Abstract

In this paper, zone-specific index based model has been designed to store web pages collected from registered web site and processing of search queries placed at search engine. Identification of relevant web page is accomplished through matching of keywords in search query and web pages. Another key issue of search query processing is response time. It is always desirable that minimum delay in response time to processing of a search query. Response time of search query is dependent on network framework used and indexing mechanism to identify data storage among several available data repository to identify web pages. In proposed model, distribution of web pages among data storage systems is accomplished through matching of keywords presence in each web page to related keywords of zones. Each web page is stored in data storage systems through identification of zones. Search query is processed through zone identification using matching of keywords presence in each search query to related keywords of zones. Presence of specific keywords in web page and search query helps for speedy identification of specific zones as well as identification of data storage systems. Organization of web pages among data storage systems using zone-specific index based mechanism improves response time and accuracy for processing of search queries.
