Abstract
Using high-resolution laser-atomic-beam spectroscopy, Zeeman- and Paschen-Back-effects of the hyperfine structure of the sodium resonance lines were studied in fields up to app. 280 G. The results derived for theD1-line are given in graphical form and show clearly the change in the coupling ofJ andI of the upper level.
