Abstract

AbstractNovel meso‐tetraphenylporphyrin zinc(II) (ZnTPP)‐functionalized hollow microporous organic nanospheres (ZnTPP@HMONs) are successfully prepared a via hyper‐crosslinking‐induced self‐assembly strategy and following postcomplexation with zinc(II) ions using polylactide‐b‐polystyrene (PLA‐b‐PS) diblock copolymers and meso‐tetraphenylporphyrin (H2TPP) as precursors. The obtained ZnTPP@HMONs possess a micro/mesoporous structure, high special surface area, and robust organic framework. In particular, the inner hollow cavity in ZnTPP@HMONs catalyst can be beneficial to the diffusion of substrates and products. Therefore, the prepared ZnTPP@HMONs exhibit excellent catalytic performance and good reusability in the oxidative coupling of thiols.
