Abstract

AbstractThe article presents the results of the study and zoning of the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the types of soil salinity. The length of public roads passing across saline soils was determined taking into account the level and type of salinity. The experiment was carried out on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Fergana region. Taking into account the level and type of soil salinity in the field, the evenness of the surface on the roads of state, regional and local importance was determined. As a result of processing the obtained data, the evenness of the pavement of these roads was evaluated. As a result of data processing, the design characteristics of saline soils were determined to calculate the road pavements. According to the results obtained, it can be seen that saline soils play an important role in the deformation of the working layer of the subgrade, which in turn affects the evenness of the road surface. Based on this, we can say that when designing highways passing through saline areas, the calculation of the structure of the pavement should take into account the level and type of soil salinity, and making design decisions and individual approaches when choosing a structure specifically for this area.KeywordsSaline soilStabilizerEmbankmentsSoil densityMoisture contentStabilityStrength
