Abstract

Preventive examinations in the field, in the settlements, or in an environment where people live and work, Preventive Health Center in Sremska Mitrovica organized action to implement health care closer to citizens and is based on primary health care (availability of community members in a manner that is acceptable to them ...). The aim of this work is to preventive examinations and health control cardiovascular system in the population by place of residence, gender and age groups, reveal the number of people with disease such as high blood pressure, high level of cholesterol and triglyceride and high level of blood sugar. The aim was to point out the role and importance of preventive screenings review the adult population in the prevention of chronic disease. Method: The method of random sample analysis of the data obtained in the course of action Bazaar health in urban and rural areas in May 2011. Services: anthropometric measurements (weight, height, BMI), blood pressure, the determination of glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides from the blood capillary, advice. The results showed that in an environment where the testing was made, there are many risk factors both in attack and a man in women. There are significant risk factors and risk behaviors and different from their origin and gender. Women more frequently had elevated blood sugar and were less exposed to cigarette consumption than men (χ²test, p<0,05). In the urban population is observed a lower percentage of representation of risk factors (female gender is less frequent in the frequency of BMI, ICG done on TA) compared to the population living in rural areas (female gender is less frequent in the frequency of BMI and TA). Males in rural areas has a higher frequency of risk factors.
