Abstract
SynopsisThe zinc concentration in corn was related to its available supply. Plants showing severe deficiency symptoms were stunted and had a relatively high zinc concentration; lowest zinc concentration occurred when deficiency symptoms were mild and growth better. Two possible explanations for these anomalous results are discussed.
