Abstract
Y 2O 3-stabilized ZrO 2 sensors with simple Pt wire and foil electrodes permit accurate oxygen sensing as low as 300°C over an oxygen fugacity range of as much as 10 log units. These cells are non-Nernstian at least below 600°C, but they have been demonstrated to be reproducible enough to allow iterative calibration correction procedures based on known redox calibrants.
