Abstract

In order to provide timely, effective and safe fire support for manoeuvreIn order to provide timely, effective and safe fire support for manoeuvreunits, NATO member states agreed to use common procedures whenprocessing fire missions in multi-national operations. The aim of this articleis to identify differences in the procedures for adjustment of artillery fire inaccordance with the national procedures used in the Armed Forces of theSlovak Republic and the procedures set out in NATO standardizationagreements. After identifying differences in those procedures to conductcomparative and creative analysis of possible solutions to adjust nationalprocedures to comply with accepted NATO standards and suggest mostsuitable ones.
