Abstract
In Brief Yves Cotrel passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 93. Dr Yves Cotrel created a spine fixation system with multiple hooks, allowing quickly recovering of walking and suppression of postoperative brace. He and Jean Dubousset introduced scoliosis 3D correction using bended rods and rotation of the concave rod.
