Investors' worldly benefits and blessings in the hereafter are the main considerations in investing in the Islamic Capital Market. Many issuers have registered their companies on the Sharia Securities List based on POJK No. 35/POJK.04/2017 concerning Criteria and Issuance of Sharia Securities List. However, in practice, issuers that have been included in the Sharia Securities List can be removed from the list in the following period because they no longer fulfill the requirements of the POJK. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of investor protection regulations in the Sharia capital market with a focus on issuers' compliance with Sharia principles. The method used is descriptive-analytical with a normative juridical approach, and the analysis is qualitative. The results showed that the regulations related to the Sharia capital market are sufficient. Meanwhile, the implementation of legal protection for investors in the Sharia capital market needs to be improved to further increase investor confidence. This study recommends increased routine supervision by OJK, law enforcement with stricter sanctions for issuers that do not fulfill Sharia principles, and increased transparency of information for investors.

  • Rini Irianti Sundary + 2 more

Indonesia is one of the largest migrant worker-sending countries in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia being a major destination. Most of these migrant workers are women working in the informal sector, such as domestic helpers, who are often vulnerable to exploitation and human rights violations. The research on the protection of Indonesian female migrant workers in Malaysia aims to identify the problems faced, analyze the effectiveness of existing policies and programs, and provide recommendations to improve their protection and welfare. This research is important to contribute to improving the system of placement and protection of migrant workers, and to ensure that their rights are respected and protected. The research method used is the normative juristic method, which prioritizes secondary data, but is also complemented by primary data in the form of interviews and discussions with migrant workers who are experiencing legal problems in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. In conclusion, female migrant workers, especially those working in the informal sector as domestic workers, are highly vulnerable to various forms of human rights violations, including exploitation, physical and psychological violence, sexual harassment, excessive working hours, inadequate wages, and poor working conditions. Illegal status exacerbates vulnerability, as illegal migrant workers do not have the same legal protections as legal migrant workers and are afraid to report abuses they experience

  • Amwaluna: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah
  • Handry Sudiartha Athar + 1 more

In recent years, there has been significant change in consumer behavior, particularly in the decision-making process and its influence on purchase intentions. Diverse market conditions, characterized by increased competition, have underscored the importance of understanding factors affecting consumer behavior. This study aims to explore the influence of hedonic motives, shopping lifestyle, and religiosity on impulse buying among customers of Muslim fashion stores with Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) as a moderating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique to select 100 Muslim women respondents. Data collection is conducted through online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS). The findings demonstrate that hedonic motives and shopping lifestyle significantly and positively influence impulse buying, while religiosity also plays a role in enhancing impulsive purchasing behavior. However, FOMO does not significantly moderate the relationship between religiosity and impulse buying. These results highlight the interplay between psychological and cultural factors in shaping consumer behavior in niche markets. The study provides actionable insights for marketers in the Muslim fashion sector to design targeted strategies that resonate with consumer motivations. Additionally, it contributes to the theoretical understanding of consumer behavior within the context of religious and cultural influences, offering a foundation for future research in this domain.
