ENHANCING ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS' WRITING ABILITIES IN DESCRIPTIVE TEXT BY USING RUNNING DICTATION (RD) TECHNIQUE

The goal of this study is to see if there is a significant difference in writing abilities between students who are taught using running dictation and those who are not. The quasi-experimental method was used in this study, with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students at Vocational High School Rawas Ulu during the academic year 2021/2022. There were six classes totaling 280 students. The sample included 11.TKJ 1 as the experimental group and 11.TKJ 2 as the control group, selected using purposive sampling. The data was analyzed using the paired sample t-test and the independent sample t-test. Following the findings of this study, the average post-test was 69.31 for the control group and 74.38 for the experimental group. The independent sample t-test results show that the value of sig. (2-tailed) was 0.00 less than 0.05 at the level significant 0.05. While the obtained t-value was 11.809 higher than the critical t-table value of 1.664 with degree of freedom 78, As a result of the test calculation of the independent test t-test the t-obtain > t-table, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It means that using the Running Dictation technique to teach writing achievement in descriptive text is effective.

Chlordecone: development of a physiologically based pharmacokinetic tool to support human health risks assessments

Chlordecone (CD; Keponeā„¢) is a carcinogenic organochlorine insecticide with neurological, reproductive, and developmental toxicity that was widely used in the French West Indies (FWI) from 1973 to 1993 to fight banana weevils. Although CD has not been used there for more than 25 years, it still persists in the environment and has polluted the waterways and soil of current and older banana fields. Today, human exposure to CD in the FWI mainly arises from consuming contaminated foodstuffs. The aims of this study were to develop a physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model in the rat and extrapolate it to humans based on available pharmacokinetic data in the literature. A comparison of simulations using the rat model with published experimental datasets showed reasonable predictability for single and repetitive doses, and, thus, it was extrapolated to humans. The human PBPK model, which has seven compartments, is able to simulate the blood concentrations of CD in human populations and estimate the corresponding external dose using the reverse dosimetry approach. The human PBPK model will make it possible to improve quantitative health risk assessments for CD contamination and reassess the current chronic toxicological reference values to protect the FWI population.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAM QUIZ UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA (Studi Mata Pelajaran Mata Pelajaran PAI Dan Budi Pekerti Siawa Kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Lahat)

This study aimed to describe the application of the team quiz learning model and describe the effectiveness of the application of the Team Quiz learner model to improve critical thinking thinking skills and learning achievement of Islamic religious education in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi experimental. The subject of the research was students of class X TKJ 1 semester one of the2019/2020 school year SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. For quasi experimental samples are class X TKJ 3 .and X TKJ 2. The number of students for the PTK class is 27 students for the experimental class totalling 27 students, and for the control class there are 27 students. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets for the implementation of Team Quiz learning, observation sheets for critical thinking skills, and learning achievement tests. Data analysis uses tests that consist of different tests between cycles and different tests of two unrelated samples. The results of the study show that the application of the Team Quiz learning model can improve critical thinking skills, and effectively improve student achievement in Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics

PENGEMBANGAN ELEKTRONIK MODUL (E-MODUL) AKUNTANSI DASAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA (Studi Pengembangan e-modul) Akuntansi Dasar Pada Kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Lahat)

This research aims:1)Development of e-accounting modules that can facilitate the learning prosess, 2)Describe the feasibility of developing an e-module of accounting on the basis of exspert tests and tests tobe used in learning prosess, 3)Describe how electronics module can improve student achievement. This research main goal is to develop electronic modules or modules that can help students in learning because they can use a laptop and also smarphone (HP). The module development prosess uses sigil application for manufacturing processand to read it using EPUB reader using Azardi for laptop and easily for smartphone (HP). This development is expected to guide students with digital learning patterns 4.0. Becauuse the materialand evaluasion can be adjustes to the learning abitlities of each student. This e-module is expected to be able to: 1) Help students learn by themselves without the presence of teacher, 2) Help teacher have digital learning suggestions in the form of electronic module (e-module), 3) One of the references for learning accouting digitally. This development researh used ADDIE methid (Analyze, Design, Development, Implematation and Evaluation). After validation the e- module will try to the student in basic area and in the widht area. To see if test the e- module. The result the e-module can be used in learning proses.
