Granting a concordat period to the debtor brings about significant consequences concerning continuous debt relationships, particularly in the context of lease agreements. The main objective of concordat is to prioritize the debtor's interests without harming the creditors. However, in continuous debt relationships such as lease agreements, it is crucial to consider the interests of both parties. Therefore, the legislator attempted to prevent the abuse of termination rights with Article 296 of the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law while also safeguarding the interests of the counterparty. This study examines the impact of the concordat institution on lease agreements and the balance of interests between lessors and lessees.
