Abstract

Summary Two Languages – Four Conceptual Systems. The design of an online LSP dictionary of pension insurance. This paper should be seen as an indispensable research assignment with the author's interest and efforts in bilingual LSP Lexicography as background, in the light of an LSP dictionary of pension insurance with headwords from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. The starting point for the online LSP dictionary for translation purposes is an already existing printed bilingual LSP dictionary of pension insurance which, however, only contrasts and presents the conceptual systems of German and Hungarian pension insurance (Fata 2005). The motto “Two Languages – Four Conceptual Systems” is explained on the basis of a future bilingual (Hungarian-German) LSP dictionary which encompasses the relevant conceptual systems of Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Hungary. The paper ends with specific suggestions for the design of the LSP dictionary regarding its macro-, micro- and mediostructures and with the presentation of selected entries.
