Abstract
Predmet istraživanja rada je zadovoljstvo građana kvalitetom tehničke opremljenosti u gradu Zadru na temelju deset reprezentativnih varijabli. Zadovoljstvo je ispitano subjektivnim mjerama na razini statističkih krugova grada Zadra. U teorijskom dijelu rada dan je pregled povijesnog razvitka prometnog sustava grada s posebnim osvrtom na cestovni promet, kao najčešći oblik unutargradskog i izvangradskog prometa. Istraživanjem su utvrđene problemske infrastrukturne točke te su izdvojeni statistički krugovi koji se ističu po najvišem i najnižem zadovoljstvu tehničkom opremljenosti. Visoke i niske vrijednosti zadovoljstva mogu se koristiti kao buduće smjernice za daljnji razvitak grada. Na osnovi podataka utvrđeno je da je stupanj zadovoljstva općenito visok iako postoje značajne razlike među statističkim krugovima.

Based on the conducted research it was determined that the quality of technical equipment in Zadar is high even though there are numerous problems which need to be solved
A micro level approach was used in this paper, where infrastructural deficiencies stopping and/or slowing down urban, economic and tourist development of the City of Zadar were determined on the level of statistical circles
Summary
The level of equipment of urban settlements is shown through technical and social equipment. Technical equipment consists of basic infrastructural level of equipment, such as public transport stations, road quality and similar (SvirčićGotovac, 2006). In a broad sense transport infrastructure implies technical equipment that is prerequisite for successful operating of city services and a settlement as a whole (Štambuk, Mišetić, 2002, 157).
