Abstract

Currently, corruption-related crime is growing at an exceptionally dynamic pace in Ukraine, with various links being established between private entities and the public sector. More and more sophisticated forms are being used. Hence the importance of preventive actions, which are to help eliminate or reduce corrupt practices. Therefore it is important to use the example of Ukraine to analyse how to fight against corruption-related crime. This country is only laying down the first foundations of its anti-corruption system. This analysis is divided into two parts. It discusses the basic elements of the system of fight against corruption in Ukraine and the model of operation of specialized authorities/bodies which combat this kind of crime, while presenting selected case studies.
