Abstract

Abstract[Cp2ZrHCl]n was found to be a useful reagent for a number of either ring formation or ring opening reactions involving unsaturated phosphorus compounds. Furthermore, treatment of a variety of phosphorus derivatives with [Cp2ZrHCl]n allowed the preparation of several linear or cyclic mono‐, di‐, trior polyphosphanes as well as optically active diphosphanes.
