Abstract

A property which would seem to be required of any space-time claiming to represent a point mass is that the space-time tend to Minkowski's space-time as the mass tends to zero. It is shown that imposition of this requirement would enable a distinction to be made between equivalent space-times. Thus, the requirement is invalid.
