif untuk mengevaluasi kekuatan dan tantangan batik Banyuwangi dalam pasar batik dan prospektif untuk mengevaluasi tantangan dan peluang apabila dikembangkan model desa wisata batik Banyuwangi berbasis inovasi produk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 25 pengrajin batik yang ada di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan peran akademisi pada penelitian ini sebagai agen perubahan yang membantu pengrajin batik lewat transfer pengetahuan dalam mengembangkan produk batik, peran business/pengrajin batik sebagai pelaku yang menjadi objek dalam mengembangkan desa wisata lewat kreativitas dalam membuat inovasi produk batik, dan peran pemerintah sebagai pemberi support kepada pelaku usaha batik berupa regulasi, kebijakan dan infrastruktur.
