Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the possibilities of using new technologies in learning foreign language vocabulary. The analysis is based on both educational portals, mobile applications and survey data. The possibilities of using selected online tools to increase students’ motivation and improve their performance in foreign language learning are pointed out. The main difficulties of integrating these tools in the teaching and learning process were also pointed out. It was concluded that the systematic use of some educational portals and mobile applications, both in and out of the classroom, during individual work will allow students to increase their learning efficiency and help them memorize language vocabulary.
