Abstract

The rehabilitation of patients with moderate or severe atrophied maxilla presents a challenge for surgeons. Many procedures have been suggested for these patients, including Le Fort I downfracture, onlay bone grafts, sinus augmentation. The need for multiple surgical procedures, the difficulties on the wear of temporary prostheses, are disadvantages that reduce. The aim of this paper is report the results obtained from the rehabilitation class VI and V (Cawwod and Howell) maxilla using zygomaticus fixtures.
