Abstract
Decomposition of t‐Butyl‐ and Cumene Hydroperoxide in Presence of Transition Metal ComplexesThe kinetics of the decomposition of t‐butyl hydroperoxide and cumene hydroperoxide in the presence of Co‐, Mn‐, Mo‐, Rh‐, Ir‐ and Pt‐complexes were investigated. By means of the inhibitor‐method it was shown, that these metal‐catalysed decompositions give mainly molecular products and no free‐radicals.
