Abstract
This study defines the life sports approach characteristics of Generation Z among other life sports approaches by generational characteristics. To this end, among non-probability sampling methods, the purposeful sampling method was used to survey 184 Z-generation adults in 20 to 26 years old and their life sports status underwent a frequency analysis. Eight of those subjects were surveyed to define the life sports activities of Generation Z through in-depth interviews and interviews by phone, and the resulting texts were analyzed as follows. First, a high percentage of subjects in Generation Z chose life sports for self-satisfaction and the use of information in the process, and a high percentage chose to participate on their own. In an expected change through life sports, a high percentage pursued psychological health and changes in their body image. Second, in life sports activities of Generation Z, five key characteristics were discovered, such as participation initiative (independent orientation value), information scalability (expanded online environment), unconstrained connectivity (changed loyalty method), stability in life (independent participation), and activity creativity (pursuit of newness).
