Abstract

A zinc‐bromine secondary battery with circulating aqueous electrolyte showed 80% over‐all (round‐trip) energy efficiency at a current density of 20 mA/cm2 for 10 hr charge and 10 hr discharge cycles. The battery characteristics may be attractive for load leveling and other applications if a low cost separator is developed.
