Abstract

19. yuzyilin ortalarina dogru gelisen kimya sanâyisi savaslarin seyrini degistirecek kadar onemli buluslar ortaya cikarmistir. Kuskusuz bu buluslarin basinda zehirli gazlar gelir. I. Dunya Savasi boyunca kullanilan zehirli gazlarin yarattigi tehlike, savas sonrasinda kurulan Turkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde goz ardi edilmemistir. Bu sebeple Maarif Vekâleti, Milli Savunma Vekâleti ve Kizilay isbirligi ile lise/muallim mektepleri ve ortaokul mufredât programlarina gazdan korunma dersi eklenmis, ogrenciler ve memurlar icin gazdan korunma kurslari acilmis, yurtdisindan, ozellikle Almanya’dan uzmanlar getirilerek gerceklesebilecek bir taarruzu en az zararla atlatmak icin onlemler alinmistir. Bu makalede “Gazdan Korunma Dersi” nin ortaya cikisi ve gelisimi, Milli Talim ve Terbiye Dâiresi ile Basbakanlik Cumhuriyet Arsivi belgeleri, donemin gazeteleri ve ders kitaplarinda bulunan bilgiler isiginda nitel arastirma yontemlerinden dokuman inceleme kullanilarak ortaya konulmustur. Certainly, one of the main inventions was toxic gases. The toxic gases, which had been used during the World War I, and not neglected by the post-war government; Turkish Republic. For these reasons, by courtesy of The Board of Education, The Ministry of Defense and Red Crescent Society, “Protection from Gas Attacks” courses were added to the curriculum of high/teacher and mid school, gas protections courses were opened for students and officers, and from abroad; especially from Germany, specialists are brought in order to be prepared to get over the possible gas attacks with the less possible harm. In this study, how “Gas Protection Course” is occurred and developed is going to be investigated in the lights of the information gathered from the documents of Turkish Education Board and Prime Ministry Public Archive, the magazines and the course books of the related period, and it is going to be put clearly through using one of the qualitative research methods; the document review method.
