Abstract

One of the global problems that has the most direct and significant impact on both individuals and the entire population as a whole is such a phenomenon as unemployment. The issue of unemployment concerns the majority of the economically active population, but it is the most difficult for the youth, since young people are one of the most able-bodied and, at the same time, vulnerable categories of the population. This article is dedicated to the problem of youth unemployment. On the one hand, young people want to work and fulfill themselves, but, on the other hand, this category of the population most often faces difficulties in finding employment due to lack of experience, as well as internal anxieties and fears that do not allow the young population to be confident in themselves, their abilities and capabilities. That is why youth unemployment is rapidly gaining momentum, and young people are losing opportunities to achieve success and are increasingly resorting to informal employment and temporary employment, which in the future does not provide any guarantee for a full-fledged life. The authors analyzed the peculiarities of the situation of young people in the labor market and conducted an empirical study; the results of the work contributed to the development of the social project.
