Abstract

Family doctors often encounter psychosomatic disorders caused by family problems, divorce in particular, in their practice. Divorce often leads to poor health outcomes, increasing the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The situation of children of divorced parents, especially the parental alienation syndrome, is a separate problem. The number of divorces is growing, which is an important social, ethical and medical problem. In today's reality, which is dominated by dynamic changes, anxieties and axiological fluctuations, marriage is exposed to many problems. Divorce is undoubtedly one of them, and has become a permanent feature of modern marital life, causing many problems and dramas. In most cases, divorce is a negative life experience, which can undoubtedly affect the children of divorcing spouses. However, if divorce is unavoidable for some reasons, it is important that the spouses respect each other and that their children are impacted as little as possible.
